The problem I have with this opposition is that they keep talking about what school certificate or class mate he has or not instead of focusing on important stuff like the plans he has to lift people from poverty

If the opposition strategy is to talk about school certificate and where he was born like they did the last time, then I don't think they plan to win an election

if you are 18 years, you will be more interested in school certificate banters online and other nonsense

if you are 20-29, you are interested in policies for job creations

if you are 30-40 years, you are more interested in policies to improve your standard of living

if you are 45 and above, you will be interested in policies to protect your investment

I am glad Mr. President and indeed the entire media team of the presidency have refused to allow Onaiyekan get away with such an irresponsible partisan public comment. Since Onaiyekan has decided to ridicule himself by being so openly partisan, he should be treated as such. No one no matter how highly placed should be allowed to attack the integrity of our electoral system and get away with it.

If Onaiyekan wants to support a candidate openly, he should drop the cassock and do so with his full chest. If he can't muster the courage to resign honorably, the Catholic Church should defrock him immediately. The pulpit shouldn't be a platform for partisan attacks.

I attended Uni in the UK and loans was what we obtained to pay for tuition and upkeep. Life, globally, has gotten significantly more expensive and virtually all Governments have transitioned from free and subsidized higher education ( the case with Nigeria) because it was not sustainable.

Nothing wrong with loans for higher education and upkeep fee for Nigerian students because repayment begins when students graduates and gain employment.

The manner you guys, illogically and unintelligently, oppose all the certified good Tinubu is doing is worrying. The students are celebrating and praising Tinubu. You are here creating negative and flimsy criticism. Are you the Students?

Of 195 nations of the world, around 15 to 20 offer free or subsidized Uni education the figures will keep reducing also because financing it is becoming more difficult. UK used to offer grants but dropped it to transition to loan system. So too many other nations.

Comprehensive funding, to ensure every Nigerian can access higher education, end to lecturers administrative strikes that means three years course end in 3 years rather than 4 years or more as was the case before.
