The menace of vote buying is becoming increasingly prevalent. During Edo Elections, vote buying was reported, but in Ondo, it was everyone or everywhere. The extent of that disgraceful practice could be seen in so many cases. In the last governorship election in Ekiti, there were videos and audio recordings of citizens displaying cash received to vote. There was also a recent story of an old woman who responded to a reporters question about Ondo elections , she said, we have voted and collected money.

In the North, people appear to look out for credible or candidates they love, same as in the East. Why does SWesterners seem like the only region where vote buying is a menace. Could it be that other regions are doing it codedly, why SW are too vocal about it? Or coukd it be a cultural thing or just a few flippant respondents?

Please, we want fruitful discourse here. Why is the SW too open to vote buy than other Regions? Is this a sign of renewed electoral sophisticated or just my misplaced assessment?

Please, share your perspective on this endemic menace in our electoral journey. No offence intended please. We need to find answers to curb this menace as we are approaching Anambra and Osun off season elections.

Some naive individuals do not understand the game plan. Currently, Wike still have PDP structure so any elections in Rivers would place him in a vantage position. With PDP winning, the useless Amaehule may bid a return.

Fubara should now begin sponsoring factions in PDP so as to make any primary invalid in PDP. That way, APP will again win overwhelmingly.
