If you are a student of Yaba Tech, FCE, Akoka and UNILAG, Gbagada is a decent place for you to stay to keep up with lectures. It is a very strategic location for the working class, who may not be sure of the location of his next job either the Island or mainland where majority of the job opportunities are centred in. Iyana Oworo, Gbagada which is central and it is the closets bus stop before the third mainland bridge. Gbagada is very close to Oshodi, the centre of transportation in Lagos with the Oshodi Transportation Interchange project making it a transport hub. Gbagada is home to many recreation centres for relaxation, exercise and sporting activities. There is a sports centre built by Coca-cola at Roundabout bus stop. There is currently a newly commissioned jetty at Bariga, for those desiring to take the waterways and water transport using boats or ferries to the island to get to work on time and keep up with appointments. Gbagada being the centre of Lagos has a very good road network and some areas hardly gets flooded even in the wake of the heaviest rainfall.
