Please I need the advice of informed, experienced and intelligent people on this forum.

I have two job offers before me and I must make a choice between them immediately. Below is little information about the two positions.

1. EXAMINATIONS OFFICER AT BRITISH COUNCIL
This is a graduate position at the starter level of Pay Band 4 with a monthly net pay a little above N200k. The following are my points of attraction to this position:
(a) The organization has a world-class reputation
(b) The working environment is world-class and very ICT complaint.
(c) Location advantage.
(d) 13th and 14th month salaries with good pension plan.
(e) Probation period is 3 months.

Despite the above, I have some reservations which includes that the position is a junior staff position and it is an indefinite contract.


2. ASSISTANT REGISTRAR AT WAEC
This is an experienced and international position at grade level 9. The monthly net pay may be less than that of British Council above. My attractions to this position are:
(a) The reputation of the organization.
(b) The position is international and senior.
(c) The job security and the fact that it is permanent/full-time.
(d) Sure of growth and future.

But despite the above too, my reservations include that the pay may be less than that of BC and that it may not come with as much exposure as the BC.

Please, advise me on which to go for and why.

That 200k that British Council wants to pay you is rat change compared to what you will be collecting in waec as an Assistant Registra. Take the waec job and you will thank me later for this advice.

Let her write through her school to the Head of National Office, Waec Yaba for remarking of her script. It should be done not later than six months after release of results

From what I heard from a Waec official, the exam body don't really do fair marking. They intentionally mark certain states higher than some other states. For instance, Lagos state has the highest marking criteria and that simply means when a student in Lagos gets a C, another student in a state like kano or borno with the same raw score will be graded with an A.
This is simply the reason why you will see schools in some states getting all As and they can't defend it in post UME.
Post UME to me is a true test for a potential undergraduate academic ability.

I don't think there are issues with d plate number per say. I called the guy and he explain to me that the first plate number was d number he bought the car with and he wanted to sell d car then. That was 7 month ago but he eventually did not sell again so he had to register it on his name that's the reason for the change in plate number. I think its a good car though. If I am chanced I may go and pick it up. Is just dat I am not in Lag at the moment.

Back to the topic; Madam do not marry him, not because he is not suitable for you, but rather you are not psychologically mature for marriage.
