Someone advised I start now so that when he starts teething, it won't disturb him. He takes NAN and I breastfeed him also. He takes NAN twice a day, I don't give him weekend.

I don't keep records but he sucks fine. In the day, anytime he starts disturbing, I put bresst in his mouth. He sucks at least 4 times before daybreaks

pls feed him on demand, twice a day is not enough (in my opinion). he ought to av doubled his birth weight by now. & pls giv him water since he's takin formula. I still maintain dat no teething medication. when he starts teething, if he has a fever, infant paracetamol will do.

yes, n yellow fever too. One on each thigh. I used a private hosp. D doctors said d vaccine cld b given on d arm or thigh

they are two seperate vaccines, not mixed

To help u, just keep telling urself dat d couple is d main focus of d day n u r special to b chosen as d maid of honour amongst many oda ladies..
how to act: nothing special, just b urself n smile at d cameras to show ur true joy for d couple.. help ur cousin wt her purse, fan, bouquet(when u notice she needs to free her hands) n any oda item as need be. watch out for her at all times- dats just d summary.

bt he have already taken d measles vaccine which is ticked in his book,I believe if he never taken it,it won't be marked in his health book,which one is mumps and Rubella again,the only one which I can see dats nt taken is the yellow fever vaccine,the measles vaccine was injected in the upper arm of my baby,is dat nt measles vaccine they gave him,I just want to be sure of dis thing noni,tanx

d MMR is frm 12 to 15 mnths. ask d nurse wen next u go. d measles alone is 9months.
my baby was given his 9 mnths vaccines on his thighs. abeg mamas, share ur experience on whr d vaccines wer given to ur LOs.

Garri as per soaking garri? One of my fav but I read somewhere on this thread that it will give ur LO permanent dandruff, so I have reduced my intake drastically. Will still follow ur advice about trying the water melon though I have never been a fan of it.
Also, no one has confirmed if Cucumber is good for the LO or not. I really am much more comfortable munching on my gud old cucumber.

welcome on board dear. great testimony! we shall read ur birth story in due time in Jesus name, amen. ds my 1st of hearing abt garri causin dandruff o.. me I av alwys looooved drinkin gari o wt milk n groundnut sef & my LO doesnt av dandruff apart frm d initial cradle cap few weeks or so after birth bt went within days. cucumber is really good. I ate it most days as part of my breakfast while preggy. happy 9 mnths!

some drs dont tell u d sex of ur baby and they mk it clear to u ab initio. So dat u wont say ur baby was exchanged or smthg if u gv birth to a diff sex frm wot u were told.As long as he lets u kno frm d onset, there s nothing wrong wt it. I kno a centre like fmc owerri does not check

Mojayo, ask d nurse wel, u may av missed d yellow fever vaccine or she may be referring to MMR- ur baby is to tk dat btw 12-15 mnths. I posted a pic of d vaccination schedule few pages back. GenoMI, check big 'posh' baby shops where fancy things are sold, they should av a rockin chair 4 u. Preciousan, 6 months it is. Bfor den, d child stil needs support to d back.

I washed mine- everything, including blankets. on some of d packs, its even written dt d clothes should b washed. I think its because of d lint- it could itch babys delicate skin

Yes you can. 2 months isn't too far away to be honest. I believe it's even better so that it reduces stress on you or whoever is in charge. Also, when out shopping, u r not forced to pick anyone because of time, but u will take ur time to pick the one you really want.
and also even ur guest, they have it on time to sew it and depending on price can budget well

Yes it does. Just that my BM's will be wearing yellow shoes, yellow hair fascinator & purple gown.

HOG18 has written well. a purple shoe for u & a yellow bouquet wt purple touch. for ur groom n his men, rushino wrote well. I prefer dark grey suit tho.. ur groom can use purple vest n bowtie/cummerbund since he doesnt like yellow while his men use regular ties wt som wearin yellow n others purple or if u can get a purple tie wt touch of yellow for d groomsmen, perfect.
