how does financial safety works in Nigeria. I told him he called on non official hour and day ( which is 6 pm and Saturday) therefore it can't be true , he hang up while I am trying to investigate more .

That's a natural animal instict, fight-or-flight. In humans we pray when faced with an acute crisis. The most chaotic countries and people in crisis are the most religious. Africa,India, Arabia etc. You will find religion diminishes with the good social wellbeing/education of any nation. If you want to end droughts stop cutting trees, you can pray all Sunday and Friday but the rains won't come. To make a long story short you can actually draw pararrels between religious piety and the lack of education.

I think in university - I found myself in church only ONCE for a burial of a classmate - after that, I attended one church wedding inside a church. I don't remember when I last prayed.
