Subsidywise20:The last time I checked, people's complaints and angst against PMB were not fictitious, which means the people were not indecorous and PMB was wrong in banning Twitter. Come on, direct your mention to petty people like you. |
Reno should be made to understand that freedom of speech does not negate decorum. He caused whatever that might have befallen him. He who comes into equity must come with clean hands. |
Wike and co should be ashamed of themselves. No one betrayed him, instead his greed and stupidity did. The fact that given the opportunity he will be glad to accept a VP position from Atiku means that he does not even believe in the Southern cause. More so, the fact that he thought that his donations to Gov Diri and others alike would have automatically given him the right to own their liberty and dominion shows that he is stupid. He has always been too clever by half. |
Are they not subjugable, yes; are they intolerant, no. If it weren't that you are an insincere person, you should have known that someone that lives in a glass house ought not to be caught throwing stones at others. |
Fake news! |
Realist12:Kwankwanso did not start NNPP, not the same NNPP that is more than twenty years and founded by Dr Boniface Aniebonam. So, your "Kwankwanso started a party and the party is gaining ground in the north." is nonsense. One can't help but marvel at the foolishness of someone like you, who despite obviously know next to nothing is always quick to disgrace yourself because you want to be noticed and counted as one of the haters of anything Igbo. Other nonsense you wrote about the Igbos does not deserve attention and can only be liked by inconsequential effs like you. |
Festus just wants to be in the news for the mere sake of being heard; else, he would have known that such conjecture and others were used colloquially. The fact remains sacrosanct; that is, a candidate, especially a vice presidential candidate, can be substituted within the stipulated time legally. |
Without any intent to malign and undermine Obi and Labor Party, Ezenwa has never been a factor in Owerri Zone politics, even as a sitting senator, and he has never realistically been an Ihedioha man. In fact, barring any last minute disappointment, APC, rather than PDP or LP, will win Owerri Zone senatorial seat in 2023. Ezenwa mainly decamped to LP because he was summarily beaten in the PDP primary. Of course, I know that Obi's factor and effect can still do magic for him, though, if the game is well played, never say never in politics. |
Just say that a certain Chikwem Onuoha, who by the way almost has no electoral value in his ward not to talk of the whole state, led some other members of PDP and APC to LP. |
VIKTO83:Some of you like disseminating wrong information out of ignorance. Which election did Ojukwu win in the Igbo region? |
The joke is on you and anyone who has failed to see beyond the mere temporary presentation of Doyin Okupe to INEC as a stand-in running mate until the coast is clear to present a proper running make. |
You deserve a resounding slap citing your double standard as follows: H.E. Atiku has lost it already. . . "H.E. Okowa betrayed other southern governors to become VP." To overcome this, "he would had been picked H.E. Wike as VP." So, if Wike had emerged a VP candidate, that would not have amounted to betrayal to the South, but amount to betrayal because another person did. Lol. |
Nonsense. I might not be a fan of Peter Obi and I might in no way support violence against anyone, but Reno should stop being a hypocrite. He goes about abusing others directly and indirectly through goading, gaslighting, denigration, etc, and turns around to cry murder when some of his victims and opponents decide to return the same energy to him in the same manner but on their own terms and ways. |
Aisha is not informed. Ekiti Labor Party chapter's decision to collapse its governorship structure (not seriously participate) in support for APC there was taken days ago, even without PO's consent, which is why he went ahead with his travel plan to Egypt. |
simplyhonest:Common sense ought to have let you know that the Ekiti Labor Party chapter's decision to collapse its governorship structure in support for APC there was not taken today and that PO and co have more information than you and your co neophytes do. |
seunmsg:Come on, get out of my mention and look for your petty type elsewhere; always pretending, living on twisting and denying facts. |
seunmsg:You lots thrive on character assasination, self-righteousness, hypocrisy, greed, etc., yet are always quick to call others haters when they return the same energy to you in different ways. |
seunmsg:People like you are so pathetic: "a character like Orji Uzor Kalu." you said. Point out one thing that Orji Uzor Kalu has done that Tinubu has not done that has made Tinubu a saint in your eyes and Orji Uzor Kalu a character that should be avoided. You lots thrive on character assasination, self-righteousness, hypocrisy, greed, etc., yet are always quick to call others haters when they return the same energy to you in different ways. |
Independent candidacy is an option truly and can work, but it can only work for someone who has a strong financial muscle or ingrained influence on the majority of the electorate; better if the person has both. Unfortunately, Osinbajo has none of these, he is just popular to a meagre fraction among the masses. |
HomoSapiien:You lots are so pathetic: The South West delegates gave all their votes to Tinubu and Osibanjo in their usual tribalistic nature, you and other little things like you did not see anything wrong with that. However, you see everything wrong with the South East delegates that were considerate enough to give at least some votes to both Tinubu and Osinbajo and you called them haters, even when these Yoruba goons got more votes from the same South East delegates than Rochas and some other contestants from the same zone. And, oh yes, just as the South East votes alone are inconsequential in making someone a president in Nigeria, so also the votes of any other zone alone in the country cannot make someone a Nigerian president. But then, you little things do not know this fact or know but choose to pretend as usual. Little things that always think that they are better or deserve better than others in everything. |
Natural441:He has no reason to be ashamed because the positions he took pre-primary and post-primary align with natural justice. People like you that have no conviction should be the ones to be ashamed of yourselves. |
Ebubu:You are obviously a little boy still eating mama thank you that knows next to nothing. Now run along with little boys and girls like you. |
Ebubu:What is the total of the delegate votes from the South East and compare it with that of other zones and tell me how everyone going tribal and voting along that line will guarantee an Igbo man a win. Elections are win and lost before the election proper. I won't even be surprised that someone like you have not contested ordinary kindred head election least of winning, yet you think you know better than some people who have won everything except the presidential election. |
You and your likes don't get it. Igbos don't play politics of tribalism like other tribes, especially the South Westerns do. And the Igbos request for power isn't based on tribalism but natural justice. The natural justice in this regard is expected to be granted by other zones before the primary election proper, which didn't happen, and that is why the aspirants from the zone did not get good or block votes from the delegates. There is no need to waste a vote that cannot guarantee a winning when it can be used to support a winner or someone with more potential of winning. The earlier you all accept that the Igbos are politically victimized for obvious reasons the better. And yes, power is given and not taken in a clime like Nigeria which is the reason why the Northerns in APC have given the Southerns the opportunity. Before you say that Igbos are emotional, remember that no Igbo man has exhibited the kind of emotion BAT exhibited at Ogun State, and rightly so, when he felt he was being denied his right. Until the majority of the Nigerian power brokers decide to cede power to the Igbos, they won't get it no matter how hard the politicians try. In summary, the inability of the Igbos to clinch federal power has nothing to do with them being ignorant about how to play good politics. I, OUK, and everyone in our camp saw it all before the primary election proper, which is the reason we took the stand we took, and we have no regrets. |
An almost generally accepted consensus candidate is likely to be ratified before 6 PM, barring any unforeseen circumstance. So, we may likely be looking forward to an affirmation rather than voting. |
Old video. |
FalseProphet1:Keep quiet because you don't know anything about politics and the country in general. |
Lawan will carry the day tomorrow because the Northern governors are now playing to the gallery. The APC chairman had the consent of PMB while his meeting with the mentioned governors were ongoing. Now, the Northern masses will issue an ultimatum to delegates from the North to follow the chairman and PMB's directives whether or not the Nothern governors like it, in case the issue result in indirect primary rather than consensus affirmation tomorrow. |
That has been the long-standing arrangement. If the power brokers from both regions succeed in pushing the power shift agenda to the South, Amechi will fly the party ticket with Lawan as his running mate, while otherwise, Lawan will fly the party ticket with Amechi as his running mate. OUK's interest isn't a personal or selfish one, but he would not mind taking the SP seat, he is not too keen about being a vice president. |
christistruth01:Some of you despite being uninformed always try to appear clever. I wonder how any sensible person would say that Orji Uzor Kalu joined APC last year whereas he won his 2019 senatorial election on the same APC. |
Barring any last minute change of mind from PMB, it is as good as a sealed deal. |
Imagine if Tinubu were to be an Igboman, even without exhibiting 1/4 of his current attitude, which is justifiable, you would have seen his supporters and the petty ones from the South West saying that the Igbos are too emotional. |
