Doyin To Cross — We've all been f00led by Ilebaye, she has been playing a game with all of us.
I believe it's too late, because the viewers have already made her the winner.
WhiteMoney was the first person to tell me about it, but I thought it was a joke.

Cross: I'm 33 and she's 22... How did we not see it, how was she able to play us all ??

You should be used to our elections by now.people say what they don't mean.once money and govt machinery lands, things change
The only thing that's likely to affect Ododo is the spread, but you see popular votes, forget it. Another prediction I see is the runoff election. It will be difficult for all the political parties in Kogi to meet the required spread. Which is 25% in 14 LGA now. Only APC is likely to, but I don't see it getting the majority votes.

In the case of runoff between Ododo and Muri, Muri will send Ododo to the Dustin.

How can an Okun man vote Ebira when it's supposed to be their turn? Hmmmm... If APC see 5% of vote cast in the west, then they tried. It seems like you don't know what's happening oooo. Igala people are saying with one voice that they will not allow minority be dominating them where they are clearly the majority. Na pure tribal politics they are playing in Kogi state now.

garfield1:
That's how 2019 kogi election happened where we thought all igalas are behind wada..the issue is that ododo will get good votes from kogi west but muri cannot get outside igalaland thereby misding the spread.
Let me tell you something, Yahaya bello pronounced publicly that he will hand over to an Igala man in 2023, before the big men in APC were able to help him get some votes. Edward was instrumental, because he's highly notorious with thuggery. He's even more ruthless than Bello sef. He made sure he suppressed their votes there and inflate Ebira votes in order to win. But with Onoja out and hiding already (because Igala people are still blaming him for denying their son last time because of mere promise), BVAS in place and security apparatus being neutral, I can bet any amount that Muri will thrash Ododo. No need to argue much, I will be here to remind you. Except Tinubu eventually decides to support Ododo, otherwise Bello and Ododo are goners already.

UIUX:
That has been Gov. Bello's strategy. Sponsor more igala candidates to devide the block vote from Kogi east but that is clearly not working.
It's not working oooo. Now, if you are supporting another Igala man that's not Muri, they will see you as a traitor. How much more supporting an Ebira man. Muri willl get over 80% of votes from Igala land.
PoliticsRe: Kogi Guber: Five Parties Collapse Structure For APC Candidate Ododo by vicdom(m): 9:46am On Jul 30, 2023
garfield1:
I won't argue with you since he's a tinubu man from acn.i can feel his popularity.i prefer him or echocho any igala candidate than ododo.the problem is that most of the candidates are igala and will divide votes.i don't think echocho will defy bello
Trust me, before I make any political permutations, I would have understudied the events of things. Tinubu is not happy with Yahaya bello, I can tell you that. He gave Tinubu conditions before supporting him in the last election.

You see that type of support Igbos gave to Obi in the presidential election, that's what's going to happen by Nov. Muri will get over 80% of vote cast there, and with BVAS, Okene will not produce over 120k votes it produced during Bello's second term. The vote cast reduced drastically from over 120k in 2019 to now 23k in 2023, all thanks to BVAS.

Ask yourself why Yahaya bello is seriously after Muri? Initially, people thought that Bello would have gone so hard on Dino, but it's not happening. His focus is on Muri before of the large votes coming from igala land. I have never seen any Igala man that's not supporting Muri now, both from PDP and APC. Expect over 80% votes cast for Ajaka in igala land.

Melaye's humiliation will start from aiyetoro gbede
If Tinubu remains neutral come Nov, Muri Ajaka will be next Gov of Kogi state. Even Yahaya Bello knows this, that's why he's jittering already. And as for Dino, Bello doesn't see him at all. Muritala is a serious threat to Yahaya bello. After election, quote me here. Ajaka has even been Tinubu's man since the days of ACN. Feelers are saying that it was Tinubu that told him to go and contest under the SDP. All the strong Igala politicians in APC are silently backing Muritala now. From Echocho to Onoja. Guy, Muri will humiliate Bello if Tinubu remains neutral. I will be here to remind you after the election.

Video Of Tinubu Promising Fuel Price Reduction Resurfaces Online Amid Hike

A viral video of President Bola Tinubu campaigning to reduce the price of fuel upon his assumption as president has surfaced online.

Tinubu at his campaign rally in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, on January 25, 2023, could be heard in the video promising the crowd an easier life under his leadership. The President spoke in the Yoruba language.

On Tuesday, The PUNCH reported another hike in fuel price to N617 from N197, two months since the removal of fuel subsidy by the President upon being sworn into office on May 29, 2023.

Tinubu in his inaugural speech, announced the removal of fuel subsidy, a move that resulted in fuel being sold at N537 per litre barely two days after he ended the subsidy.

Speaking in Yoruba, Tinubu during the rally in Abeokuta, could be heard assuring the crowd that although people believed the petrol price would hit N200, it would actually be reviewed and the price reduced as leader of the nation.

"The great Nigerian youths, the great Nigerian students, the confident Nigerian youths. This is a revolution. This election is a revolution. They are plotting, but they will fail. They said fuel prices will increase and reach N200/N500 per litre. Go and relax, we will crash the prices."

"They don’t want this election to be held. They want to sabotage it (elections). Will you allow them?”, Tinubu asked his supporters who responded with a resounding "No."

"Even if they said there is no fuel, we will trek to vote. They have a lot of mischief; they could say there is no fuel. They have been scheming to create a fuel crisis but forget about it.

“Relax, I, Asiwaju, have told you that the issue of fuel supply will be permanently addressed. Whoever wants to eat the honey embedded in a mountain won’t worry about the axe. Is that not so? And if you want to eat palm kernel, you would bring stone and use it to break it, then the kernel will come out. It’s not easy to…

“Let them increase the price of fuel, only them know where they have hoarded fuel, they hoarded money, they hoarded naira; we will go and vote and we will win. Even if they changed the ink on naira notes. Whatever their plans, they will come to naught. We are going to win. Those in the PDP will lose (won ma lule).

“I am a homeboy, I have come here, you will not be put to shame, we will take over the government from them, the traitors who wanted to contest with us. They had no experience.”

Politics10th NASS Leadership: APC, Tinubu Allegedly Back Out Of Akpabio’s Endorsement by vicdom(op): 8:53am On Jun 01, 2023
Strong indications, yesterday, suggested that the candidacy of former Senate Minority Leader, Senator Godswill Akpabio, may have hit a brick wall as President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is said to have withdrawn his support for him in the contest for the Senate President in the 10th National Assembly.

Recall that the All Progressives Congress, APC, had announced the endorsement of Senator Godswill Akpabio and three others for the topmost positions in the National Assembly.

Senator Akpabio from South-South was endorsed for Senate president, Senator Jubrin Barau from North-West for Deputy Senate President, Tajudeen Abass, North-West for speaker, House of Representatives and Kanu, South-East, for deputy speaker.

This did not, however, go down well with some members of the party, especially those aspiring for the position of presiding offices in both the Senate and the House of Representatives, following the protests and condemnation that trailed the party’s endorsements.

It was gathered yesterday that senators, mainly from the South West, have called for a meeting for tomorrow, where they would take a decision to work towards reviewing their position on choice of leadership of the Senate.

According to a senator from one of the states in the South West, the meeting is for senators from the zone to know the outcome of a crucial meeting of the leading tendency among the senators-elect scheduled for Thursday which they have strategically asked some of their members to attend.

President Bola Tinubu is said to have heeded the advice of his trusted political allies by tacitly withdrawing his support for the former governor of Akwa Ibom State, Senator Godswill Akpabio.

The President, sources said, was resolute in running a corruption-free government, with emphasis on strengthening all the existing policies and institutions concerned with anti-corruption towards achieving this goal.

In his inaugural speech, Tinubu declared pointedly that his government would take” proactive steps such as championing a credit culture to discourage corruption, while strengthening the effectiveness and efficiency of the various anti-corruption agencies.”

With this statement, the source said ”most of us have come to the full realization of the fact that President Bola Tinubu would not for anything support any senator with myriads of cases of corruption in the anti-graft agencies after declaring before the world that he would strengthen and make them more effective.”

A senator from one of the state in the S-West confided in Vanguard: “We have seen the follies in remaining in this camp, it will not work. We have fixed a meeting for Thursday where we are going to chart our next line of action.”

However, the Director General for the Akpabio/Barau Stability Group, Senator Ali Ndume, APC, Borno South, said in his reaction to the development yesterday: “It is not surprising that whenever a politically exposed person is contesting elections, some people would be sponsored to raise issues against him or her.

“Don’t forget that President Bola Tinubu was also severally accused when he was campaigning to be president.”

“We are not actually bothered about what the sponsored groups are saying about Akpabio, the anti-graft agencies know what to do. Why are they teaching them what to do?

“They are alleging that some corrupt activities took place under his watch at the NDDC but they did not say he misappropriated funds as governor or as minister.

“Akpabio was not the accounting officer of the NDDC, he only supervised the Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs.

“They also accused him of not constituting the board of the NDDC but that also was not his job. The president of the country is saddled with such responsibility.”

Wait, why are you blowing hot and cold? If obi actually won where you said he will win and you include rivers and benue, then obi lost.so why are you making noise about a delusionary mandate?
Stop calling him delusional. You can make your points without going overboard. Remember I told you he was going to take your state, Cross Rivers, and he did. Election is not about emotions or party loyalty, always try and be objective. We all know that Imo election won't happen, because if there would be an election, Hope Uzodimma will fail woefully. I'm not saying that he won't win the election anyways, I'm saying that if election should go smoothly without any interference, he will fail. Remember I told you that Hope and Umahi can never give Tinubu 25%, and it happened. Even though, hope made sure he rigged his LGA for Tinubu, but only one LGA won't make any much impact.
