Abuja enjoy a General high living standard than lagos . Stats are available online

Food inflation is not thesame thing as high food prices. Use your head. Now I know what your problem is. You look up food inflation data of Nigerian states, then you assume because there is high food inflation in one state therefore food prices must be higher in that state compared to the other one 😂😂

First of all, how do you know food prices are cheaper in Oshodi compared to Gwagalada? I don't believe it because you said it and I know it's not true.

Finally, I told you Abuja does not need to depend on Benue but you are not listening. Like I have said, no one who has lived in Lagos and Abuja would say food and transportation is cheaper. Lagos with high traffic congestion cannot definitely have cheaper transportation than Abuja where the roads are most free and interconnected.
Yet state with high food prices quickly or suddenly adjust their prices based on inflation. Are you using your anus for reasoning? Who is talking about inflation here ... Stop goal post shifting of my write-up. How those living standard and inflation resemble each other

You must be stupid to be thinking I will have time looking for inflation across Nigeria state , I can easily used Google to paste Nigeria stats here based on food inflation if that is what I wanted to do. Ozuor ni eleyi o.

Oshodi houses more Nigeria than gbangbalada ( particularly average nigerians) and the General living standard of lagos is way lesser/ cheaper than Abuja . Hence this fact .it is you saying otherwise . You already stop your feeble argument of trying to ascribe Abuja to uber driving , forgetting that lagosian uses Paragon ( the yellow busses and BRT more than uber . ( It seem you went silent about that now).

What goes into food prices is directly link to what consumer can afford . The standard of the living.

Again , food are more likely to be cheaper in poorer state than in rich Nigeria state... Fact are there

You are the one arguing stupidly here. I can show you several clips of people who have been to both cities saying thesame thing I've said. You are talking of Oshodi, we are speaking in general, both Lagos and Abuja how cheap is food one to another. You obviously have not been to both cities nor do you know but you argue.

Also Osun state is mainly for civil servants and farmers, so why won't food be cheap there. Enugu and the South East in general is made up mostly of Entrepreneurs, sme's than farmers and farms in general, so your argument holds no water because you haven't even considered bad roads, modes of transportation, and other factors between Benue and Enugu. This is why Abuja has the advantage because it has several states nearby not just one but about four all around.
I don't need to tell you I have been to both cities. Thru my comment , if you have thinkable head , you should know yourself . I initially used oshodi and gbangbalada because it is the most affordable market for average Nigerians .oshodi is in mainland lagos , gbangbalada is also at the lower end of Abuja where majority of those who can not afford the expensive rich lifestyle of Abuja lives . So it is a good example that represents Nigeria at large .

You are a zombie who doesn't understand how basic economics works , osun living standard makes food cheaper not because it is civil servant state or not. If not the likes of ondo state which is also a civil servant state and a closer state to osun state will also be having a cheaper access to food, Enugu is closer to the food basket of the nation ( benue state )and so is anambra , in this state , food are more expensive than edo state that it is not closer to the food nation. You can also called Edo state a civil servant state. Ozuor . Even benue state also share border with cross river state ( another state with high food inflation in Nigeria ).

Benue state to Enugu is five times closer than benue to Abuja regardless of any circumstances. I am sure you don't know benue and Enugu share a border to the west. They are just stone away .

What determines food prices is largely living standard and not accessibility in many occasions . Food are likely to be more cheaper in poorer state than in rich state .

There's no one who has been to Abuja and Lagos who would say food is cheaper in Lagos than Abuja. Just admit you were wrong and let it go or you show me one person saying it. Abuja is not just close to Benue only but to many Agric powerhouses. Benue, Kogi, Kaduna, Nassarawa, Niger. They are many so food just comes from everywhere more easily.
Don't be stupid . Your evidence are without a fact.

Food cost price is based on the living standard of the people. Hence the reason you will get food as cheaply as possible in oshodi market than gbangbalada in Abuja . Benue and kogi state are more closer to enugu and anambra state yet food are more expensive than osun state that is far away apart

I forget , You know even sabi Lulu Briggs.

Out of the about 5 major credible ranking bodies, I think times higher is even the least because people hardly take them seriously. The reason is that their methodology is narrow and somewhat limited mostly to number of research papers submitted
Your own personal view. It doesn't count outside Nairaland. Times higher is a British institution and most reputable of them all. .

So looking at it comprehensively, Nigerian schools are still ranked the best. UI is always up there across all rankings, except for times higher ranking which puts Covenant University ahead of UI.
Not true , let's check Qs and webmetric that largely used Internet traffic to arrive at their own conclusion.

Only a mad man will agree that food is cheaper in Lagos than Abuja. Abuja that's closer to Benue, Niger state, Nasarawa, Kogi and Kaduda state. those states are the food basket of Nigeria.
Then you are mad

this is the part of insult I am saying, ( many nigerians don't know their country) so because Abuja is closer to food producing state therefore food must be cheaper than state that produces less. You be ozuor .

Buisness aren't like that in many occasions, it is lagerly based on living standard of the people. Benue is more closer to enugu than osun state. have you asked yourself why food is more expensive in enugu than osun state .

At that stage, I just knew he knows little of what he writes about.
but you that have much information of what you wrote about . subtantiate your claim otherwise. I provide evidence for my own. Let's read your own

I also said lagosian used BRT bus and Paragon buses more than uber and taxify used in Abuja therefore making transportation cheaper. Unless you claim paragon buses and BRT are more costlier than uber .

You cant defend what you don't know

So how many times has Times Higher Ranking ranked a Ghanaian university above its Nigerian counterpart because the last time I checked, this was something the Nigerians had an edge over Ghanaians and they were not making any fuss about it.
UCC was ranked ahead of any Nigerian university both in 2023/2024 respectively. And that was its first time entering the table.

Lol you are funny. Who is Lulu Briggs? There are also many who go to Lagos hospitals. So I don't know what you are talking about. At the moment, there is a huge influx of people from the UK at various Lagos Hospitals due to the waiting time for appointments in the UK.

As for University rankings, it depends on what ranking you are looking at. I think only Times Higher Education rankings put a Ghanaian school ahead of UI in Nigeria but other rankings differ. Even if we go with Times Higher rankings, Nigerian universities still dominate the list of top universities in Africa and Ghana has just one at the top.

Nigeria has 170 Universities. How can Ghana compete with something like that.
You don't know Lulu Briggs because you don't know who is who in Nigeria. Anyway Lulu is one of the old billionaire in Nigeria ( he was into oil business from PH before he passed away ) he died here in GH. Many nigerians have been referred here base on the kind of fercility gh offer and not because of waiting time like that of the UK( you said it is the reason for choosing Nigeria). Many top politicians have used GH hospital. The likes of eyadema of Togo for example.

Times higher ranking is the most commonly refers to in the table of ranking . And by their own standard , they have ranked a Ghanaian university ahead of her Nigeria counterpart , that is the bone of discussion. And if you go thru the ranking from the same institution, you will realised Ghanaian university have been dominating the list for long .

It is not about the number of universities,it is about the quality and academic standard

Lol. Lagos alone would compete with Ghana in terms of health services and health infrastructure (whatever that means). It is a home of many private hospitals and there is hardly any advanced medical infrastructure you won't find in Lagos. So what do you mean by health? The largest medical center in perhaps all of Africa today is being built in Abuja (started in 2021).

In terms of education, I don't see why you say Ghana is doing better. Maybe Ghana would compete in education at primary/secondary level but definitely not at the tertiary level. If you say infrastructure again (like the last time), what exactly do you mean?

Even Borno state which was war torn between 2009 and 2017 has so many public schools spread across with a few state universities or maybe you say this because KNUST is beautiful. I don't get your parameters clearly though.
if the likes of Lulu Briggs can choose Ghana hospital over Nigeria and decide to die in Ghana hospital ,then what you are saying is from your own pocket.

Many nigerians family have been referred to Ghana hospital from Nigeria ( particularly those who cannot afford European and american hospital. Kole bu teaching hospital for instance.

Apart from Ghana being ahead of Nigeria in basic education and waec standard, Ghana also lead in tertiary institution, university of cape coast is currently the 7th best in africa according to times , higher at ahead if any Nigerian it Kenyan universities. Infrastructure wise , no Nigeria university can compete Legon both in architecture and fercility.

Pls vaxx you and i know that a proper Nigeria guy wouldn't look at flagstaff house twice. And just like samorobo said only the Ridge hospital will actually give a Nigerian multiple look which i totally forgot. Knust and legon will also probably call for our attention because of the stack disparity between the orderliness in the school and the chaos outside in the street. Outside that i am yet to see what will make a Nigerian go gaga in Ghana.
samoidiot is not talking about ridge , he is talking about UGMC in Legon . Ridge is another beautiful hospital in Ghana that will easily be waoo by many nigerians, you guys are declaring.

If you understand what goes into architecture, you will know flag staff is a master piece . No need to argue it with you on that , universities campuses in Ghana apart from it being excellent on its own , it is not the only thing that will waoo you in GH ( the flag staff will do for any reasonable individual who understands what goes into architecture.

I can't wait to visit Nigeria some day. As I speak my mom is in Kano doing business. She buys from Ghana and sell in Kano and buys from Kano and lagos and sell in Ghana.

My only visit to nigeria happened when I was like 7 years old. My uncle used to live in lagos. I have lost most of my memories of my short stay in lagos. But one thing I will never forget is party lol. It was like every day we were going to one party or the other in lagos 😂😂. Even when I came back I was still crying- party!! party!! when I was being prepared for school 😂😂.

May be I'll have to experience nigeria (lagos, kano, abuja, ph, etc) again to be able to pass a fair judgement.

Then again its not right to denegrate an entire nation like Ghana, I am not sure its you I quoted the last time, but if its you kindly retract, its not right.
Lagos is growing and it is the most developed city in Nigeria . It is like the heart of Nigeria . You removed it , then there is trouble to the rest of the body part .. this is from someone that knows Nigeria like the back of his hand.

The thing is this, you can not come from Nigeria 🇳🇬 and get wowed by anything you see in Ghana tbh. This is coming from an akwapim man.

The only thing that can catch a Nigerian's attention in Ghana is the share number of single dwelling homes. If they were strategically placed and arranged in an otherly manner without been mismatched with slums, containers, kiosks, lottoshop, and uncompleted buildings here and there, maybe the wow factor wouldn't have been missing even without skyscrapers and high-rise.

If you think kwahu, east legon, cantonment got mansions, wait till you come to Nigeria 🇳🇬 i will be your tour guide. I won't take you to Lagos and Abuja before you see jaw dropping houses. I have seen the best of both countries, Ghana should take several seats behind.
This two needed to be addressed , the rest can be laugh at .....

The flag staff house is spectacular design , it will catch any Nigerian attention, even those who are at the corridor of power in Nigeria. Aso rock is a normal buidlng built on a rock right there in Abuja.

.Now the second suggestions, Ghana leads Nigeria in many ways , is it about socially life (Ghanaian benefit and enjoy govt support than Nigeria ) if there is any Nation that needs several seat ,it is Nigeria.
