Was surfing the internet a few days ago and I came across some pictures of the Livespot x festival which was held during the christmas period and one of those pictures in particular caught my attention. Check below. To some people it's an harmless picture between Male and female but to me and judging by the notoriety of Ubi Franklin, I think if you don't gerrit, forget about.

Omo which way forward like this and it wasn't even because of a lack of effort. my brother, "only judge can God this matter". |
IMO, I think the best solution to this issue on ground is to reform SARS, calling for the total banning of SARS isn't very wise because this division of the police force was created specifically for tackling the worst of criminal situations ranging from armed robbery, kidnapping. The IGP at that time must have seen that there was a need to have this division whilst MOPOLS were around. It is unfortunate that a vast number of SARS officers have become terrors and menaces to society and eager as we may be to remove them from society, we must remember they have an important role to play in the protection of lives and property. Reforms can be made in the recruitment process ( whereby only the best officers with good professional behaviour are allowed in the division) , creation of special bases for them which would prevent them from interfering in civil matters and mounting roadblocks. |
24SEVEN:thanks boss, just wanted to know cos the name has a kinda mystic about it. I suppose such name are synonymous with judges. the Rhodes-vivour, kekere-ekun, onnonghens. |

Not to play God or anything, it seems it's only a matter of time before this Abba Kyari man becomes Inspector General of Police. |
Introverts and Marriage. It is to an extent factual that introverts tend to shy away from social interactions because they are socially withdrawn, they might not find it stimulating enough for their thought processes or that they just want to be in their spaces alone. How then does an introvert (male) go on to cope with the stress and rigour relationships come with which would later go on to marriage. |
Ever been in an accident, How did it go? Mine happened some 12 years ago so here goes. The journey was from ijebu-ode in Ogun State to the state capital Abeokuta. My mum was to drive and we set off at about 4pm in the evening as it usually takes a time of about an hour and thirty minutes to get to abeokuta ( Her pace tho). It happened at some kilometres past odogbolu. The expressway had 4 lanes, 2 for those going and 2 for those returning and all was going smooth and well until we caught up to a trailer on the road. The trailer was on the fast lane not moving too fast so the cars ahead of us had to overtake using the slow lane. All the cars in front had gone past and we were next to go past and we did, but after getting past to about the midsection of the trailer, the trailer swerved suddenly to the right towards our car and mum in a bid to dodge also swerved to right hand side of the road, as she was trying to dodge, the right front tyre of our car went over the asphalt section of the road unto the gravel section (N.B: the sections of the road were not level as the asphalt section was higher than the gravel section). As that happened, the car was going towards the bush and so she turned it towards the road and the car oversteered and the car was going towards the fuel tank of the trailer so she swerved again and from there, it was just clearing of bushes till the car came to a stop. After the car stopped, my door was the only one that could be opened as mum's side had been blocked by a tree. As i opened the door, i was running about in the bush confused till i remembered that i wasn't the only one in the car. Other cars and commuters on the expressway stopped to help pull the car out of the bush, the trailer that was partly responsible didn't stop. It was only after my mum was helped out of the car and returned to the expressway did people discover that she had been lacerated around the neck region by the seat belt because of the style of cloth she was wearing. We returned to ijebu-ode that evening, the car was fixed the next day and we had someone drive us to abeokuta on the third day. For about a week after the incident, i was experiencing serious body pains. Grateful that no life was lost during the incident. Share yours if any. |
You dodged a bullet right there my friend. That exactly was how my mum got scammed a year ago. Just grateful that the money was eventually refunded by the bank. |
A promise we can't believe in. |

The 25th of March 2020 was an eventful day. It was eventful in the sense that the day was my birthday and something quite special and remarkable happened. I had for long planned that 25th was gonna be great and all the cool stuff I would do but Coronavirus (Covid-19) just came around and took away my shine. I got the usual complimentary greetings from family, friends and colleagues but personally, the day was no fun for me. Didn’t go to work so I knew I was gonna more or less spend the majority of the day sleeping. At about 12pm during the day after I must have had my third round of sleep, I felt someone wake me up from my sleep, so I woke and saw what appeared to be someone's cloth dashing outta the room. What I had just seen didn’t make much sense in my head or lets say there wasn’t enough information for my brain to process to make sense of the whole situation. So I shrugged and whispered to myself "Bleep it" and positioned to return to sleep when my mum ran into my room screaming "Won ti da pada". Massive apologies to the Non Yoruba speaking folks up on here and for the purpose of clarity, that phrase up there means "They Have Returned It". Now what was returned? Around May 2019, I opened a thread on here about how a large sum of money was fraudulently moved from my mum's account through online banking platform which she never registered for and at that time had asked for help from guys here about how to make complaints to the appropriate authorities and y'all came through for a brother with suggestions on what to do. So guys today, I can happily and gladly tell you that after 10 excruciating months of uncertainty and regular correspondence with the Customer Protection Department (CPD) of the Central Bank of Nigeria, the total sum of money moved at that time the incident happened has been refunded to the last kobo. In light of this, I just wanna say thanks on behalf of my mum to the wonderful people on this forum who helped. Good bless y'all and pray that we all do not fall victim to these scoundrels. Below are a few noticeable mentions. @dingbang @falcon01 @SUPERPACK @Oluwasaeon @Quality20 @KingMicky3286 @madridguy @valentineuwakwe @adecz #StaySafe, #Lockdown. |
