buyAride: @hotwax + Akainzo:
Reading what both of you have written, counting the number of GRAMMATICAL "GBAGAUN", "Tense-somersaults", e.t.c.... l must say that both of you are a disgrace to the English Language!
if both of you claim to be "University Graduates", then something is terribly wrong with Nigerian Educational System!
None of you two can even compose a single paragraph without spelling errors or putting past tense in place of present tense or just outright structural "gbagaun" in your statements! huh

But since "Grammar" is not the essence of this discussion, we should let it pass (and l hope both of you who are even more guilty of these nonsense, will also let it pass?).

Now, to the real issue: Oroo as a "Cult group" ...and/or Oroo as a "Ritual"?

Truth is both of you are RIGHT!

Oroo (that word) can be used to reference a "Cult Group" ..which actually it is.
That is why it is not open to every one, does it things in secret or at Night and has specific ways of doing its activities.

Oroo (that word) can also be used to reference the series of "activities", (called Rituals by 'closed groups') performed by such group in carrying out their intentions.
That "activity" which they do at night... (at times its done in day time if its just a 'repetitive, preventive, general cleansing of the environment but when more "difficult tasks" (which may involve life and blood) are being tackled, it is usually done at night) .... and you hear the sound of the Oroo (I still have my the apparition we 'they' swirl around to make that "vuuuu. ...vuuuuuvuuuumm" sound wink O woo'feere, O'ku feere..! ) is called Oroo.
Yes, the ritual/activity is Oroo, as used in that context.

The "closed group" (controlled by the top echelon members of ile oloro family) can be considered a cult... in the grammatical sense and definition of that word.
The group itself is Oroo, in that context. Oroo cult or whatever you want to call it

So my friends, all your arguments are NOT necessary.
Oroo as a word can be used to represent the Group or the Ritual, depending on the context of usage... and both are correct.
Guy, you are funny, wicked and amazing all at once.
What you just said is what I have been thinking to myself all along (though Akainzo is a bit better than his friend IMO)
Amazing: It really amazed me that a guy, well-spoken and well-enlightened as you seem to be, would have anything to do with the said 'oroo' cult.
Used to think(and still do) that they are a bunch of never-do-wells in the society.
I like you very much bro, but I hate that oroo thingy.

ZACHIE: AKAINZO, HOTWAX please, fall in. This thread is waxing cold.
For once, i am enjoying a fight....but, please, leave out the insults.

Oro is a CULT
Oro is not a cult.

Whither the debaters?
I mistakenly slapped my landlord while laughing. was enjoying their argument too. grin

I respectfully beg to disagree with u sir. To me, there's no such thing as a stupid question, there are rather stupid answers.
if u consider a question too cheap for you to answer, skip it and scroll on. Another guy might might be magnanimous enough to answer it. And besides, those u think know it already, might not know it as u think and might be praying silently that someone answers it. (as someone I know would say) Chairs!!,

Got d mail ysterday. There's no big deal in it, it's what 99.9% of us already know. Registering of multiple accounts with droidvpn. that's why I ddnt bother sharing it. though I forwarded to some peeps that showed interest. And I hope they weren't as disappointed as I was whn I initially got it.

Sealeddeal: Pls someone should help me out here.Every day,I will always encounter one problem or another with Droidvpn.I have registered more than 5 email ACCTS but none of them worked since the droidvpn shut me out of connection last night. Pls I need permanent solution to it.
I hope by now ur droidvpn shd be working. Their day starts by 12 noon naija time.
if u reach ur bandwidth limit, evn if u register a million accts, it won't work until 12 noon. so, ur best bet is to log out once u hv clocked 95mb, then clear ur log, and log in with a new acct. I check my own mb with the 3G watchdog app.
hope this helps.

Satellite TV TechnologyRe: Gotv Problem (Many Missing Channels) by VicGoodGuy(m): 3:00pm On Aug 17, 2013
In spite of all it's shortcomings, which I find very frustrating, I still consider it a mortal sin to compare GOtv with Startimes. they are not in the same category and shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence.

yeah Startimes have more channels. but those are a-dozen-for-a-penny channels with programs that are more effective than Valium 5 in sending one to sleep.

I consider Gotv more than value for your money.

Leopantro: Imagine the following scenario. You
leave the office and get in your car
as your device sends a text message
to your spouse letting them know
you are heading home, while any
incoming e-mails or text messages
from your clients are instantly replied
to with a generic “out-of-the-office”
message.
As you begin to approach a local
supermarket, another text message is
sent out to your family asking if
anything is needed to be purchased,
and any replies are read aloud
through the loud speaker.
As you pull in to your driveway, your
handset instantly connects your
home’s Wi-Fi connection. Setting
your phone into a cradle on your
desk automatically adjusts the
volume and starts up your favorite
station on Pandora.

App = Tasker
This tasker of an app sounds So nice o, judging by wht I hv heard pple say abt it. But I dnt think It's free and dnt knw how to go abt getting the paid version.

Joge1: Joge1: Hello guys and thanks for ur good work.. My question is I am an Irish citizen living in ireland with my 2 irish citizen kids but their dad who is my husband lives in Nigeria and has no job an account empty, However he has some Shares that if sold would be about 3 million naira. he could lodge in his account in order to apply for a long stay visa to Ireland.. Please do you think it will be a problem that he has no job? Do you think he would be deprived of his family? Thanks for advice..
Forgive me if I'm wrong, but is he not entitled for a visa by virtue of his being married to a citizen? Irrespective of his being employed or not? has he tried applying for a visa and was refused ma'am?
