one could have glaucoma and still have standard vision (6/6) as peripheral vision is usually affected first and not central vision (giving u a 6/6 vision now). if not properly managed, central vision would become affected in the later stage. good it was discovered early. with that high pressure record and the much difference in pressure reading between the two eyes initially makes it a high suspicion of glaucoma. a visual field analysis /Oct may be needed to establish the suspicion as a true glaucomatous case but most likely, it is.

what stage of glaucoma is this,also if patient follow up with medication and check up from this stage is there any need to panic that one might loss his vision in the near future.
since one is having normal pressure range if one continues the medication is there any harm if it becomes too low(eye pressure).

please doctor how can one conclude that glaucoma has set in, am confuse.

eye pressure 17 and 19 irrespectively, although two weeks back it was measuring 41 and 29 left n right eye. after some medication it dropped.
can read clearly small letters during eye test.
so tell me please is the optic nerve damage, is this glaucoma.

have not done hormonal test and others but is it possible to have a normal circle with out ovulating,am curious.
am not on any vitamins.

hi there , loosing vision in glaucoma is usually gradual and without the person being aware (as the side vision is usually affected first). management of glaucoma needs follow up by the doctor as the goal is to bring the eye pressure to a point that there wouldn't be further loss of vision and this target pressure varies from one individual to another. she would need to adhere to the recommended medication, dosage and keep to her appointments so the doc can always ascertain if the recommended drugs are bringing down the pressure to the target and if there is a progression of the disease . it's usually managed throughout life and with your eye doc involved all through. if she keeps to her meds and appointments, she'll be fine and her vision preserved but if she doesn't, I fear for her vision. most Nigerians are usually careless because the disease is symptomless , they in d long run discontinue meds and do not come for checkups only to show up when they are near blindness or blind from the disease and the painful thing is that the vision lost cannot be recovered . though some docs are to blame for this as they most time fail to educate their patients on the nature of the disease hence the carelessness by most patients out of ignorance .

Those surgery cure glaucoma or those surgery help eye pressure to become there by making one worry free about vision.
What if someone has lost his vision a bit, can lens medication be use for clearer vision.

Hello Doc. I would like to know if someone diagnosed with a glaucoma on the early stage,can use glasses to avoid sunlight and for perfect vision.
She always experience high pressure in the eye say 41m and 29m can she loses her sight all of a sudden or its a gradual process. If she is on medication is there any reason to panic over vision lost.
Remember the person still have her vision intact.

I had to ask this question because it seems God doesn't care at all... I have so many problems that I won't wish my worst enemy and they have affected me academically.

I'm so depressed that I wish myself death at times. I always think about any little/unnecessary things, I lack confidence.

This started about 10 years ago when I realized that I had a mother tongue (which is not supposed to be a problem actually) and this made me too shy to talk in public especially.

The mother tongue is: using L and N interchangeably sometimes, but later on I was able to rectify it( that is,being able to differentiate them)....Actually I don't know how this developed into a big problem... it may sound funny but it has caused me much depression,thinking it might not just be a mother tongue.

The worst is that I masturbate and my heart is always beating fast(I think I'm sick ). I have masturbated for about 10 years as well.My life is far from being okay.Depression is killing me and I always think that God will not help me because I'm not righteous.

God had confidence in job and he found him perfect, even when Satan suggested that it was because of all that God has provided for Job(wealth, family, peace,good health and the rest) that was why God permitted Satan, If you think is because of those things then take them all but you are not permitted to touch life.
Job did not fail God and he was restored after Satan failed.

As a father i don't see anything wrong in giving your children instruction. All parents do for different reasons (test of obedience,loyalty, reliability and lots more). It was an instruction and Adam deliberately disobeyed.

not everybody knows when you collect rents if you don't tell them,because you can receive rent from your tenants anytime of the year depends on when they have cash available to pay in some cases.
also you should know that the rents you receive is your interest not your capital, the property is your capital because property appreciate with time.
my advice to you is to be saving all your rents and then invest it in treasure bills then you have doubled your interest, even if it's small interest rate but in the near future when starts enjoying it I hope you remember.
Am telling you this because am doing same coming year,I just found out about Tbills I have to keep learning more before then,not all that glister are gold.

secure your future with owning a house, having just land is not enough security but just a step, building your own house will give you another perspective of life. Respect to all landlords(not landlord by inheritance)because its hard to build even when you have the cash but more harder when you struggling.
