Very annoying. The truth is that, our govt is responsible to all this rubbish. A slave from any country will come to Naija with nothing, a stupid company or big firms will employ them and pay them 5million monthly while our qualified and certified graduates are roaming the street looking for work. Why won't they insult us? Whatch and see if any Lawyer of Police man will involve themselves in this. Abroad we are treated badly, @home the same why? God help us.

If ladies are going to be true to ourselves, then we would all agree guys have more to offer in every good relationship than girls. Ehnehn, before feminists come for my head, let me land biko . They have more to offer in the sense that we are actually created in atmosphere to thrive in love while men are created to express love to us (they protect, provide, support and so on...). For us to thrive in love, all we gotta do is appreciate their efforts, understand them and their shortcomings( we tend to think because they are guys, they ought to have everything figured out and come to us perfect) which is very wrong because before you call him a man, he is human with blood flowing through him just like me not some robots expected to be infallible.

With the understanding up there, I know my man is gonna need me to be his confidant, cheerleader, strength when he's weak, partner in crime , chukuchuku paddie and praying partner.

I know of an Igbo man who got married to a Yoruba woman, they have three kids together as husband and wife. They loved each other somuch, I lived with them for 2yrs somewhere in Abuja. But what bothers me is their extended families, her inlaws never like her, they frustrate her to an extent that she had to go back to her parent's house @d age of above forty yrs old. We keep saying one Nigeria but our parents never agreed to that by kicking against inter-marriages. God help us.

My advice, talk to her, ask her questions, like does she want to settle down? Are you yourself in any serious relationship? If she is ready and you like her enough to marry her, put away the contract signing and marry her. At 30 you should be planning on settling down yourself.

Errmm, I will like you to see it from this angle. You know this lady can as well go to a hospital where there is a sperm bank, pay for it and have an insemination. So with this in consideration, I think she admire you. She might not want to be tied down to a marriage bond now but that doesn't mean she will remain so forever. Even if that is the case, the child will grow up one day and decides to look for his/her father's family. We are Africans and always cherish family values though stories can always be fabricated to cover up some delicate issues but sometimes the truth always prevail.

Now my take on this. Call her up for a serious and grass root chat. Ask her if ever the child chooses to look for you will he/she be allowed to connect with you or not. That is your blood and nobody on earth forgets such. The guilt will always linger at the back of your mind all the time. Thread carefully and choose wisely. If you think you can forget about the child then do it but if the guilt will always be with you, then have a rethink.

My opinion though. There are so many things to this than the eyes can see and so many things to take into consideration.

A lifetime can be an incredibly long period of time; life's dynamism, ironies and karma may still come to play in funny or ironic ways between all of you.

Will you be able to live with a child out of wedlock? Surrogacy may be trending in Europe but Nigerians still have a lot of cultural hurdles to cross that won't end with this generation before totally embracing all of the values that they have currently. The wisdom in that remains to be seen but that is the way of the world presently hence she asking you to be a surrogate father will surely have it's drawbacks later.

I can't imagine making babies and not caring where they are or being there to play my role for both mom and child. I don't you're the heartless type but since she's not seeking a husband, we have a peculiar quandary which, amongst other things, leaves your future spouse and family as another factor to consider.
