Could you please confirm to me how many meters of the drip tape you got for your 50ft x 100ft space? I'm trying to make some drip irrigation estimate for my next project, possibly.
It depends on the number of rows and the length of rows you want to establish. For example, I've 20 rows and 100ft per row, so that's 2000ft (609.8m).

Thank you so much boss. What I see occassionally behind my leaves since they started fruiting are caterpillars which I think is due to the butterflies that comes around nowadays but I'll take my time to check for white flies tomorrow by God's grace. As for the aeration, do you think I should prune some of my leaves especially the lower ones?
The aeration I'm talking about is soil aeration. Don't know what sort of soil you're using but if it's top soil, gently press your sack so that the soil surface cracks to allow air in. I don't think you should prune.

My current situation!

So, the first picture shows one of my beautiful baby cukes. Meanwhile, I noticed few of my plants are suffering from these diseases as posted in the other 2 pictures. Root Split and Rotten and Squeezed Leaves. They are 2 different diseases. My ogas I need help ooo. I've applied Lacto Bacillus and Garlic/Ginger extracts, I really hope it stops these diseases or tell me what else I should do. I'm losing my sleep already. @organicfoods @vanpeele
Look behind your leaves...You may find aphids or white flies. When you're applying your pesticide, spray behind the leaves. The roots look like root rot (not sure), caused by lack of aeration and proper drainage.

@ Vanpeele,
You earlier posted this picture from someone. can you recall who you got it from? I want to know where he sources the drip control tube (in red). Is it pharmaceuticals or ??.

Cheers
It is pharmaceuticals. Buying maybe expensive. Try finding the scraps....without the needles though.

hi vanpeele, love ur thread, wish u Gods blessings. Just joined d firum today. Want to ask :
1.if its possible to use ur method, dat is both sacks n ropes for water melons
2. How do u deal with snakes around-i hate dem with passion
1. Yes. Watermelon works in sacks but can't be stringed due to its weight but you can try.
2. Snakes generally avoid humans (unless its them send am). Apply herbicides to your surroundings to reduce where they can hide and try googling to find other ways.

Who knows any other easier and cheaper means of staking cucumber apart from this method?
From my side, you'll have to wait a couple of weeks. Don't know if my new method will be any good but we'll see.

I have been following your post. Please where can i get the Jam bottles? Is there a company that produces it in Nigeria?
I don't think any company in Nigeria produces it. We source it locally.
