Jonathan does not have balls of steel. Like Fubara and Ambode, Jonathan will concede again without a fight. If as president he chickened from Buhari and Tinubu's threats, he will even concede on election day, knowing Tinubu can arrest him on trump-up charges.
I still say it, APC did not defeat Jonathan in 2015. Jonathan defeated himself. He should go and rest. The APC results in Kano, Kaduna, Katsina and Bornu were over-inflated. Go and check those results and compare them to 2019, you will discover the frauds. In Kano alone over 500000 votes could not be substantiated. In Bornu where more than half of the state was under Boko Haram, where did APC get its votes in million?

The billions sunk on the Kano-Maradi Road was APC's way of stealing from Nigerians. If that money was judiciously used to develop our power sector, perhaps we would be boasting of 10000 megawatt elecicity today. We now ask, what are the benefits of the Kano-Maradi Road? Even if tolled the road will not pay for the salaries of the tolling officials, let alone pay for itself.

The Lagos-Calabar coastal road of fraud is even worse. After spending Trillions on a less than 30 kilometers, we hear that it is collapsing. Now to put this in perspectives, from Lagos to Calabar is about 770 kilometers. Of that stretch, about 60% are swamps and marshy land requiring bridges.
If soft land around Lagos has cost Nigerians about $13 Billions (N20.8 Trillions), just imagine how much the over 400 kilometers bridge would cost and the remaining 340 kilometers of soft soil would cost.
If we extrapolate, using what has been spent, we are looking at about additional N800 Trillions to complete the road. Which is to assume our total annual budget (Capital & Recurrent) are solely poured into the project, it will take us 14 years and 6mths budgets to complete (assuming N55Trillion annual budget).

Now, let us consider that the N800 Trillions or $500 billion required to complete the road was judiciously poured into Power ($100 billion), Agriculture ($100 billions), Security ($100 billion),
Road and rail infrastructure ($200billion), Nigerians will never have need to japa. The agricultural sector will employ millions of youth who today are in Yahoo-Yahoo and prostitution and terrorism. The availability of power would transform Nigeria economy from consumption to production. Our decaying infrastructure would become model.

This is what APC lacks and what the likes of Peter Obi represents. Can we fix this in 4 years, my answer is Yes, all it takes is prudence and will power. Nigeria can work, and all we need is to take it back from those leeches in power.

Nonsense rumor passed to Punch by unintelligent people. Atiku has not joined ADC for strategic reasons:

1. Atiku is one if the promoters of ADA as such cannot be a card carrier of another existing party.
ADA is being sponsored as an alternative party in the event that APC hijacks ADC.

2. Atiku wants to frustrates APC and Kwankwaso's planned alliance, such that APC may commit further strategic mistakes. First was to sideline Shettima, second will be to ... kept sealed for now.

3. There is a working arrangement within the coalition to keep things that way. The coalition have arrowheads in LP, SDP and some in PDP to subvert any plan to have any of those parties fielding credible challengers. So GEJ has zero chance of winning PDP primaries with Atiku's men still in PDP.

4. Perhaps the most important is to keep Tinubu guessing and running 🏃 from pillar to post.

As for GEJ, he is barred from contesting for president. Do not mind those arguing about the law being set after he had left office. The relevant sections read as follows:
Section 137(3) provides: “A person who was sworn-in as president to complete the term for which another person was elected shall not be elected to such office for more than a single term.

Secondly, if GEJ wriggled out of this by any means, he is against barred by Term Elongation clause, which limits his term as President to ONLY 2 FOUR (8 YEARS). We all know GEJ has done 6 years, so he cannot be sworn in for another 4 years to make 10. That would violate Section 135(2A) of Nigeria Constitution. Infact it would not take Tinubu's Supreme Court 20 minutes to declare him intelligible to be sworn in by the Chief Justice of Nigeria

As a keen observer of contemporary events, I make do to remind Amaechi of the outcome of Rivers State Election in 2013. Amaechi alluded to Obi winning the presidential election in Rivers State but didn't know how the results were changed should remember that the same thing happened in Rivers State in 2013. Most Rivers people still remember this. From all pooling booths local results announced had Omehia as the winner. Eventually Amaechi was announced by INEC. It is equally good why he is wondering how Tinubu was announced winner in Rivers State he should reminisce in retrospect how he was also declared the winner in 2013.
