Just30:The illiterate road side economics had grope again. He went online. And post a copy of HIPC and to him that is an evidence of unsustanablity. Ghana is not heading to Greece debacle of a debt-to-GDP ratio of 180 percent. And this Greece of a country was not included in HIPC when it is obvious that their debt is unsustainable. The loan taken so far have been invested into commercial projects such as the Ghana Gas project, the Bui and the Kpong Dam projects and that will generate sufficient cash flows to service the loans. Ask the roadside economics, how those Nigeria intend to service her debt borrowed to pay SALARIES? Crude Oil sales i guess? For example, Akosombo Dam for instance paid for the loan that was taken to build it - something that demonstrates loans properly invested cannot be bad for the economy. The idiot needs to be educated about HIPC and how Ghana debt sustainability is awesome but he will have to pay for it. I am not gonna do it free this time. |
obaaderemi:if i were you at this junction, i will remain silent. Assuming you are even clever by half. You will understand what i mean by descriptive grammar, infact you will apologise for your continue stupidity.. And ask me to recommend an English tutor for you. But your arrogance/illiteracy had already beclouded your encephalon. |
Grammatical rules are descriptive, not prescriptive. Language is always evolving. I'm just ahead of the curve. obaaderemi:You bloviate so much and this may affect you senectitude life. Take a chill to ease your pains. I will advice you to get yourself a language tuttor (understand the basic diffrence between spelling and grammar and their application. .find a way to stop embarrassing youself publicly . |
TayserMahri:Another fantastic reply |
SuperIgbo1:mr Gawaar, The last time you stupidly engaged me on this note. You were so schooled to the extent you result to copy and pasting online Articule when you were so embarrassed due to your poor ignorance while i began to teach you what you will only find in library. An excellent approacb you cry out for. If there is need to educate you, let me know. |
Favor99:There are akans both in Ghana and ivory coast (called the country cote devoire, that is what the country goverment request to identify with)but they are originally from Ghana A Princess from Ashanti kingdom name Pokou who later became queen form the lineage of akans in cote devoire. Though , some members of the Ashanti tribe moved and settled in Cote d’Ivoire, where they are now known as the Baoule people and identify themselves as Akan rather than a subgroup of the Ashanti. The Baoule tribe is one of the biggest in cote devoire. . |
TayserMahri:very brilliant contribution |
Jonraid:Good, let me know of the possibility? Kenya is financially sustainable based on what i have read about the country so far. I will be asking you guys some few question soon. |
Jonraid:whaoo. Can i also invest? Actually, Ghana recently raised 3 billon dollar(eurobond ) of recent which was also oversubscribed to the tune of 21 biillion dollar. The money is expected to land in the bank of Ghana account by April. It will further strenghten the cedis and impoved economic growth. |
Jonraid:Good. The plan to raised 50 billion eurobond is still on the table. And Ghana ministry is still delibrating on the issue. |
tylann:Yes Nigeria Goverment borrowed to pay SALARIES...... That amount is approximately 10 billion dollars . https://www.google.com/amp/s/guardian.ng/news/how-government-borrowed-n845b-to-pay-salaries-debts/amp

samorobo:learn economics 401 for free. Government debt is a capital loaned to the government. And that is what is used to build highways, public goods, and services that are so big and permanent .they will be handed down through the generations. GHANA IS NOT USING THE MONEY TO PAY SALARIES. what Nigeria recently did. So Ghana sovereign debt is nothing like your mortgage debt. Or such debt Nigeria borrow to pay Goverment salaries. In Ghana ,it is not difficult for the government to create and spend money in the future. Since the interest payments are simply paid for with new money; and most importantly, it costs the government nothing in real resources to create and spend assets into the private sector while holding the liabilities indefinitely. And these government liabilities (bonds, reserves, and cash) are held by the private sector as debt-free assets. Ghana isn’t burdened by interest payments, because the government creates money at no cost. And they aren’t burdened by “paying off the principle” because all government liabilities are interchangeable - just like how bank of Ghana is about to exchange bonds for dollars (and with a few keystrokes; no pre-existing money has to be amassed. It is just accounting/ economics. Hope you have learn? |
obaaderemi:if i were you, i will remain silent till the next five decade. You just recently won the indisputable champion of the idiot . Don't you notice how i turn your entire knowledge into something of no value ( spelling and grammar) You dissapoint your fellow fools. Have a nice fool day anyway.....loll |
Just30:Don't mind that road side economics from palm oil plantation UniversIty. The idiot is ignorant of basic vocabulary , how much will he understand sustainability and financing economic growth rate to GDP ratio. That will be complex for his health According to 2019 IMf report, Ghana is the fourth fastest growing economy in africa with a growth rate of 7.6 percent increase. Just behind ruwanda, Libya and Ethiopia. The projections available in IMF’s report is a 7.6 per cent GDP growth rate for Ghana in 2019, 6.3 per cent in 2020 and 6.1 per cent in 2021 respectively.. how is the debt not sustainable. The idiot just think, argument is about copy and pasting online report here. Very ignorant. |
Favor99:Yoruba people in Ghana are exactly the same people as Yoruba people in Nigeria . The only diffrence is, some of them have finnaly settle down into the country. The first arrivals of Yoruba were traders who came to buy kola nuts while others were missionaries and Muslim clerics who were invited to Asante by the Asantehene to help them with charms in their wars. The other arrivals included railway workers who helped in the construction of railway lines from Kumasi to Accra and Kumasi to Takoradi. Major Ghanaian cities As a result of intermarriages, there is also another sizeable number of Yorubas whose fathers are Yorubas but can hardly speak the language. There are more Yorubas in Ghana than anywhere else, apart from Nigeria and Benin. Do you know that, one of the most powerful yoruba king (Alafin Oyo) the current one was born in Ghana. |
SuperIgbo1:Yoruba people migrated into the country but they have been integrated into the country. You will find them in the police, millitary and every Goverment parastatal. |
Favor99:Yoruba people are more in Ghana than Togo. There is also a large presence of Yoruba people in cote de voire. Don't forgot the popular Yoruba man with Ghanaian father that formerly head university of lagos (Babatunde Kwaku Adadevoh).as well. |

Favor99:This isn't true. A typical Ghanaian will never disguised himself to attack igbo. An average Ghanaian cannot differentiate between the major tribes of Nigeria. Every Nigeria tribe is known as Alata ( Yoruba word for pepper seller). Be it igbo or Yoruba. Though Ghanaian maybe more familiar with yoruba people because of thier 2 century relationship. Yoruba people are very proud people, they will never hide their identity even if they acquire American citizenship. |
gallivant:oh my gad. You are absolutely right. If you are a prophet. You will be seeing visions a lot. She actually excape the cage where she was domesticated. |
obaaderemi:haaa, you mean the erroneous gargantuan display of illiteracy? mistaking spelling with grammar? You must be joking. Friend, education is far from your bloodline. |
obaaderemi:Don't forget how i turn you to an English nazi (i mean the idiot one)when you failingly and stupidly can't comprehend my response. And likewise don't forget how i tame you to become more daft than before. Your only rebuttal now is to grap at straw or perharps become an English police which you yourself suck at. You will always remain a sign to demonsrate stupidity when deaf and dump people are communicating. |
obaaderemi:Are you genetically daft? Why are you still failing to comprehend my bank of knowledge which you stupidly tap into is not accessible to you any longer. I am just interested in making a fool of you. Sharing knolwedge with you is like administering drug to the dead. You will never learn what you will end up doing is shifting the topic. |
obaaderemi:haaaaa, the idiot can't handle vaxx heat anymore. Anyway, you are yet to banned me, what is happening? Do you fall into my psychological trap? I actually tame you right? |
You’re our most distinguished alumnus ever' – Buckingham varsity to Ghana Vice president. Bawumia Dr Mahamudu Bawumia with Sir Anthony Seldon, Vice-Chancellor, University of Buckingham The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Buckingham has described Ghana’s Vice-President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, as “the most distinguished alumnus ever” of the school. Sir Anthony Seldon, who was speaking at the graduation ceremony for the 2019 Humanities and Law graduates of the University on Friday, 22 March 2019, said although Buckingham University had students and alumni drawn from over 81 countries, it was “an honour and a privilege” to have a member of the “wonderful family” as the number two man in one of the greatest countries in Africa and the world. Dr Bawumia graduated with a First Class Honours Degree in Economics from the University of Buckingham, Britain’s first independent university, in 1987, and was invited as the Inspirational Speaker for the 2019 graduation ceremony. In a repeat of history, another Ghanaian student of the university, Mr Akwasi Nyame-Baafi, graduated with First Class Honours in Economics in the 2019 batch. “Your Excellency, the Vice-President of Ghana … We are deeply honoured to have you today with us as our Inspirational Speaker, not the least because you are, perhaps, our most distinguished ever alumnus, and we are so so proud to have you back at your alma mater”, Sir Seldon declaimed in his welcome remarks. While the University of Buckingham has always pushed for diversity in faculties and students, with a grounding in acceptance and reverence and respect for every nation, religion or culture, it was particularly gratifying to have one of its own as the Vice-President of a sovereign nation, according to Sir Anthony Seldon. “It is a wonderful family to be part of, and I can’t tell you what an honour (it is to have him here as our Inspirational Speaker). I mean the Vice-President of one of the great countries in Africa and one of the great countries in the world! “We are going to be hearing a lot more of you and of your country in the years to come,” the Buckingham V-C predicted. Addressing the mixed audience of students, families and faculty, Vice President Bawumia encouraged the graduands to nurture and maintain the bonds of friendship formed in the hot crucible of the academic environment, saying such relationships will play a very important role in the successes and failures they may encounter in life outside school. Recalling his own experiences as a student and later as a banker-turned-politician, Dr Bawumia charged the students to see every seeming set back as an opportunity to strive even harder to achieve their goals. Dr Bawumia later inaugurated the University of Buckingham Students of Ghanaian Origin (UBUSOGO) association, a body bringing together current students and alumni of the university. sufferNsmiling:There is nothing wrong in one Nigeria as long as the regional power go back to the people just like the days of Awolowo. Every region must develop under its own initiative and philosophy alongside their respective economy while having the federal gov't as central national power. We need a united state of Nigeria ( country within a country) and not simply Nigeria. There is power in unity. |
sufferNsmiling:No Yoruba will ever despise his heritage. Though he may claim Ghanaian citizenship, Which most of them have biological and constitutional right. According to the constitution, anybody born in Ghana before the independent are automatically Ghanaian. In Ghana citizenship is not acquired by birth, it is acquire by parent or grandparents unless you are below 8 years without any traces of your parent. Such child automatically become a Ghanaian. In Ghana there a lot of lebanese and india Ghanaian.

Jonraid:it is also the same thing in Nigeria. Most of the place the prostitute lives are ghettos . |
Jonraid:Most of the prostitute coming from Nigeria have no means of livelihood. They stay in ghettos or a kiosk brothel. |
