Politics › Re: Is It A Bye-election Or A Buy-election? I Cry For Nigeria - Fadojoe Faduri by Validated: 10:45pm On Aug 19, 2025
The vote sellers and buyers are not the problem. The problem is the People Who Sit and Watch. Solution is simple, we need to form AntiVote Buying Vanguard (AVBV). We need volunteers in all LGAs, people of characters. The AVBV should begin educating Nigerians on the dangers of selling their votes. As for vote buyers, the time has come for Nigerians to begin treating them like armed robbers.

If not that Tinubu did not listen to some of us when he devalued our currency and increased fuel price; he is doing well. Do not tell me subsidies removal, nothing like that. What was done was a mere FX correction.
Politics › Re: Nigerian GDP Vs Egypt GDP Trend (photo) by Validated: 3:35am On Aug 19, 2025
The pictorial below the economic stability Tinubu is achieving. It is like sending your business from a profit of $572Billion to $187b. Simply put, someone burying himself in a hole and create a sitting room there and be shouting "I have stabilized as I am not being buried further".
To sound economists, Stability means digging yourself from the pit you fell into and stay where you were originally.

Why is it that failures always rant, boast and insult, is that the only motivation that keep them alive?
Even in the face of defeat Obifailures are still boasting.
Please, point out the insult in my post.. Point out the boast and rants. I am simply advising you that in 2027 presidential elections, there are 179000 polling units. For APC to deploy 10 policemen to help in intimidation of voters like they did in Edo, Kaduna, Adamawa and Kano, you better start recruiting the 10 policemen x 179000 polling units. That is 1.8m policemen. If not, your bye-elections "wins" will go up in flames.

You guys have started to recover from Saturday bye election defeat, you have refused your nonsense post and continual attack on the Nigeria president.
Failures always blame others for their woes
Which nonsense elections? What was the turn out and who were they voting for? Name one candidate you know.
Stop hallucinating on inconsequential by-elections... 2027 will be Candidate Tinubu vs Candidate Obi. Nigerians are not voting parties in 2027, but candidates just like in 2023. Smell the coffee ahead bro. if you think APC can gather about 10 policemen per polling units as they did on Saturday, please start recruiting them now because you will need 1,800,000 policemen to man the 178,000 polling units to replicate Saturday's shenanigans.

NGE is worse than the APC government. Time was when the Dele Gina's, Ray Ekpus and the likes of Dan Agbese were in journalism.

What do we have now? Brown envelopes Journalism. People who collect money from the likes of Bwala, Reno, Keyamo and Wike to spew lies and insult our common sensibilities.

A thorough research needs to be done on how Peter was unable to destroy APGA.

PDP and LP he successfully destroyed, and with no doubts, he will destroy ADC.

What did APGA do to survive the destruction?
Education is not going to school or passing through college. Education is passing through college or university and the college or university passing through you. A food for thought for some NLders.

Happy Birthday to the most pragmatic Nigeria leader. Inspite of June 12, which was a faulty election by the way, you were one of the best. From MAMSA, Better Life For Rural Dwellers, Rural Electrification, IBB bridge, ASO Rock villa, to two party politics. Your Option A4 still remains the best and still being used by your worst critics foir their primaries. The Aso Rock you built and finalized is where they still struggle to live. You are a rare gem. Nothing do you!!!

After wetin my eyes see yesterday for LP and ADC election results....the cries of the wailers go long wen Tinubu appoints a South-western as INEC chair cheesy
Oga rest. LP had no candidates. The coalition has said ADC is for 2027 elections, not 2025 by-elections. Even at that, what is the sense in fielding candidates that will go to NASS and defect when pressured by APC lapdog.

By the way, in 2027 as it was in 2023, Nigerians will be voting for their CANDIDATES, not political parties. Again, we heard that in Edo, APC had more security men and thugs than voters. Well, prepare to recruit 2million security men to man the over 178,000 polling units at 10 policemen per polling unit. If not, it will be a long night for Tinubu on election day.
Politics › Re: Yiaga Africa To Tinubu: Publish INEC Chair Nominees For Public Scrutiny by Validated: 12:31pm On Aug 17, 2025
Tinubu can appoint himself as INEC chairman and Seyi Tinubu as Lagos REC. Folashade and Oluremi as Rivers and Kano RECs respectively, he will still lose 2027 elections. I just pity those who are jubilant over the over-militarized and inconsequential by-elections. I hope you will have 10 policemen each to man the 178,000 polling units in 2027, just as it was reported on the by-elections. Better start recruiting now to get 1.8m policemen and army to rig for you.

9jatriot:
The good news about your rambling is that you know that Obi lied so you are no longer making any attempt to defend but to just say "we know what Obi was talking about"

Since you are no novice in economic matters, what about you give Obi a crash course on basic economics and not just book keeping.
Please read this SLOWLY to get it

"Foreign Direct Investments into Nigeria dropped sharply by 70.06 per cent quarter-on-quarter to $126.29m in the first quarter of 2025, down from $421.88m recorded in the final quarter of 2024, according to the latest Capital Importation report released by the National Bureau of Statistics."

I highlighted key notes for you, but since you are a slow learner let me sequence it here.
Q4 2024 - $421,9m
Q1 2025 - $126.3m
Decline Qtr on Qtr = $421.9 less $126.3 = $296.7 Negative or -70%. Education is expensive, but illiteracy or half-baked education is deadly. My humble advice ... please return to JSS2 Economics

https://businessday.ng/business-economy/article/foreign-investment-into-nigeria-soar-by-67-to-5-6bn-in-q1-2025/

Same data, same sources, same story but twisted differently. One sticks to facts, the other is looking for any straw to hold onto just to confuse its readers.

Once again, Mr. Peter Obi has shown that he does not have the mental capacity to understand many of the statistics he reels out. He seems to just quote them to impress his unintelligent audience. I have heard that he even tried to suggest that Nigeria should copy Argentina in its management of the economy—Argentina, of all countries, with a negative foreign reserve, that should be begging Nigeria for help.

All of this goes to show he does not have the capacity to understand micro and macroeconomics and is perhaps more suited to be a trader, which by the way is not a bad thing, but he should therefore limit his discussions to areas relating to what to wear to burials or how to buy and sell.
Op you are the illiterate here. national Bureau of Statistics under Tinubu released the report Obi quoted, see colored section of your JAUNDICED ANALYSIS. So, the question is "Did FDI decline between quarters"? Simply Answer Yes or No.
All your explanations and dribbling are for financial illiterates.
Peter Obi was ABSOLUTELY RIGHT!

That is the hypocrisy in Nigeria. Dangote cement did a road to Obajana for their quarry and APC FG gave him tax holiday. Others will do road for all community and APC will look the other way. It will take a sensible president to correct the anomaly.

Yahaya Bello was celebrated by the people of kogi state after his release from EFCC custody, James Ibori was also celebrated by the people of delta state with numerous traditional titles
Expect Ekweremadu to receive such heroic welcome by his people as well
Where is evidence of the looted money. Fashole used billion to sink a borehole in Lagos and he walking free. Yaya Bello stole Billions and he is home. Glandular was shown stuffing $$$ in his babariga, nothing.
Tinubu has been siphoning Lagos State revenue for the past 27 years monthly at approximately N2 billion a month, he is still your lord and savior. Use your head, it is not just to carry load of poverty.

I think Mr Obi still doesn't realise this is not 2023.
At least half of those who vote for him then will not bother next time around.
Your analysis lack wisdom. So some of us have now abandoned Peter Obi because Tinubu destroyed Nigeria economy? Or because bandits have taken over 7 of the 19 northern states? Or because 75% of Nigerians are now poorer.

Not enough original content? Here's one.... Not a fan of d current govt at d center but I love how they are probing opposition figures(El Rufai, Tambuwal, Udom etc) and how their lackeys are defending the probe. Pick up as many as possible if they genuinely av questions to answer... I'll most likely vote for the opposition, if they happen to win, let em also return the favour - I guess we are about to witness the sanity/accountability we've been praying for in governance.
Very apt. Let APC probe all opposition members. I know that nothing will come out of it. By 2027, it will be Tinubu leading the pack of those to be horded into Kuje, KirikiKiri and Bornu prisons. Aregbesola kuku knows the hottest cells.
