@vic4vi

Thank for the info, wat kind of docs do I need 2 show family ties, i'm just completin my NYSC on tuesday, I'm not working yet and my dad (which is my sponsor) is a lecturer in uk, he doesn't leave in Nigeria.

Pls advice
Thanks
is your whole family in the Uk? If no then you can show family photographs including birth certificates.
Also if your father have land, house, even shares in Nigeria you have to present them also.
You also need to explain that your course will be valuable to Nigeria on return.
Other veteran in house can add.

Well all is not out of hand yet, there  is a lot of room for improvment.
Bar the goal ramsey scored i dont think he really added anything both offensively and defensively.
Coquelin was briliant today also i dont know if others noticed how briliant he was today.
Arteta, what more can i say, other than briliant aswell, only hope wilshere return fast and patner this guy, a great player i would say. Saw him always shouting when need be.
Overall not bad but we could be better.

Pls, I want 2 inquire if this won't hav any effect on d canadian study permit.

I ve all my documents already :

acceptance letter from the institution
Paid the commitment fee
Statement of account
Letter from the professor that I ll be staying with (home stay)
WAEC Certificate
Undergraduate Transcript from my university
Bsc certificate for the university I grad from
Statement of result for the high school that I grad from
Birth certificate
Cert of origin from local gov
Police cert from ikoyi police hq
NYSC certificate (which I ll be collecting on tuesday)
And of course my international epassport which I was denied uk visa

Pls advice me on wat 2 add to my doc list or remove.

Thanks
Ayoola
you need to show proof that you will return after your studies. You therefore need to add docs showing family tie, employment, landed property etc.
Cheers

@debolabi
you do not need the Malaysia school to write them.
First, toefl is required only if English is not you primary languae or language of instruction.
But in Nigeria, English is our official laguage and also our primary language of instruction so you just have to write the school telling them you have been receiving instruction in English for more than 10 years now that is from primary to Post-secondary.
This be have to be well writen ofcourse. This will suffice.
Ciao

But our parents said all these prayers in 1960 and you are taking over from where they stopped and probably teach your children to continue from where you will stop and the likes of OBJ,Atkiu,IBB,Bankole and their children and great-grand children will continue from where their parents stopped.
Religion can blind some people in Nigeria
Shall we then lose faith in Nigeria? For your information every country wether US or Canada had trying times but never gave up and that is why they are were they are today.
Believe me Nigeria will never be great if we dont believe in it.
God bless Nigeria!

Today is 51st independence of Nigeria
let us pray for,

A new Nigeria with God fearing peoples instead of religious extremists, cranks and appologists

A new Nigeria were bribery and coruption, unemployment, poor infrastructural development and over-dependence on oil sector will be a thing of the past.

A new Nigeria were poor work ethics, citizens hatred, dissatisfaction and diaffection for government and also corporate and large scale irresponsibility will be gone for good.

A new Nigeria were inadequate funding for educational, health and other important sector will be remembered no more.

A new Nigeria were poor quality, fake and substandard goods and services will never be heard of anymore.
Were Nigerians will embrace our own products instead of overdependence on imported products.

A new Nigeria were capital, financial and all other institutions will properly regulated.
Were our leaders will earn their positions through hardwork and dedication instead of living on hope, chance and luck.

A new Nigeria were tribal, ethnic and religious squabbles will come to an end.
Were i can enter any state in Nigeria without the fear of boko haram, militants kidnappers, ritualists etc.

Were hunger and poverty, homelesness, insecurity, disregard for human and property, armed robbery, pen robbery etc will never come to mind again.

A new Nigeria were excellence will be our watchword and mediocrity shut out.
Were we will measure power supply by 6,000 hours of non stop supply instead of 6000MW.

Above all, A Nigeria with new nigerians,
who will not call their president names,
who will see each other as one,
who will argue inteligently without resorting to insult,
who will accept and correct each others view and opinion with meekness, reverence and humility,
who will think as worthy, patriotic, loyal and proud citizens of NIGERIA.

That Nigeria is here, it starts from you and me.

Happy 51st Indepence celebration!
Make sure you Say

@iso-savvy thanks for your reply. Did you say -30 and counting hmm thats terrible oh, i have actually researched on the two cities am considering and since 1994 the temperature hasn't gone below -10'C but the thought anything minus still scares me. Anyway thanks once again for your response.
Other vetran in house please here is the question.
vic4vi:
Just wondering how people cope with the cold in canada.
I am considering Uvictoria BC or Mcmaster Hamilton for Msc Biochemistry next year fall.
Lived all my life in temperature of about 28'C to 40'C (in the north).
Naijans who are in canada how easily can one adjust to extreme temp of below 10'C to -10'C because the tought of this really scares me.
Also what is the postgraduate employment scenario for some one with a research based Msc Biochemistry from Uvic or Mcmaster,
finally is it possible to get job at a province different from the province of your university.
Thanks all in anticipation.
