Am I the only one observing the lamentations of PDP e-rats here? In the last sixteen years, they were okay with the way PDP government was directing their affairs but now they want bubu to perform magic. They are even angry with APC government for exposing how massively their beloved party, pdp and party members wrecked the nation and by extension, their lives.
These lamentations show that you guys were not as lucky as those guys who cornered millions and billions of naira during the years of looting by PDP, lol. Because as far as I can see, the only thing that is binding on all Nigerians is the Nigerian constitution which is currently useless to use to build /figjt corruption. Especially when it covers efcc dss icpc and the rest.

All I am saying is for the president to be on track, the constitution should be amended with the same law for everybody no matter the party affiliation. Anything short of this is a waste of time because nothing is really cast in stone.

This article reminds of many weeks before last presidential election. A lot of writers were paid money to write against Buhari but we will never succumb to all the cheap blackmail. Are you saying you have enjoyed 15 hours light under Jonathan before he left the govt? No matter what you guys write here, PMB remains the best president this country has ever produced and we need him right now to clean all the dirty things previous govt have been doing, especially the immediate past administration. God Almighty will give him good health and long life for this assignment.

Are u saying this is best he can do to fight corruption on paper? if u think Buhari is as good as you imagine, he should AMEND the Nigerian Constitution and that will automatically address corruption. So far, Nigeria is just on a merry go round. i voted for him, but dont expect this because it is yielding nothing.

Tell me if I am wrong. There are steps to make things better and everybody will applaud Buhari. But so far he is a disappointment, Amend the Nigerian Constitution first then the rest will be easy.

Last I checked, the constitution is too weak to address corruption and this his 4 yrs of blatant brigandry will be wasted once a new party comes onboard. Even the clueless one tried to raise a constitutional conference

I actually like this news for a couple of reasons. PDP folks are rejoicing at this ruling, this is a ruling by a court in Nigeria where Buhari is still president. It means court rulings after this too should be accepted and celebrated like this. With this ruling no one is chanting #TyrantBuhari #BuhariDecides, so abeg when your hero yam eaters start going to jail, let's keep it this way.

Very wrong insinuation. I understand the Cardinal's worries but this statement goes too far and loses sense. How else can the war against corruption be fought to achieve better than this. Accused people are in court as far as I know and that some information sneak into media is only testament to good journalism which the President encouraged. So as far as the anti-corruption war is concerned, I know for sure that this administration is on course. My only problem with the war is that we are still too slow because of the courts, we should be moving faster as far as I am concerned, and the fact that the Cardinal failed to acknowledge the good in this war which is for all Nigerians rubbishes the statement for me.

There is a short and long way of carrying out some functions. The president has decided to follow the long way. He should amend the constitution which will be armed to reduce corruption and also take care of the Judiciary. So far, Buhari has not started anything.

Dele Momodu, I have no doubt admired your writing ability but at the same time, your reasoning intellect seems to be unconvincing. Contrary to the erroneous believe that APC won the last election due to Nigerians' disenchantment with Jonathan's administration, the following were the underlining factors that led to Buhari's victory;
1. The North desperately wanted power back to their base and having realised such feat could not be effected through PDP (with the party sticking with a Southerner, who was the sitting president), they decided to pitch tent with the then opposition as a willing platform.
2. If the PDP had fielded a northern candidate in the last election, no degree of alliance, chorus of change or APC grandstanding would have led to the opposition's victory.
3. Even sitting northern PDP governors in solidarity with the desire for a power shift, subtly worked against their own party. They supported PDP during the day but worked for APC during the night.
In conclusion, no one should be flabbergasted with happenings in the APC nowadays, there's nowhere in the world where an assembly of dissidents and angry people last long. The same token of propaganda, deceits, outright lies and mischiefs with which they rode to power, is the one turning back to steer them in the face. In other words, APC is reaping what it sowed. The singular aim of forming APC was to hijack power back to a particular bloc and not for the interest of Nigerians.

PMB is just being diplomatic about it,but its certain Saraki's fuckup would be treated someday,somehow,immunity or not.
The emergence of Saraki is not the issue per se,but him alligning with d PDP to produce a deputy president and a "majority leader" in David Mark is unheard of,treacherous and a disrespect to the party and its other members.
If Saraki had been elected by d full house,just as Dogara was,it wouldn't have been a problem, but to deceive not just other members but the president and get elected mainly by d opposition,is to say d least treacherous.
