Writing on behalf of my mum, she was at work when she received an alert of 50,000 removal, she was confused thinking it was a mistake and shortly after another 100,000 removal. she suspected fraud so she got in touch with her bank to block the account, before that was done a total of 520000 had been removed. the 20000 on top was used to purchase recharge cards by the fraudsters.

Just this afternoon, fraudsters were able to withdraw 520,000 from my account through online banking. pls what can done to retrieve the money. pls somebody help. heat is catching me.

. I think many of those companies codes are open source. it can be used by other programmers without fear of copyright infringement.

There was this friend of mine, we were mates in the university and he was a real G. We supported each other through school with the basic stuffs. Fresh out of school, he was having a bad patch financially and he called me up. I was also in a bad moment at the time, so after lamenting hysterically about how broke he was to which I answered negatively, he said that " He was going to die if I didn't give him the money" and I then i told him that " Guy, you have my blessings to die, what remains is for you to give me ur parents phone number so I can call them to start making funeral arrangements".
Bros was shocked but last last, we had a good laugh over it and we are still good friends till today.

I would want to believe that Nairaland was created by Mr Seun Osewa as a platform which people ( majorly the youth) can come together to share information, ideas, create awareness, discuss critical issues plaguing the nation and proffering solutions to those problem but there has been a very rapid shift from the above thought out objectives to the promulgation of fake news and tribalism.
Right about now, I will be concentrating on the promulgation of fake news. Elections are around the corner and there isn't any thread one will open and u won't find evidence of fake news. It has become so bad that one doesn't even know what to believe again, it is very very difficult to tell what is the truth and what is false. There are so many faceless mischief makers on here perhaps on someone's payroll working overtime to disseminate fake news with the sole aim of causing chaos, confusion and discord amongst readers of the forum. These faceless mischief makers cannot be apprehended but what structures are being put in place to reduce the spread of fake news. What are the mods doing?
I think the mods can do more by banning these mischief makers and by closing all threads with evidences of fake news. If this is done aggressively, it should reduce the spread of fake news to a new low.

During the build up to the 2015 presidential elections, I want to say authoritatively that the majority of Nigerians and those that were eligible to vote were fed up with the continuity that the PDP was preaching and chose to align with the change mantra the APC was campaigning with and General Muhammadu Buhari was seen as the messiah that was going to take away our sufferings in the blink of an eye. And that leads to the question that can a mess that has been created in parts over the past 50 years be corrected and cleared up in 3 years? Views.

As at today 06/06/18, the democratic process in Nigeria is at an all time low with the said war of attrition between the executive and legislature. It is perceived that President of the country is witch hunting the Senate president with the Inspector General of police.
It can be remembered that both the Senate President Dr. Olubukola Saraki and Speaker of the house of Representatives Yakubu Dogara got into those positions against the wish of the APC and that begs the question; why is it that it is only the Senate President that is being targeted.
First it was the asset declaration case, and now it is alleged by the police that the robbers who carried out the Offa bank robbery heist were in his entourage and they worked for him during elections.
He was acquitted at the code of conduct bureau because due process was followed and they couldn't find any substantially incriminating evidence to tie him down.
I personally feel that if a public officer which in this case is the Senate president should be accused of wrong doing, he should follow due process to clear his name and prove his innocence as we the citizens of the country are watching instead of scheming to a impeach a popular president.
