Your form is ok. The problem is you are accessing the file using it's absolute location(C:......) instead of the webserver(localhost) location. I mean, if the website is running, then you should access your form using the url http://localhost/play/form.html Only then will your webserver process your php request. A7: |
You should start as a reseller. You can not be a registrar as of now; at least not until you've registered some hundreds if not thousands of domain names already and have some thousands of dollars to spare with ICANN. Anyway, you can try with resellerclub.com or resell.biz. Most of the big "registrars" in Africa are their resellers. If you can abide by the commitment fee (or starting income) you can contact me and I will help you out. |
You should likewise compare your header code with what @graphicplus has posted. If your css is not working at all, then you might be missing a closing tag. For example if you declare an html4 doctype <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">you should check the closing ">. If it's not there, that might affect your other heading tags. |
Ha, am i the only one who is confused here? In web design business, whether a CEO of a big web design company or a freelancer with small job, review is review. @graphicplus did a perfect review not criticism. I am shock why anybody will see that as a criticism. From my ten years in the business, I think review is not about giving only applause, but also getting the best out of your existing project through flaw indications; which in this case @graphicplus showed a perfect example of that. I'll advice @GreenMouse do these postings at market places and not for review, since he's only interested in advertising and not workarounds. I admire his review. Keep it up. Some of us pay for such review. Thank him instead of rebuking him. |
It's just full of images and flash, like a 1996 website, just with a little bit good pixel image. Why not replace the images with some text and the flash with jquery instead. That could make it a little modernized. little analysis The website has 3 documents embedded in the homepage in a form of iframe 44 images 14 scripts 4 stylesheets (total size of 243K) ![]() In all, the designer focused on look and not performance. I guess they hired a graphic designer and not a web designer |
It's kind of funny why two of the listed so called "web designers" websites does not even have an title tag. No website name. The person who designed the perfect visual should at least do himself a favor by calling it "worst visual". In that case, no one will blame them for the poor choice of color ![]() |
To use a free template, you must abide by the terms and conditions; which sometimes sucks. Well, we can think of hidden agenda, but I for one design free templates to increase my reputation. There is absolutely nothing wrong with using such templates, just that you will need to completely modify it to look different from dozens of websites already committing such template. If you are a pro, you will know that that ain't worth the time. Use it just for inspiration and nothing else. |
Ok. You guys are doing great. But the problem is, the real name of the virus is not always the same for everyone unless you use an antivirus to detect it. I can even change the name of a virus before infecting your pc with it so that you might get more confuse than you're already are. Use usb disk security when the virus stops you from installing an antivirus. Then scan your pc from the net using any antivirus. That will be good if you don't want to format your disk. But when the virus destroys your system to the extend of modifying the system files, then the best option is to format |
You need to add extra information. What type of virus is that and how did it do that. I think I might be able to help. By the way, the fact that you are not able to format it means its not your computer that is not having the problem but the hard disk. It will be normal if you replace the disk. But to repair, I know this kind of virus that was coded in dos format so that it can even work when you're not in GUI mode. If that is the case and the drive is now write protected as it always does to pen drives, then you need to visit the manufacturers web site. They often have tools for formating such write protect drive or try to unlock it if it has that function. Search for a switch on it and change the direction. Or maybe try to use windows set up to format your drive |
