please guys I need your help with the best approach.

My younger bro is about to put his visa application, however his passport will expire next year April. He is currently in Istanbul and wanting to come back and apply from Naija. He has applied for a new passport and done capturing, just awaiting printing. We are wondering if we can apply with the current passport and when the new one comes out we can then write to them to allow us update the new passport. just wondering if this is even possible because I was told by someone to wait for the new passport.

Please I am in the process of my brother's application.
I am his sponsor and wants to provide my foreign bank statement and work documents all.
He has got travel history as well as career progression from bachelor of transport and logistics to grad certificate in Supply Chain management.
However, he does not have job ties in naija. he finished in 2018 and was in Turkey and we decided to commence the Canada studies.

I am a bit confused and worried as to what to prepare and if it's compulsory he shows job ties. please if any one can offer suggestions and guidance I will be very grateful.

It depends on where you live, in Abuja go to CAC. They full there. Otherwise, you can use any notary lawyer and they must have the stamp.

I think one will have to claim the baggage somewhere around bangkok or singapore but my major concern is a friend who tried to fly through egypt air that connects with scoot airline to aussie was not allowed to board the plane by the Egypt air staff at MMIA,and their reason was that they don't do low cost. I don't know if there is anyone that has been allowed to fly egypt air to aussie that can share more light on this.

Also I saw a ticket with Ethiopian air ways and they stated the same thing about claiming luggage and checking in again and the connecting airway is China southern airways and it's really confusing. And scary

Thank you so much for replying dear. But claiming your luggage at Bangkok or Singapore will require you going through passport control right and once we dnt have visa to go through our luggage could get stuck.

Please am so sorry for disturbing. Please has anyone travelled with egypt air currently to sydney or Australia and is is true that we will have to claim our luggage and re-check them again at some part of the trip.

That is not true. It's not even possible. Please apply. However make your application strong to the embassy and it must be able to convince them that you really are here to study

Hello house. A second opinion woud be well appreciated.
Got my visa grant yest monday 24th July 2017 which apparently was my latest start date. I sent school an email yesterday for a further extention informing them of my arrival later this week as the delay was due from the embassy. They responded saying that i should not go ahead with my travel plans that the faculty is not accepting further late enrollments. As such, my recored has been automatically deffered to the nearest enrollement date which is oct/Nov and i was informed abt the issuance of a new coe in few days.
I'm really divaststed and confused right now as to what next to do.
Could i go to autralia now work before study commence in nov?

I know people who have come here earlier and they have also worked. Please before you call the immegration to spoil your matter. Chill first when it's 2 months you can come. It takes time to settle down trust me. If you have a couple of months before school then you are lucky. It will give you time to get necessary documents needed for work.so oga u can come your visa says u can travel so you can. School may start.

You can contact them and some who are kind enough could reserve the place and if you dnt like it when you see it you can decide not to pay or move out after knowing your way around.

Am looking at bringing pepper, my spices are commercially packed in their packs and labelled. Can the egusi, ogbono and crayfish be blended and put in lylon. Also some dried vegetables is it possible to bring them too. How do i commercially pack my pepper and veggies though they are in small quantities.
Pls is red oil possible. For the stock fish will a packaged and sealed one be accepted?

Do not bring im seeds or fruits. All food must be professionally or commercially packaged.
You must declare on your passengers card on arrival. Usually your passenger card is given to you by your airline 3-6hours before touching ground.
When asked by immigration, confidently explain to them what foods you have. Blend ur egusi, ogbono and crayfish.
Do not bring stocked fish unless its commercially packaged.
Tell us other things yoh wish to bring in and we can advise further.

Please house... For those in australia already. I am quite confused on food stuff i am allowed to carry. Please if there are items u feel i am not allowed to carry please i will be pleased to know beforehand. Please.

Check cheapflights.com, mytrip.com for cheap flights, you can also try south African airline. A friend got a fair deal to Melbourne from Lagos through Etihad airways for #435k going on 30th of this month.

If you have any contact there in austrailia or anyother country you can beg them to helo you transfer the fubds to the school then you will pay them in naira. Thats what i did. I oayed to a friend in australia naira and they paid the fees for me kos my form A delayed a lot.

I had about 5.3 mil. But ypur tuition,city also is a deciding factor. If your tuition is higher and your city is stated as an expensive. The expectations on the statement of account is more. However; God can make any thing happen for you and maybe in your favor.

The visa fee is about 168k depending on the bank rate I mean for example how Gtbank charge for master card payments online.

It should be about 135k online but trust gtbank card will take way higher dn dt . However d card did not work. I called a friend from usa tp pay with his card which went tru one tym.
Then i will balance with the equivalent from USD to AUD

Congrats dear, did you submit any English test result?

I submitted all documents, masters and undergraduate, plus transcript. Medicals was 37,300 naira. Visa fee was 557Aud.
