homeboy232: if u want to excel in life, it all depends on what u want and how u want to do it, some people are finding it difficult to make it in Canada, USA, UK ,Germany etc...why some are during well and sending money home...if u want to listen to failures, it is very sure that u are going to find it difficult to make it in life, if some people go to Russia and fail, does that mean that u will also go there and fail too....those i met at ndlea office last year are really doing well in russia, most of them left naija since 2007, they know what they want and there purpose to be in Russia, they are Russia big boys, happily married and living fine, most of this guyz just came to renew there papers and go back to Russia permanent stay base on marriage things...dont listen to stupid advice from failures, some people just go to europe without plan and purpose, why some people go with high expectation on arrival, thinking that europe is where u can pick gold...a lizard in naija will always remain a lizard....justwise is doing well in UK, why some who left before him are just there frustrated..
am always happy when people are saying negative things about Russia, because i don't want crowd in Russia....better keep off and apply in other countries and leave Russia for wise men and women.....

most important thing in life is CONTACT, if u have a reliable contact, either in India, naija, Ghana, any part of the world, then u will surely make it...i have a purpose why i want to go to Russia, i know reliable friends who are doing well in India base on sure contacts....if u go to Russia and end up frustrated and fail, running around speeding more money to relocate to another countries..what is chasing u around....are u a politician, u end up as a failure because u don't have any reason to be in Russia, ur silly expectation is too high......who cares.i don't want crowd in Russia, make una better dey run go western Europe, USA and Canada......RUSSIA FEDERATION IS NOT FOR COWARDS AND FOOLISH PEOPLE WHO LACK WISDOM.....my people perish because they lack knowledge, u end frustrated in Russia because u lack knowledge.....

Yes, I have visited Russia before. Poland no, but I know some people who went there.

And to the guy saying you can work there, and you just have to learn the language faster. I tell you yes he is right. Only thing is jobs are things like construction worker, breaking of big stones, or road construction, "gryshik" which means someone who carries heavy loads, in the market or at a site, club bouncer if blacks own the club, etc. All manual labour, and its not like UK where you get paid well. Check their GDP, most of the citizens are poor, do you think they will pay a black man well? If you happen to have money, you can open a shop, but believe me, its difficult and you can lose everything one day. IF the shop owner comes and increases rent by 200%, that's it. Or you could get strapped with a fine for no reason. Also, have you ever tried standing on he street and selling in -30 degrees Celsius? Look I have talked enough. Don't buy the agents bullshit.

Well, you might not like it when i say it, but forget about going to russia. You are not even studying medicine, one of the few courses that's possible to be found in english. The language is difficult and racism is not a joke. So in all don't go to eastern europe. You can do better for your future. Of the countries, you mentioned, poland is the best. Low racism, and a schengen country, so you can move around europe during the holidays.

Ultimately the decision is yours, you can go to russia, but I can bet 99% you will experience a racial attack during your time there, and you'll ultimately know you could have done better.

I just dont know the way forward, maybe education will help us. But at the current rate, it might take decades for us to achieve mass literacy. the funny thing is, the cabals in power wont allow people with better ideas to get there. If you are not "packaging" something for them, your idea can go to hell.

They(whites) do us more harm than good. They might build some factories, and give us some jobs, but see the whole picture. 90% of profits is repatriated back to their countries. In effect, just raping us of our natural resource to build better cities for themselves. Local content law was passed to protect our oil revenues, but yet? Nigerian fronts, corrupt officials and nothing has changed.

It makes me sad the way Nigerians always criticize and look down on themselves. I was just reading a story about a yahoo guy who got caught. For the record, what he did was wrong and he should go to jail. I was however shocked to find the discussion moving to how blacks are the worst people on earth and whites are the good ones. In particular this message nearly made me cry:

How can someone with some intelligence say that? Just watching the documentary "INSIDE JOB", you'll see how the whites (bankers) fooled the entire world and got away scot free. Bailouts and bonuses. Someone even had the audacity to say its the black bankers, citing one Ghanaian banker caught for illegal betting. do you look on our roads? Whites have got us by the balls. We buy their iPads, range rovers, phones, clothes, what do we make ourselves? Our factories are bought by them; and locked up, to ensure we continue patronizing them. Aided with our corrupt officials, any effort made by well meaning people are sabotaged. We cant refine oil, we import rice, fish etc. A common practice now when making contract presentations is to hire white people (models) to boost the profile of your company. The whites are told to reply quickly and speak in a strong accent. The committee members nod their heads, and refuse to ask too many questions not to look stupid. This is true, ask around. Sad I know, but it gets results.

Please, the mature ones here, what is the way forward?
