I had this stock oooo, even bought more today, due to the fact that dangsugar continued with bid and no offer for the 2nd day. I bought because some how it must affect danflour...which just happened few minutes after my purchase. Both of them used to sell N12 and the other N13

i think bargain hunters are through with diamond, and long term investors have taken over...

My trust grow on morgan when they took step by blocking pre market bid, in order to avoid being sanctioned again by sec...I think email issue is not a serious one as long as they pay

point of correction.fcmb group has csl as a stock firm and csl as a registrar.Both are two different companies.They only divested csl registrar which is now cardinal registrar.
Right now they have the following as subsidiaries:csl broking firm,fcmb capital market,fcmb bank and fcmb trustees.

coming to revenue diamond bank had higher topline as revenue than fcmb while fcmb had higher bottomline as profit.This is where investors keep their eyes(bottomline)

Fcmb had a higher eps in the Q1 than diamond.I dont know much about others but i have pointed the key points.

I believe that diamond bank can perform better than fcmb with time but not now.They were better than fcmb in years back but not now.....i get am before no be property.

Sir pls let this no cause arguement.The most important thing here is we all are making more money this year.With time,we shall know where each bank belongs to.

loco the issue is that both fide and diamond made a profit of 4billn + each in 1st qutr, while fcmb made 1billn plus...but their are other factors that makes fcmb out perform

If current rally continue FCMB will hit #3 plus at the end of the year.
FCMB has subsidiary like CSL stockbrokers which is one of the leading stockbroker in the country, I have them as my stockbroker too.
With their subsidiaries they stand tall in the midst of Diamond bank and Fidelity.

you should know that the market is highly demanding for diamond unlike fide and fcmb, since few days ago and if it continues this way, hmmmm na heleleooo! Imagine the fact that it closed today with around 60milln bid with no offer, I feel that investors are now greater in diamond than traders. I have both fcmb and diamond anyway

The leader will be determined by earnings.Hopefully,Diamond may lead because of low OS when compare to the other two and also a higher earning.I didnt pick it due to their poor dividend history.I still believe fcmb will really wrestle with Diamond for a long time before it becomes the winner.

I just learnt something now as i am still on course.I have been momouring asking myself why will fidelity and diamond rise at the same time to overtake fcmb,i discovered if such a competition is not seen among these 3 banks,it will be difficult for their prices to move.I am not even bothered which one gets to 2.00 first but i am sure the competition will take the 3 of them above 2.00 because one must surely lead in this category.

These 3 may be the best banks to reward shareholders in the year 2017.

all things being equal diamond is their leader. It used to hover around half of fisrtbank price . Check their history. Diamond was selling around N20 while first bank N40 in 2007 and N4 while first bank N8 in 2015. Beloved, infact as long as diamond is concerned, first bank is my measuring yardstick. As for fcmb it was around N14 in 2007 and around 2-3 in 2015

though I offloaded some of my fcmb, I still believe that fcmb can't be trading below fidelity, if they release a good 2nd qtr result. However, all things being equal, I think that diamond should be leading the two
