My roof is very steep o, not easy to access. I had called the guys that did the installation to rectify the issue today but they couldn't make it. I don't have the devices to run these measurements right away but I should get the clamp multimeter by tomorrow, with the device I should be able to measure the current and voltage at the panels and cc.

I am looking to boost the current supplied by the panels, will a series connection not cause the current to drop instead ?

NO @ bolded. sorry i forget since your cc is mppt,u don't need to add wire. simply series the panels. a real 350w panel should be outputing 42V to 45V

The wire is 6mm. The total length is about 26 yards.

in order not to waste resources, simply buy another 26 yards 6mm 2core and join the 2cores together and use as negative and positive then input the right settings on the CC and u are good to go..

u may have to check your settings and read input voltage from your panels too, 30v from a supposed 350w panel is totally off. dont return the cc yet, i just researched, it looks like it has heat sink underneath and it is sold for 45k too.

it might not be totally down to the cc, your settings might be wrong too. however if you have to opportunity to return it and get a real mppt pls do. as for good brands. fangupsun, epever, even powermr is good enough.

Only my phone and pc are always plugged in while the battery is charging. Max voltage I have gotten is 13v (while on charge), my battery should read 14.4v (I only get this with gen or NEPA) when fully charged. As for the panel orientation I don't know much about it o. How can I check the current produced by the panels?

i stand to be corrected. this is a fake mppt. try buy a real mppt Cc as the pwm cc u are using is not good enough for your system.

false at the bolded. the best u can get is 2yrs,though depending on usage, it can last up to 4 or 5yrs.

thats a mid range CC. if u are looking for something slightly better, go for fangupsun or epever

i don't believe u are that serious. and have not reached out via WhatsApp for days now. however the group buy is all but concluded, but u can stil gatecrash, if u are fast enough. (note, it takes 3 to 5months to arrive). At the present air frieght rates, u might end spending close to the amount u bought the cells. btw, there is 16pcs brand new cells available for sale at a very affordable price.

shipping lithium is very sensitive, only few shipping company accepts it.it takes approximately 4months .

lolz , u are just noticing, i bought 160w panel as 200w panels, 3yrs ago, i have to spend heavily to return it and another one month to recover my money. the reigning one now, na substandard used panels sold for dead cheap.

not ideal bro, depending on the input voltage from utility, a 1kva stabilizer might barely produce enough.

for a standard setup, quality 200ah battery is around 150k, while a good pure sine wave 12v inverter with charger is around 75k and above. panels and CC not included yet . crude setup not advised, to avoid spending double in few months time.
