Hi, how was your AC experience?

ElDeeVee:
My 2 cents for the people going for AC based on my experience in 2015...

There are 3 tasks to be completed in about 4 to 5 hours. First is a 30 minutes essay on why you should be picked ahead of others. Second is like a case study where you present your answer to a panel of 2 to 3 'bahd' guys with follow-up questions from left, right and center. Lastly, you'll be required to work with a team on a task where your teaming ability is tested. In all, you need to be on top of your game to ace the AC. There is a final interview with the Partners if successful at the AC stage.

Peace

Thanks a lot for this.
Btw wah do you mean by 'bahd' guys cheesy ?
Did you mk it to the Partner interview?

Abeg help us ask tomorrow, if there will still be another batch for AC as was for the case of the test. It seems like almost nobody was picked for AC.

I have mine 'supposedly' scheduled for next week.
Just wanted to know those scheduled for tomorrow along with samuel3818

Hello @everyone awaiting Cardinalstone call/invite.

I want to clarify some doubts and answer some questions that have been bothering me after the test. There was a space on the answer sheet for us to fill in the Question set or type. My verbal question sheet had K on it (hand written though) I didn't see any on the quantitative question sheet. I didn't bother to fill anything.

Could this have affected my test? Are the questions the same for everyone?

Neither success/invite mail nor regret mail has been sent.

I just tire joor.

I think the questions were basically same for everyone, mine too was a 'type K' Verbal, nd no type for the Numerical.

I think the problem is that most of these companies aren't quite ready to recruit massively, prolly cos of the economic situation of the country nd all...

Just keep hope alive nd do your thang, Cheers.

Some notes to share from what we were told 2 weeks ago.The MD was rambling a lot but If i remember correctly, he said last time 5000 applied, 140-150 wrote test and 30 passed test and 11 were given offers and 8 were hired. I want to put this company out of my mind. Because its a basic test. If we pass or fail you should be informed in less than 2 days. Unacceptable to have someone be hopeful for months over a test..

lol cheesy I wrote the test some weeks back and got a success mail indicating that further info will be communicated regarding the assessment centre...... I hv been waiting since then This is contrary to claim by HR guy of an expeditious schedule (he said the process won't take more than a month or so)

I guess the economic situation of the country might be partly responsible for the delay

Hello everyone, I wrote the NFL test and passed, got an interview invite yesterday stating 9:00am today but I had to request for a reschedule and it was granted. Now, the interview is next week.

Please who has attended the interview, how did it go, is it one-on-one interview or panel, what are the likely questions to come across?

Thanks a lot.

And the rest I couldn't mention...

Its a panel interview. Mine was quite brief.
Just have prepared answers to basic interview questions n you'll be fine.

Tip; the white man is the decision maker

BTW what did you study?

Anyone wrote at huntsville 5;30pm yesterday? Well I did. Was a funny experience for me. This is my first time writing such a test. Man there were so many people. What!!! The girls on the queue behind me were funny. They were discussing about boyfriends, MMM, marriage and the frustrating feeling of never going pass the testing stage of these kind of tests.

Interesting experience for me. Let's see how it goes from here.

Lol..AMEBO tongue
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: 2016 Firstbank Graduate Trainee Programme by veronica23: 9:01pm On Dec 13, 2016
Phew....what a hectic day cry
The test was cool...Mine went like;

Verbal- not enough time, had to guess the last 3 or 4 questions lipsrsealed 20 mins

Numerical- was okay, pie chart and gmat questions. Just enough time 2 to finish (20 mins for 20 questions)

Analytical - practise Logical deductions and alphabet series.... it's relatively easy buh kinda tricky

Last Section was General Knowledge- this was by far the easiest for me, excess time. I guessed like kilode.. grin

My advice: read on Nigerian economy, government policies, elections, Capital markets, bank operations, Sports ...in fact just read anything NIGERIA , the questions are quite 'General'.

I had fun, made new friends and I hope I get called for the next stage.
Success guys

I see that you guys are dealing out the questions out of solidarity. What foolishness! later, when they score higher marks and are selected and you guys are not, you begin to blame it on nepotism and village witches. whether you agree with me or not, this is a competition and not a fun fair. Be wise and accept this unpleasant truth.
Solomon...you just couldn't resist the urge to lash out on them. Do you think there's any infant here angry
