So this is the situation today , those who came early even at 4am were not attended to . He’s just attending to spill over of yesterday. Those of us who stayed till 3pm yest , he collected our application number yest. Then this morning , he came with the list and called us in then told today’s walk in to go and come back. So best bet is to go around 2pm , kos that’s the time he takes their application number for the next day .. but if you don’t mind waiting the whole day . I did mine this morning and finished around 10am

Yes. Use a bank branch close to you.

It’s just an option.

You can have it in your DOM account in Nigeria then take your debit card with you, just be sure your bank does not have monthly or transaction limits. Many banks here do.

As inn. And to dey carry plenty money upandan. I heard the same thing that transfer from a Naija dom acct to a UK account incurs ridiculous charges. Best to ask the bank for the % sha instead of assuming

Not really. It will not be a direct transfer even if your bank has that feature on the app. The trade/foreign desk within the bank will treat the transaction/transfer.

None of these are direct flights, they stop at their home country for a few hours. Check the layover time and COVID rules for each airline and make your decision. You can only find direct flights with British Airways and Virgin Atlantic.

I want to thank YOU for contributing and assisting with your knowledge and experience on this platform. I've been reading through some of the post and responses after getting here two days ago.

I applied to Nottingham Trent University for Masters in Social Work last week in June for January 2022 intake. Have written to them twice to enquire about the status of application and they said its been received and under review. They're yet to give me an update on my application status still.
Someone advised me to apply for another course to have more options but I don't want another one neither do I even know which to apply for.

Any hope with NTU?
I need suggestions that can help me, please...



(On the other hand I also applied to Teesside University for same Masters in Social Work for January 2022 intake, wrote to them after about three weeks for updates. They finally sent me their decision last week that my application wasn't successful because the class is filled up)

I doubt if its instant cos I used gtb references and I wanted to pay in money to the account today after they sent me a message yesterday that the account has been created and they said the account is restricted cos they are yet to confirm my references. Dont know if any other person has experienced that while opening a gtb dom account.

This list today was about 60 something but most people on the list wrote their names and left so to the best of my knowledge they attended to everyone that was ground for walk in today.

I can't categorically tell you how many people will be there tomorrow from today's list because the whole thing was scattered at the end but get there as early as 5 am, I got there around 6 am and I was no 30 on the list.

They attended to 25 people that came for that day.. out of 80+

Yeah, they first called people from the previous day.

At 7am, I think we were less down 20.

PS: It’s a different ball game if you go for walk-in on a Monday or Tuesday. The crowd is always g*ngsta

He should get there before 6am if it’s VI.. he might need to get there earlier like 5am for Ikeja.

I got to VI center today around 4:55am.. (1st on the list for walk-in) I didn’t leave till like 2pm.

I will advise you use the VI centre but you have to get to the VI centre early enough( like 5:30am- 6am) and try to make sure you fall between number 1-10 on the list for that day. With that you are good to go. Usually they do start walk in with the persons left on the previous day list so it’s when they are done with the previous day before they start with the present day list. If you need further questions i’m here to help out

Hmmm it is always advised to leave the money in your account till you even get to the UK, that is the first thing my school rep told me
