ValeeLove:I'm thoroughly impressed. I didn't expect some to be known. No one got the last one though. Y'all are going to be surprised whose it is. 1. Kenny Omega - his finisher. 2. Hiroshi Tanahashi - NJPW viewers know this. Is that JD's nick name too? 3. Adam Page. Finisher. 4. Ric Flair. His promo after winning the Royal Rumble. Why he and Hogan never did battle at Mania still bugs me. 5. Brock Lesnar. That's right Kaycee7. 😂 His nickname early on in his career. 6. Kazuchika Okada. A name NJPW fans would know. 7. Ultimate Warrior. Just word play. 9. Shawn Michaels. Have to know the theme music. 10. Sasha Banks. Her nickname in WWE. 11. Lita. A little obvious. 12. Booker T. 5 time! 5 time!! World champion. I don't know why people made fun of him for saying that. It's not like it's easy. Carry on King Booker! 13. Iron Sheikh. Another word play. 14. Sergeant Slaughter. Who else? 15. Bayley. A bit hidden. You had to be watching during that bland show to know. 16. MJF. It's one of his attributes. 17. Bryan Danielson. The name was popularly used in ROH and recently AEW. 18. Chelsea Greene. Her most notable character. 19. The Miz. He lets us know every time. It's not easy sha. 20. The Undertaker. This catchphrase was used by him back in the early 2000s when he started he American Badass character. He made people like Rikishi famous by dropping him off of a Hell In A Cell cage, one of the few examples of that catch phrase in action. One last round coming. |
Round 2 - It won't be as easy as 1, I promise. 1. One winged angel. 2. The Ace. 3. Buckshot. 4. With a tear in my eye, this is the greatest moment of my life. 5. Next big thing. 6. Rain maker. 7. The peak of a warrior. 8. Not your boytoy. 9. He believes he is beyond being a student of the game. 10. The boss. 11. Female Hardy. 12. 5 time! 13. Made of iron. 14. Sergeant. 15. Dig dong Hello. 16. Burberry. 17. American dragon. 18. Hot mess. 19. 2 time grand slam. 20. Make somebody famous. |
pu7pl3:I beg to differ. He was a great wrestler but had a terrible end. The name still bring chills today. Surely it's something worth mentioning at least. |
ValeeLove:Since Kaycee7 isn't showing up. Let the results role in. Everyone did pretty good. But no one got it all. Here are the answers. 1. CM Punk. I agree, Kennedy is a close call too. But I think the name Punk is synonymous with microphones. 2. Big show. The fact that people got this right is funny as hell.😂 3. Macho Man Randy Savage. If you knew the legendary promo it'd be lot easier. 4. John Cena. Obviously. He's not fruity pebbles for nothing. 5. Carlito. Ruthless Aggression era fans know this. Does he still eat them today? 6. The Rock. For the wrestlers, no one in more recent times did interviews as much as The Rock. He was famous for them back in the day. 7. Chris Jericho. His catchphrase when he returned in the PG era 8. Stone Cold. Obviously, I sure wasn't referring to Sandman and James Storm. 9. Bobby Lashley. Another obvious. 10. Boogeyman. Gen Z go to bed. 11. Bret Hart. It takes a little wisdom to fish this one out. 12. Batista. His legendary theme song. 13. Edge. His nickname back in the day. 14. Chris Benoit. His nickname also. Again, Pu7pl3 when are we talking about this dude, or have we? 15. Eddie Guerrero. Viva la rasa. 16. Rey Mysterio. Those saying Gable😂 where on to something, but it wasn't that deep. I just played with words. 17. Christian. A little pun there. 18. Goldberg. I'm surprised no one got this. 19. Kurt Angle. It takes an Olympic gold medalist to have those. 20. Hulk Hogan. Anyone watched Rocky 3? Another round coming. Just trying to cheer you guys up, incase the Mania build is bland. |
You guys did pretty well. I'll wait for CoolUsername before I publish the result. |
Drop the names using the hints. 1. Microphones. 2. Heel/face turn every 6 months. 3. Cream of the crop. 4. Different colour of shirts. 5. Apple. 6. Interviews. 7. The best at everything he does. 8. Beer. 9. Almighty. 10. Eat worm. 11. Paid to kill people. 12. Walks alone. 13. Ultimate opportunist. 14. Rabid Wolverine. 15. If you're not cheating, you're not trying. 16. Mysterious Luchadore. 17. Not a Muslim. 18. The name of a beer. 19. Integrity Intensity and Intelligence. 20. Thunder lips Note: No name comes twice. |
Random question: Why did Cody go to RAW to meet Cena since he's a Smackdown champion? Even if Cena is on RAW, why didn't he go to Smackdown to meet Cody? |
Go ahead. Don't be shy.
|

thirsty? But really seeing people constantly attend to wrestlers simply because of how sexy they are isn't a good look. What ever happened to talent? TNA. |
Which one should we believe? Lagos or Ogun? |
samistry:he's doing it to make up for kicking him years ago. |
CoolUsername:I'm not disputing that. I'm saying Jey standing face to face and speaking English to the guy that attacked and bloodied his twin is ridiculous. Get your revenge at Mania but the rage he is feeling should not even allow Gunther to show up the following week. Where is the chaos? Where is the logic? You bloody my bro, I dey follow you talk? I could care less about the belt at that moment, cos it's blood for blood. Imagine if Jey was Austin 3:16? I don't know what happened but is just weird. And the fact that you're defending it is even more weird. Same thing Cody did with Cena. Put it in reality, If someone bloodied your loved one, would you be speaking English to him? Show me one place in wrestling history where it has ever happened this way. |
CoolUsername:you and I know that's not how wrestling works. Remember what Cena did when Randy attacked his dad. Why is the rule changing all of a sudden? It's making the guys look weak and stupid. |
I don't get it. Why didn't Jey destroy Gunther? CoolUsername you should have an answer. |
Hogan na real agbaya. Why would he try to sabotage someone's career this early? I think I've lost respect for the guy after this discovery. https://www.facebook.com/share/r/1JYwbXVSMY/ |
samistry:I agree. I just loved it for it's physicality and storytelling. I've got to watch out for Kyle Fletcher. WWE needs to take notes. Their style can be too soft at times. |
CoolUsername:that's not an answer. |
Fact or nat? I didn't watch Punk's but I barely heard good things about it, Ospreay's on the other hand was fantastic.
|
pu7pl3:for that particular story, it's not verified I believe. |
Samistry2:few months after he said this he transitioned. Maybe Reddit is calling your name. |
samistry:Lol. Baba he's not dead. He's alive and healthy, and currently doing a program with the Hurt Syndicate. He's had his share of World titles; let someone else through. Also, if you had him in a questionable character development, most of that blame will be accorded to him. AEW doesn't control wrestlers TV presentation like WWE does. If he's in a smaller company and like Swerve, still bigger than some names in the bigger company, then he's definitely big time. What if he doesn't want to go there? What if he doesn't like the schedule (like Ospreay)? What if he likes his creative freedom? What if they are still paying him good over at the smaller one? Cody still lost a lot going to WWE, so all that glitters isn't gold. Let him go where he wants, he's earned it. |
samistry:MJF wey don popular finish. At that young age he already has the respect of names like Bryan, Punk and Heyman. AEW did a decent job. |
You guys watching WWE, what are they doing with my guy Grayson Waller? Dude should just come over to AEW if they are wasting him. |
pu7pl3:Truth is, she did right. Why bother holding a midcard title. It's unnecessary weight. |
samistry:Come on, they didn't fail with those guys. We can only say so if we do a compare and contrast. What have they become elsewhere; then we can say who failed and who won. Also, Tony didn't fire them (I think they all asked to be released). You don't expect Swerve to win every match. He's not the only talent in AEW. And if you need to blame anyone for his abysmal booking, blame Tony, not him; as long as he does well with what he has. Still featured, yet on the same level. Na today WWE dey fire talent? Bigger show or not, Swerve is the bigger name. Merch sales isn't full proof. Danhausen broke sales records too. Only smarks know Swerve? Samistry I'm surprised you're the one saying this. Anyway I'm sure people also said the same thing about Cody pre-WWE return. |
pu7pl3:source? |
samistry:e no strong. Fans loved Mankind so much, he got a main event spot. Fans loved Benoit (have we ever talked about this guy here before?) so much, he got a main event spot. Fans loved Daniel Bryan and Cody, they got Mania Main Event spots. E reach Jey Uso una dey explain. Una love no strong.😁 |
pu7pl3:should still be the main event. WWE and lazy booking na 5 & 6. If you knew he wasn't main event material why did you give him the Rumble win?! They act like it's just children that are watching. You guys should enjoy your WrestleMania. |
CoolUsername:truth is I don't think these guys should have gone to NXT. Look at how Joe's potential was wasted. I recall Heyman saying "I wish we had the opportunity to work with Joe a year earlier". NXT should be for rookies, not people who have already paid their dues. The hypocrites ended up taking Cargill straight to the main roster. Abi that one na best wrestler in the world? |
Samistry3:So he was at a certain level while at NXT. He was being taught to entertain a crowd of 500 and being trashed in the process (according to him) only to get fired - essentially being told that he wasn't good enough to entertain a crowd of 500 or go beyond that (since you said he went to th main roster). 2 years after, he became a world champ entertaining people from 5000 to 80000. Yeah, he proved them wrong. Do you think if they could reverse that decision they would have fired him? It's like asking Eric Bischoff if he would have fired Austin if he knew how great he would turn out. Bottom line, WWE was wrong for firing him and Swerve proved them wrong, despite if he puts syringes in his mouth. Did he learn from them? Of course. Did they give him some exposure? Sure. But they miscalculated him and he proved to them that he was worth more than they envisaged. Yes he does choreography too ( I don't know-how much) that does not make it right or my point less true. Leave Obafemi, talk about others who are already on the main roster like Melo, Gargano, Kross; how many are as made as Swerve? WWE doesn't always get it right and this time they failed. Most of their current male stars were not trained by them. |
Samistry3:There is no solution without a problem. You just mentioned the problems pro-wrestling has. There you go. If we fix it the better. But acting like it doesn't exist will make it even worse. Perhaps people will stop mocking the product if those problems are addressed. Simple. I know the blood is gimmicked, everyone knows that. My point is shying away from it when it's supposed to be embraced and having the guts to mock those that actually do embrace it. Apalling. Lol. Boxing using protective gloves supports my point even more. How did you miss that? And yes, there was blood with Punk, because Vince isn't there to ruin it and Punk is one of the few guys that know how this works. Mox was hardcore at CZW. And yes, he may have regressed as a wrestler, but he's still one of the biggest names in wrestling (he must be doing something right). And more injuries are bound to happen because it's choreographed and therefore amateurs run it. I get your point, now get mine - if you have to soften hardcore so it can be safe, isn't that enough reason to do away with it completely? In a perfect world; a standard match can never lead to injuries, but a hardcore one will, that's a bad sign. And the reason why is because of this rule(and I must add logic, the world is run by it) - "no disqualification". What kind of a sport doesn't include disqualification. A disqualification is a rule put in place to constrain the participants within the limits of the sport rules. When you take it away, you're essentially saying "no rules". Where is the sport if there are no rules huh? You can essentially bring a gun and shoot your opponent without getting disqualified or going to prison. Make it make sense. Na me and Pu7pl3 been get this talk before, and I already made my point then. But the bottom line is Swerve is not wrong. |
Samistry2:I know nothing of this. I hate that bot too. And no, I'm not secretly aligning with it for shock value. |
