I DR. NICOLAS FELIX THE PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE OF PEOPLES COALITION PARTY PCP OFFICIALLY ENDORSES THE PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE OF THE PEOPLES DEMOCRATIC PARTY PDP HIS EXCELLENCY ALHAJI ATIKU ABUBAKAR FOR THE FORTH COMING 2019 GENERAL ELECTION FEBRUARY 16TH 2019. From the turn of century our dear country has been subjected to international ridicule, Be that as it may, it can only take a man of strong wits, expertise, courage, and resourcefulness to diagnose and treat the immuno-deficiency of the country and restore the health of our dear country Nigeria. This happens to be one of the ideals that propelled me into contesting for the position of the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria at a time like this. So far, the support i have received from the teeming population of vibrant Nigerians especially visionary youths have been overwhelming to myself and the campaign team as a whole. My Gratitude knows no bound. Nonetheless, i have come to appreciate the needs of this country as it regards the political climate and being a person that loves sacrificing the best that i can just for the progress of a course I believe in. Indeed i have been able to identify amongst my fellow presidential Candidates a man of undeniable poltical and business exploits whose track records and ideals align vividly to what we believe in, "To Make Nigeria Work Again". Therefore, considering specific political parameters involved in our fight against nepotism, injustice, abuse of the rule of law, as well as economic decline, we must take a stand in the next General election. Today as Presidential candidates we are joining the team of progressive to do the needful for the development of Nigeria as a Nation After careful consideration and several meetings among some Presidential Candidates, I Dr. Nicolas Felix the Presidential Candidate of Peoples Coalition Party (PCP) together with Barrister Chucks Nwachuku the Presidential Candidate of All Grassroot Alliance (AGA) are officially and enthusiastically declaring our support for the Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) His Excellency Alhaji Atiku Abubakar. On this note, we are urging all our supporters and millions of Youths across the country on February 16th 2019 as they get to the polls to vote for the Presidential Candidate of PDP His Excellency Alhaji Atiku Abubakar. Some will be wondering why giving up my ambition in this critical period close to the election? but the simples answer is that my sacrifices was borne of the need for a great Nigeria for all. It was borne out of unselfish ambition and patriotic moves towards a greater Nigerian. No doubt, I am optimistic that Alhaji Atiku Abubakar is a man of intellectuality capacity and he would do his best to achieve our vision, your vision for a new Nigeria that is working. Also we are fully ready to be a partner in progress, a partner in greatness for the sake of changing the change that has bestialized our people all in the name of democracy. Our principle is to get things done not minding who is paddling the ship of the nation knowing well our preferred candidate would deliver beyond expectations for Nigerians. Our resolve to follow the PDP Presidential Candidate was necessary because, we had went through the policies paper and we are so very sure that with such a personality with magnanimous achievement and experience in the past, he is a very good candidates for the new job of making Nigeria working again. Because under him we will have more jobs for the youth. Under him we will have quality education which would translate to development of our nation. The Punch reports that Atiku said this during the reconciliation meeting with Obasanjo on Thursday, October 11. Atiku was Obasanjo’s vice president from 1999- 2007. He said: “This visit is an historic one for both of us and for this country, because, as I have said last Sunday, I paid tribute to him (Obasanjo) because I couldn’t have been what I am today without his wise counsel, without his picking me as his vice president for eight years and without the training I got from his tutelage and his leadership. “I believe the time has come for all of us to work together, to unite and work together, so that this country can be repositioned on the path of unity, truth and prosperity. “Mr President sir, today is one of the happiest days of my life. As I said a few moments ago up there, after your presidency, we have had three presidents in this country, the only president you have trained is I, and I said I am going to commit my presidency, if I become one, to the continuation of your own presidency and legacy.” Others at the meeting were Senator Ben Murray Bruce, former governors of Osun and Cross River states, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, and Liyel Imoke, and the director general of Atiku Campaign Organisation, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, among others. Adel Amrouche has revealed why he quit his role as a Libya coach ahead of Saturday’s 2019 AFCON qualifiers against Super Eagles at Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo. The 50-year-old Algerian tactician left his post on Tuesday, four days to the Mediterranean Knights’ crucial 2019 encounter with three-time African Champions over interference in his job and the failure of the Libyan Football Federation (LFF) to pay his salary for the last six months. Amrouche manages Libyan national team for just six months with away team host the return leg three days later in Sfax, Tunisia. Amrouche told Soka25east.com. "The first problem is about my two assistants. It was stipulated in my contract that I will be the one to pay the assistants, but the flight tickets and hotel accommodation was to be sorted by the federation in all games and camp meetings. "After our game against South Africa some people in the federation took a decision to stop my two assistants from working for no apparent reason because they prefer bringing their own friends to do nothing to the team but to earn money .That is a big joke. "How would I work effectively without the very same people that help me work effectively job as Libya coach. Amrouche speaks about the failure of the Libya Football Federation to meet up with their financial obligation to him. "I have been working for six months without a single coin paid to me and I have still been able to give 100 percent. I love my job and sometimes its not all about money, but principles must be followed or else people will take you for a ride. "I had already built a very strong team and many Libyans were happy as they had never seen them play that level of the game, but suddenly some people at the federation decided to interfere with my job, they even wanted some particular players which to me is next to impossible. "I cannot work in such conditions, that is why I have decided enough is enough as you know I was not given the name Architect for no reason, its because I like to perform. ” Amrouche added. Libya have four points from their first two games in their bid to qualify for the 2019 finals in Cameroon, ahead of South Africa on goal difference with Nigeria one point behind. Seychelles are last in the group without any points with only the top two teams qualifying for the finals next June.

Atiku has again cleared the air on his failure to secure a U.S visa which has been ascribed to an alleged criminal record. Former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar has again addressed the biting issue of his inability to visit the United States of America due to alleged corrupt practices. The presidential candidate of the main opposition party in Nigeria, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, speaking through the spokesman of the Atiku Campaign Organization, Segun Sowunmi during the TVC Breakfast show today explained there is no case of corruption against him in the US Sowunmi described Atiku’s challenge in securing a U.S visa as a mere ‘administrative issue’. Sowunmi went further to explain that the current Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi was also unable to travel to the U.S just like Atiku but the issue was later resolved after he assumed power in his country. “I want to remind them (Atiku’s critics) that the present Prime Minister of India hitherto had some of these challenges. For some reasons, the administrative provisions didn’t give him a visa to go to America but when he became the Prime Minister of his country, the sovereignity of the nation was respected,” he stated. He went further to emphasize that the U.S has no criminal record against his principal and this accounts for the failure of the US and Nigeria to prosecute him so far. “I can tell you for free that the United States of America has no criminal proceeding, or no indictment, or no corruption-related issue around His Excellency Atiku Abubakar,” he added. Sowunmi stated that the U.S would have demanded the extradiction of Atiku from the Nigerian government through the Extradition Treaty it signed with Nigeria if he had a criminal case to answer.

The president and Presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress, APC, President Mohammadu Buhari, has fired back at the presidential Candidate of the People's Democratic Party, Alhaji Atiku Abubarkar, and list his achievements. In a statement from his media officer in Abuja on Wednesday, Buhari said he had been a farmer long enough and he is still a farmer. I was leader of mayyetti cattle rearers for two years before i was president. I was not dependent on stolen fund. I have never seen a desperate man like Atiku, all i know is Nigerians will never vote pdp and even if they try, we shall stop them. Pdp is as dead and buried in 2015. Anyone who doesn't like rigging should go to court because that was what we passed through. My government created 500,000 new jobs to Youths via Npower. We built boreholes and repaired the bad roads. Our question to Atiku and the PDP is when are they going to travel to America? “Another of Buhari's achievements is that i can travel to any part of the world , i have met with the president of the greatest country in the world. In response, we ask Atiku if he will travel to America when he becomes President isha Allah.? I buhari single-handedly sent dasuki to prison and i will do more come 2019. When you go to some part of north i constructed a road to my village because they are too poor and useless. I empowered insurgency, i have over 300 thousand people i pay 5000 naira every month. I believe The real Nigerians with good population will vote for me.

Dr Nicholas Felix has emerged the consensus presidential candidate of the Peoples Coalition Party (PCP). Speaking at the event which took place on Sunday in Abuja, the party chairman, Hon. Anthony Chukwuma, said the party aims to reinvigorate the opportunities that have been denied the lower class in the society. According to him, for over 30 years Nigerians have been suffering in various ways, noting that “you see citizens begging, no one is secured and no one can account for you. However, the PCP is set to make this right for every Nigerian and most importantly for the poor Nigerian.” The Edo State born presidential candidate, said that his first priority is security. He noted, “Anyone who vies for the office of the president of Nigeria yet does not place security as his first priority is not fit and ready for the seat. One of the reasons I would have preferred to stay abroad is not because Nigeria has no opportunities, rather it is because the country is not safe and any nation without security, there is no amount of money injected in its economy that would yield development. Until the country is safe and secure, no one can ever attract foreign investors. Every successful economy must be able to attract investors that can set up companies to employ its citizens because no government can ever create employment for all her citizens.” He said that once the security is fixed, there would be influx of foreign investors automatically. According to him, if security is not fixed, there can never be a reduction in unemployment. “Unemployment will continue as long as citizens go to work from 8am to 6pm without night shift workers. This means the economy is sleeping from 8pm to 4am. If there is security to guard citizens to work for 24 hours, unemployment will be reduced to the minimum. For instance, if a company employs fifty workers for morning shift, fifty for evening and another fifty for night shift, that company has created 150 opportunities for citizens.” Speaking on the healthcare system, Nicholas highlighted that if he becomes the president, a law will be enacted to allow every citizen with or without funds to receive treatment in case of emergency and any medical personnel who do not adhere to the law will not only forfeit their licence but will also go to jail. He said the pension sector would also be reviewed to alleviate suffering among pensioners who have served the country for several years. Similarly, the education sector will be improved to create conducive learning atmosphere for Nigerians. Nicholas said his dream is to see that Nigeria no longer suffers epileptic power supply and for every Nigerian to be bold and proud to proclaim their citizenship. Dr. Nicholas Felix holds a doctorate degree in Divinity from CICA International University and Seminary in New York, United States. – The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Court of Justice has ruled that detention of former national security adviser Sambo Dasuki’s by the Nigerian government was unlawful. – The government had argued that Dasuki was detained for his own protection and for the sake of national security – Government’s lawyers had also denied that Dasuki ever fulfilled the conditions for his bail and was not released as ordered by three high courts Sambo Dasuki says his rights have been violated The ECOWAS Court of Justice has declared the arrest and detention of former national security adviser Sambo Dasuki by the Nigerian government as unlawful. Ruling on the case brought against the federal government before it by Dasuki over his continued detention on Tuesday, October 4, the court said the government’s action was arbitrary and anti-democratic. A three-member panel led by Justice Friday Nwoke ruled that the government was wrong in arresting Dasuki without a search warrant. It ruled that the pattern of arrest was contrary to the provisions of Section 28 of the Nigerian Police Act. The court ruled that the federal government failed to prove the reasons for the arrest and detention of Dasuki because documents presented before it only mentioned the allegations of fraud and illegal possession of arms. For this, the government was then ordered to pay a sum of N15 million as damages to Dasuki. According to Premium Times report, Dasuki had filed a N500million lawsuit against the government for keeping him detained since December 29, 2015 even after three different high courts where he was arraigned on corruption charges granted him bail. Lawyers representing the federal government Williams Obiora and Alu Agbi had told the court that Dasuki was in detention for his own protection. They noted that his case bordered on national security which superseded individual security, hence his detention by the State Security Service (SSS). Judges of the ECOWAS court of justice But Dasuki’s lawyer, Robert Emukperuo urged the court to disregard arguments on the grounds that they were not in line with the documents filed. Emukperuo asked the court to grant his client’s application oral evidence by the one of the witnesses alluded to safety and possibility of escape and not national security, contrary to one of the documents tendered by the defence. Proceedings in the case had ended with the conclusion of oral evidence by two SSS officials and judgement was supposed to be on June 29 but the presiding judge Justice Friday Nwoke postponed the ruling because of a vacation. NAIJ.com recalls that there was some drama at the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) High Court in Maitama, Abuja, on Thursday, September 29, when retired colonel Sambo Dasuki failed to show up in court. He was supposed to be present for the ongoing trial in the money laundering and breach of trust charges brought against him and others since last year. The ECOWAS Court has in the past lamented that member countries don’t abide by its judgements. |
My name is Ella, I am 31 years old. I work with a private establishment in one of the Northern states in Nigeria my boss’ started his sexual exploits with me. “It’s quite a small company, the pay is not so mouth-watering. I qualified for the job after the interview, so my getting the job was not based on sentiments. I am doing this job because of the drive and passion I have for it, yet, I am not happy. “My boss is a married man and he sleeps with me at will. He used to be nice to me only when he wants to ask me for sex. Sometimes, he doesn’t even ask me, he will just visit me. No matter how much I resist him, all he wants is to have me laid and the moment he does, he dresses up and leaves,” Ella narrated. She said talking about the whole experience makes me sick, stressing though she is not the type keen on sex, still she is compelled to do it with her boss sometimes. The devastated lady said that her boss was in the habit of giving her attitude at work, she said: “At work, this mad dog gives me attitude. He doesn’t know how to talk to people, he thinks he is on top of the world. Sometimes we don’t even talk because I’m having a heavy heart, but when it is time for sex, he comes around like a lost puppy looking for milk. Oh! How I hate him. “I remember how someone said he used to work somewhere, going to work tattered. This my so called boss used to look so dirty and unkempt to the office when his boss called him and gave him clothes. Today, maybe because he is somewhere and he thinks he has arrived, he can talk to people anyhow and have sex with whoever at anytime”. Ella stressed that going to work has become a frustrating exercise for her, as she is fed up with the harassment. Contemplating blackmail, she said: “Funny enough, I have some evidence of his sexual harassment and I really don’t know what to do with them. I didn’t intend to come up with this, thinking I would get over the whole thing when he eventually stops. But the thought of sleeping with me at will when he has his wife at home is killing. So, I’m the one sweet for precedent sex games? I ask myself sometimes.” “I battle with this sex bull-dog taking advantage of me and his unbearable attitude. It’s all about the sex to him. All he wants is what matters, how about what I want? He feigns innocence a lot, it is difficult for someone to know what he is capable of; but he is a green snake. Even if I speak out in an attempt to expose his wickedness, who will believe me? I’m worried sick!,” She lamented. According to Daily Post, Ella is confused and does not know what to do with the situation in her office. She said: “I’m just going mad. What do I do? I am not a sex material and he will not go unpunished. How do I go about this whole thing? I wish I could kill him. Going to work and getting to see this casanova drives me nuts.” There are numerous cases similar to Ella’s going on around Nigeria, the question remains how do we help people like Ella who are facing similar situations. Adoration Ministry spiritual director Rev Fr Ejike Mbaka has said President Muhammadu Buhari currently works with some people who do not want the success of his administration. The Enugu Catholic priest said the saboteurs in Buhari’s government are desperate to pull him down. Mbaka has been one of Buhari’s most vocal supporters since he asked Nigerians to reject former president Goodluck Jonathan in the run-up to the 2015 presidential election. According to The Sun, Mbake also said it was too early to give Buhari’s regime a dispassionate assessment, saying Nigerians should give the President more time. The Enugu-based cleric said the reason the country was yet to experience the real change being midwifed by Buhari was that some strategic positions were still manned by the same people who milked the country dry in the past. He said the president was not totally free from the grip of those who ran the country aground in the past. Mbaka, who spoke to newsmen in Enugu during the graduation of Niger Delta youths, who trained at Innoson Plastic Factory under Federal Government’s Amnesty Programme, said: “The government we are experiencing is not yet a Buharinised government. “Many people who are in different strategic positions are still the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) people and Buhari may not even know and even some people who are working around him are working to pull him down. “Buhari means well, Buhari is a good man, Buhari is God-sent for this country but, I am telling you that there are crocodiles in the fish pond. “Buhari may not know that he is feeding not the fish in the fishpond but crocodiles that are even feeding on the fishes!” He urged Nigerians to be prayerful to counter the activities of those he said were plotting to break the country and take over power. Mbaka had, a month ago come down hard on the Buhari regime, saying there was hunger in the land and that the President may not get the nod of Nigerians to get another term in office if the trend continued. He added: “Nigerians should go on their knees and pray for divine intervention because apart from God, we are going to see horrible things. The way these people are ganging up, they want to break Nigeria and take over power and take us back to where we were coming from. I pray it shall be well with Nigeria and it shall be well with Nigerians.” The cleric, who predicted the victory of Buhari in the 2015 presidential election, said he was yet to see the change he wants in Nigeria through the present government. “I am talking about change from corruption to moral probity, a time Nigeria will become a country that is worthy of emulation, that internationally when you mention Nigeria, Nigerians shall begin to smile. I am talking about change that is beyond embezzlement of funds meant for the development of the people and country. Only few people who call themselves politicians will be stealing the money and whatever they are doing with it nobody knows. “The poor masses are dying and they are enriching themselves wickedly calling themselves politicians, so, such team of people should be changed and if some of them are still remaining and they want to come back, I still pray that the broom of God will sweep them out because Nigeria must move forward. “These people are wicked, they are not Nigerians per say, I don’t know where their blood came from because they are not representing us; they are representing themselves and the devil that is using them. “If you know the pattern of their regime, the way they move and the way they truncate the activities that will be for the wellness of the poor masses, you’ll know that some of them are possessed and they need deliverance before they enter that seat.” He, however, said it was too early to assess President Buhari and asked Nigerians to give the Buhari government the chance to implement its change agenda. Praying for the liberation of Nigeria, the Catholic clergyman said: “I pray that our authentic emancipation, what we call change will be supernaturally propelled because right now you can see the hand writing everywhere, many people are complaining of hunger but the hunger is not Buhari engendered. “Many are complaining that Buhari has not started changing everything, Buhari is not a magician. “Like I used to tell people, somebody had been cooking in the kitchen for six years and he did not feed us well and just few months ago, somebody entered the same kitchen and all of us want him to cook a very wonderful delicious soup whereby his water is still in the pot. He has not started putting ingredients and people are testing the water and saying he cannot cook well. Let us give him a chance to pour the whole ingredients into the pot and when he is done with cooking, we can now judge him. “It is too early to judge a man who has just entered few months ago, remember, even the budget is being attacked, padding or no padding and some people want to baptise criminal fraudulent machination with the name padding as a non criminal offence. So, when you steal money that is in billions, it is padding and that one is a no offence? “But catch a poor man that steals a phone of N20, 000, he will be burnt alive.” https://www.naij.com/965366-tension-mbaka-drops-yet-another-bombshell-buharis-government.html?source=index_main |
