This thread is specifically for DIY and by extension for those working on a budget, so i want to drop this hint here.

This same fangpusun cc you got for 60k, i ordered straight from manufacturer this same capacity, the 30amp capacity, the mppt control, battery balancer (that is 4 items) plus third party shipping charges all for less than 70k...i only hope they safely arrive and work. So if you aren't in a hurry, are within a budget, with a little research and questions to the right qtrs you can get some things fairly cheap and at rock bottom prices.

To the big sellers, pls this isn't in anyway to spoil your business but just to help those who really need these technologies, have lean purses and didn't know about other options.

i bought mine(50amps)for less than 60k with the mppt control. i once bought a 24v battery balancer for 7k. certain things dont need to be order, especially when u need it immediately.. i bought all from trusted nairalanders.

mppt 100/50...i have used Epever 30amps before, but fangpusun is more efficient. it comes with separate Meter for around 60k

it look genuine, but why not go for fangpusun blue 50amps. its quite affordable and works better than this..

My batteries are well over 1 year already and can't match them with a new one, I also run a 12v configuration....the odds are stacked against me


I am on a self learning curve too..... I have 3 pieces of 150watt panel connected to an mppt cc and I have another 160 watt panel I hooked directly to the battery bank without any charge controller in between. I occasionally use that to charge my 20v laptop powerbank and other 12v hand held batteries with some monitoring

then u should forget about running fridge in it for now. i av 4pcs 200w panel,but dont run fridge on it.

To tell you the truth, I am as puzzled as you are because a day after writing that comment, I used a "small transformer" 1000w inverter and then tried my hands on a bluegate 600va UPS with the normal bigger transformer. I plugged a clamp metre while using both and compared only me to notice that the battery was draining faster with the inverter than it was with the UPS!

Quite confusing!

Does anyone know why?

the same thing i noticed. UPS seem to preserve more energy.. but there are inverters of 4kva that consume just 14w, though might be transformerless type

How about the transformer in a Pure sine wave inverter? does it not drain as well. I am asking because I have just procured a pure sine wave inverter and noticed that the battery shuts down faster than when I used the little modified sine wave inverter I was previously using.

some inverter actually have high self consumption. i use a 24V mustpower 3kva inverter that draws about 120w self consumption. thats the reason i decided to buy a 24V apc UPS, which am sure, doesn't draw up to 30w sefl consumption

You are right. I am beginning to see sense in this. I just don't know how to re plan this. I would have gone with the other packages of that man with direct solar cos he has ready made packages. Like packages for 9 fans, 15 fans etc. Unfortunately, most of our electrical wares runs concurrently. We can have a full ward most times meaning up to 15 fans May even be on at the same time. The two TVs are 42 inches thereabout and usually on concurrently. The computer is almost permanently on. I think that was why separate packages would have been the best for me but I didn't know how to calculate those loads.

go for dc ceiling fans, new pc/laptop model that consumes less than 60w, then put your TV on energy saving mode, change energy bulbs to 9w led bulbs(CTORCH product very bright) ALL PROBLEM SOLVED!
