Why are black people so critical of their own people when it comes to complexion? I didn't see one of you Africans stereotype any of the white actresses that were posted, and I honestly didn't think all of them were pretty.

As soon as someone posts a black person on a black thread, if they aren't perfect, they're suddenly bashed from their own people, which at the end of the day, should be the only people to have their backs when they already have it hard enough being black in a white world.

All I'm saying is that we should be so hard on one another and always giving other cultures more praise than you give your own.

Needless to say, "Too Dark", is nothing more than a historical color complex. Why is one always too dark- never too light? Get with the times you guys and look at what blacks have become- against our own looks.

The original poster mentioned this woman being darker than Mercy, but who said dark skin had anything to do with why they called Mercy dirty skin? I'm only asking, did I miss that? is that why?

Why would this thread be started to pull down beautiful people. When someone is beautiful they cannot be pulled down even by bad looks, a bad hair day, or a horrible picture. This wasn't meant to be threatening, I'm sorry if I insulted you somehow.

In my opinion, the pictures I posted, the celeb's don't look as good as I'm used to seeing them, my opinion. If it isn't yours, I can understand as we all differ from having the same opinion.

Ok, well after that posting, I can see the slight the difference. I think she's definitely had one. Her nostrils don't looks as bulgy as they did before.

Isn't it funny how we all have a different eye for beauty? I think it's amazing. I think she actaully looks hideous in these up top, and I think Beyonce is a nice looking woman.

I thought I did Beyonce's already but I guess not.  These pictures of her looks awful to me.  This is a really bad look for her, and the weight gain could have a lot to do with it to, since she appears a lot thicker than her usual Hollywood self.

Yeah, it could just be makeup. You know how they do the makeup to define the nose a bit more detailed.

In my opinion, even with the bob hairdue, though it does fit her better, it doesn't change the way her eyes look in these earlier ones.  Despite the hair, I find her less attractive in these pictures.

To me, is seems now it just doesn't look as bulky as it did before, I know makeup can also create this appearance, so hard to tell. As long as it still has its African feature is what is important to me. I don't exactly disagree with nose jobs, it's when you try completely altering it completely away from your ethnic background is when I find it ridiculous.

This is either a very bad shot of Rihanna, or this is just what she really looks like. Honestly she isn't anymore than a cute girl to me, anyway, but in this picture, she's not even that.

I usually think Ciara pretty much looks good to great in all shot caught of her or live, but in these pictures posted below, they just don't seem to look as good as I'm used to seeing her.

I think Miley Cirus is hot. I don't think at all she's trying to imitate any other celebrity; I just think celebrities are automatically compared to other celebrities along their lines when they come showcase themselves. If she were black, 17yrs old, and hot- Lady Gaga's name wouldn't even come to mind.

No offense, I just think we do that naturally as critics.
