I'm sure @justwise will remember my case and few other people, I applied sometimes in February with priority one day about 1k pounds, I was invited for an interview but they claimed they called but the call never got to me but I prompted them I didn't get a call on that which stands has an evidence for me but following day I was denied they said I didn't pick my call when they called! I was devastated I was so sad and worried but I kept my faith on, applied for administrative review via a lawyer in the uk which cost me about 300£ With all the evidence I could get from the network and police and Interpol self, 70 days plus nothing from them, but during the time I was in touch with school and taking classes and doing tests and assignments from school infact I was involved with student Union matter online to the extent I became a representative for student, school was willing to issue me a new CAS after the long wait I requested for a new cas and I was issued a week after, I applied again

Biometric: 29 April
No Decision email
Docs ready for pick: May 6
Picked up today with my Visa intact

After 3 uk visa denial I eventually got it

I very sure you will get a successful AR but also certain that your case will be referred back to the original case working team because they have not gone through your application. Referring you back is where the problem is. There is no time frame of when the will get back and you can’t complain on that because they will say it is due to COVID and that it will take 28 working days before you can escalate. It is not certain they will respond on time. But if your school can continue to give remote learning you are fine but, you have to be in the UK by April 9 to be eligible for the post study visa

Wow, this is serious they just make decision without looking through and through I was just surprised at the decision, I escalated when I didn't get a call and I believe this should be a back up thing for me, I want to mail them first before AR Thing I believe I should get a follow email stating they called and I wasn't available can I give them a reason why and all but they never did, just sent a refusal out of the blue, I have started classes online and already doing presentations in school online with my groups I'm worried but I know this shall work out for me too

I have learnt from this, damn long process but is the reason for your refusal same as mine, my refusal case is so straightforward and I think I could do what you did in the case of the refusal of your 20 million to 4K pounds sir, thinking of it, if I was in an accident or something I expected a follow up letter from them that they called me, I'm confidence with God on my side I'll with successful with the AR, the only difficult is the incoming calls.

My application process

I applied July 19, 2020, did my biometric August 6, 2020, and got first refusal August 26. I applied for administrative review on the same day we got the refusal.
I got a successful AR 28 days after I applied and my case was referred back to the original case working team for my case to be reassessed. I waited for over two months after AR decision (sep 23 - dec 2) after two escalation and got another refusal stating that my 20 million is equivalent to 4K pounds�. I was mad, sad and depressed all together. I did another administrative review pointing out the error, replied the email that sent the refusal decision Cc: compliant and ICI of ukvi and Boader Agency.
On the evening of December 3 I got a mail from the email that sent the decision stating I was right and they will get back that I do not have to apply for another AR. I was excited and felt it was finally over.
Dec 9, I got a mail from complain stating that they are upholding my complaint and I will be called for another interview. Dec 14 got mail for interview for Dec 15 which they did and God came through and the interview was okay.
After waiting for another 5 days (dec 21)without a response from ukvi, I sent another mail stating a case of prejudice against me and my family to work and study pdc, interview, complain and ICI.

December 22 around 9:35pm Uk time for an overturned decision� and a link to pay IHS will be sent. Thinking that was the end, we got the IHS link for the last dependent January 15 after plenty call and email.

We finally got visa on Thursday February 4, 2021.

It was not easy at all. The process took us 6 months of pressure from work, school and UKVI.
God actually gave us the wisdom and strength to endure and keep pushing.

If you can wait and be ready for the trouble UKVI will give (never get surprised) go for the administrative review

I hope this will help someone take an informed decision and you can also ask me any questions.

I have double check the number was correct and I even confirmed it to them when I was invited for the interview, due to the corona virus, might said all January student should be in school latest April first week, that why I'm not to worried on that side

Thank you very much @justwise I didn't see the call at all, i didn't lie about it, I have been up for a while to prepare myself to make sure there is no interruption, and yes I have been to my network provider asking for it and I have put in a lot of work towards, waiting to hear back from them on Monday and attach it sir,

Will you be able to get a call log from your provider? If yes do that and send a letter of complain with the call log attached.

If truly they called you and you did not pick then the refusal is not unfair but if the opposite is the case then you have a good case

First of all... don’t admit fault to yourself or “Nigerian network provider”. The fault might as well be from UKVI or their own network. It might even be that they were calling the wrong number (there’s a situation I know where this was the case). You didn’t get the call, period! That’s as much as you know. Attach your official call history to buttress it (you can request this from your network provider, like bank statement).

You shouldn’t take the fall for anything that isn’t your fault. Apply for administrative review if you have time. Remember again, never admit fault or blame it on anything you don’t know about. Don’t assume any Nigerian situation caused it. Just affirm on what you’re sure of... which is YOU DIDN’T GET ANY CALLS. Explanation on why that is the case is not your business.

I mailed them like 3 hours after the intended call, that i didn't receive any calls and they never responded to me, and I mailed again yesterday morning I didn't receive any calls as well it was later that day I got the letter

See you need to understand the administrative review well before you waste over 3month of your time.
If it was an error from the ECO they will granted visa but if not they will refuse.
The work of the person doing the administrative review is to check if the ECO called you not to start checking your call logs.
So think about it well.

Administrative review might take longer time but it is your best option cos that decision was harsh and unfair but if u can as well reapply all the same. Take Jan 2021 out of ur mind,go for September intake and I am certain u will get favourable answer

About your paid mail. Check the letter , the eco said “ Although, you have subsequently contacted this office, you have not provided any information to explain your failure to attend at the agreed time”.

Which means they got your email but they looked away.

Pretty sure it is from your network provider.

I sent an email to them I didn't get a call 3 hours after the intended time sir; and I didn't get any response and I did the same and even paid for an email yesterday evening and it got escalated after the mail I sent this morning asking about the call, fews hours later I got the refusal letter, they should know I don't get the call was why I was mailing them and they never replied to it and didn't bother to tell me what happened, it's an harsh one on me, is why I think I can overturn with the review

Luckily for me, I didn't send any paid email however, I did send a mail to the email address used to send the invite. Also, I called 09 462 3100 and it was free. Like I said, they will call you unexpectedly.
