Lost income is pension. Social security is social...little help. NSSF in kenya is worth more than your pension fund. For public servant - we pay anything 4B dollars for pension - annual. what are you saying ? social security is just an agenda from the part of government to personally take responsibility care of the workers in Ghana . the agenda go as far as capturing the pension scheme cus pensioners are part of the society . it is simple, just factor pensioner funds into your social security outfit. let a competent firm managed the fund by taking little of their income while in service, invest that little fund into project that are essential and has good return back in society, and see how profitable your pension scheme would grow. your pensioner do not need to be a slave to your sluggish revenue that is finding it difficult to continue paying. Let a social security Scheme take care of that .

Wikipedia put your NSSF total asset to 115 billion shillings , if that is the case, then Ghana SSNIT would buy it and still have more change to spare ..

SSNIT is a social security Scheme with different ties, is last ties is name as pension scheme. it provide provident fund scheme and personal retirement programs to all citizens in regardless, either civil servant or not. Your government must immediately relocate to Ghana to come learn how pension funds are managed. we have a very robust government Company here called SSNIT that they can learn from. they managed both public and private pension fund . some of your PHD candidate in public administration may write it as thesis using it as a case study for Kenya development. Already Ghana has exceed the number of nurses to patient ratio according to WHO standard, our focus now is giving more chances to private uni to run medics program, we already have one and many private institution will be coming on board in the future. our Accreditation board are already working on bridging the gap. medics program is not for dumb head like you, so we might need to be careful . and we are not going to over saturate the industry like we have in nursing .

let use 2014 if moving forward is negative to your life . what was the total number of doctors in Kenya in 2014 . factor in population of that year into it as well.

when your total nurse are equal to the number of nurses operating in Accra Your doctor size are equal to the size of doctors we have in just five regions. it will be more easy to fund such payment. but despite that we outspent you in health sector.. a nursing student in Ghana receives allowance and there is a job guaranty after school completion .
