Business / Re: The End Of Naira, NGN, On Binance by vicnize: 2:37am On Mar 07 |
You made an interesting point. It was the best way to monitor what was happening in the crypto space. The problem is that the Nigerian government doesn't have enough USD to back their so-called currency float. You are floating what you cannot defend. USD funds from various companies are still trapped in Nigeria, and they are floating naira. I asked the CBN governor to tell me how much Nigeria has in its foregoing reserve. I remain speculative on the Nigerian naira, and I will continue selling it until I see evidence contrary to my analysis. BAT simply came to pick pocket the already poor Nigerian people. Last call to everyone: convert all your money to USD; otherwise, face the consequences that you get from a corrupt government. |
Business / Re: Binance Drops Naira From P2P Portal by vicnize: 5:29pm On Feb 29 |
I remain speculative about the naira's value until I review the CBN book. Notably, President Buhari's administration reportedly printed over 23 trillion naira through ways and means, a subject yet to prompt accountability demands. The Nigerian government often deflects, attributing economic issues to unrelated parties. In September 2021, Emefiele pointed fingers at AbokiFX for allegedly jeopardising the economy, an accusation that came amidst ongoing currency devaluation. By February 2, 2021, the CBN had directed banks to shut down certain accounts relating to several crytocurrency platforms, yet the naira's value kept plummeting. This scenario mirrors a paradox where Nigerian leaders, akin to a father who complains of hardships while conspicuously enjoying luxuries, fail to align their narratives with their actions, leading to public skepticism. After 63 years of similar patterns, it's crucial for Nigerians to assert their rights and demand transparency and accountability from their leaders. |
Business / Re: How Binance P2P Contributes To The Plummeting Naira Value by vicnize: 11:17pm On Feb 22 |
Mr. Man, you are a bloody Lier. It is obvious you have never traded p2p before. If you have 5 million naira of USDT to sell to those merchants, they will buy it from you. Stop talking about what you don't know about. The reason I have so much disdain for that country is that they end up blaming people who have nothing to do with the problem. Now let me explain to you, Mr, the reason your naira is falling is because your CBN does not have enough USD to meet demand. Have you heard about the CBN owing international and local airlines millions of USD that CBN has not been able to pay? Buhari sold Nigerian crude oil in advance, meaning the NNPC does not have USD to remit to the CBN. You have no idea what is about to hit Nigeria; you will beg God for mercy. Now ask the CBN governor these questions: Upon assuming office, what was the state of Nigeria's foreign reserves? What monthly revenue does Nigeria generate from the sale of crude oil and minerals in the north in USD? Why has the government not fixed your refinery, and what happened to the so called Dangote refinery? Is there a system in place for NNPC PLC to remit USD from crude sales directly to the CBN? What is Nigeria's monthly USD requirement for importing goods? Besides crude oil and sesame seeds, what are Nigeria's other sources of USD revenue? What strategies are in place to diversify and increase Nigeria's export offerings in the short, medium, and long term for enhanced USD inflow? What measures are being taken to ensure all Nigerians have equal access to USD through commercial banks without the need for connections? Given the inefficiencies in commercial banks' handling of forex, is the CBN considering the development of an online system to directly manage forex flows, bypassing commercial banks? Also, in a true sense, Nigeria has no business chasing USD everywhere. What happened to the currency swap with China? Most Nigerian imports are coming from China; hence, this agreement with China has to be revisited. Addressing these questions would not only provide clarity on Nigeria's economic policies and management but also highlight areas of potential improvement in the country's financial governance and strategy. 1 Like |

Bro is nothing big, trade it with small amount of money to learn the business first, but i must tell you is very tiring dealing with some funny character sometimes. create advert to buy usdt or btc from binance and sell back on binance. The problem with this business is that sometimes the prices of the usdt might drop against you. with me i have an advantage here because i have access to multiple market which alot of people in Nigeria do not have. I'm talking about having bank account in GBP and EURO. anyway if you need further help you can reach me here on nairaland. i give my advice for free. 1 Like |

I feel the need to answer this question. I will be honest with you, I got into crypto in February 2021 after the Nigeria government placed a ban on people depositing fiat currency in various crypto exchanges in Nigeria. I saw a lot of article online about Nigeria crypto traders complaining about this ban. This spark my curiosity as to why a lot of crypto trader where complaining about this ban. I started researching into crypto in general and I started trading crypto by march 2021. My primary focus was on p2p trading, buying and selling back on spot market. I made some money buying and selling back on spot market during the bull run. I also made money from trading on p2p. When the bear market started, buying and selling on spot market was much difficult, so i stopped this trading pattern and focused on my p2p trading, however with p2p trading comes with the headache of dealing with the banks, as you would have some customers trying to scam you by issuing a charge back against your bank account. i can honestly tell you that i invested over 100k usd in this crypto business and during the bear market my portfolio came down to 40k usd. sadly enough i sold about 20k usd of my portfolio at a heavy loss because i needed the money to invest in another crypto project. However I'm still currently holding the rest 20k in my portfolio. Honestly from my p2p trading i can say i have made roughly 15k usd so far, however if you look at the figured i have stated above, I'm still in massive loss of about 35k usd. I'm more experience in this business now. Please do not ever trade with money you can not afford to loss, also ensure you trade with stop loss, this will protect your portfolio and keep you sane, believe me, once you loss your capital, it will be very difficult to raise it back. Rule number one: YOU MUST TRADE WITH STOP LOSS Rule number two: ONLY TRADE WITH CAPITAL YOU CAN AFFORD TO LOSS Rule number three: NOBODY OWNS THE MARKET, SO REMOVE EMOTION FROM YOUR TRADING Rule number four: ENSURE YOU HAVE A JOB OR A SIDE BUSINESS APART FROM CRYPTO BUSINESS Rule number five: ENSURE YOU NEVER LOSS YOUR CAPITAL, BY ENSURING YOU TRADE WITH STOP LOSS. REFERING TO RULE ONE AGAIN. Wishing everyone Goodluck with their trading. 11 Likes |

All markets has always been manipulated one way or the other. GBPUSD trade of yesterday was not a surprise. The chancellor giving out tax break to 30 million people, bank of England is increasing interest rate, cost of gas, fuel, and food are going up, people's wages are not going up, millionaires will benefit more from the tax break than the average working man. The new chancellor Kwasi Kwarteng is practising voodoo economy. The market makers simply didn't like the mini budget at all hence the massive sell off of the pound sterling. We are in for some interesting time ahead. remember market makers always look for any excuse to sell off 2 Likes 1 Share |

Guys please let's respect each other on this platform, no one analysis is right or wrong as non of us own the market. The market can do anything he likes in spite of our analysis. I have accepted this and i now trade with caution. I think about my stop loss first before take profit. There is definitely a massive bear market coming, when will this be? Nobody knows, please trade careful and only use money you can afford to lose. Euros, pounds sterling and other major currencies are sinking against the dollars and that is not a good sign. 3 Likes 3 Shares |

Don't make me laugh please. You quoting Saylor buying Btc as a reference is a joke, let me tell you for free now as i can see you are not aware of it, every time you hear saylor has bought Btc, that's your signal to short Btc, go and check for yourself, every time saylor said his company has bought Btc the price of Btc always comes down. Like i said she will always do what ever she likes. Btc has given the highest returns compare to any other assets. For the fact Btc has dropped in price people are going crazy, go and check Btc performance over the last 10 years and come back to me with your argument. 2 Likes |

Btc will always do what she likes to do, trade it at spot level via milk the cow strategy and know peace. no worry or fear. simple as ABC. Btc has done 3 bottoms in a space of 4 months now on the daily. there are loads of order at the $17, 640 level. But Btc does not ewant to get there to fill the order, she will do what ever she likes. 6 Likes

The banks in 9ja can see that a lot of people are using their bank cards on paybis, hence after some time all the banks will block payment going to that site. arbitrage is a drain on the 9ja forex reserve. The country does not make enough money from foreign trade hence there is severe shortage of foreign money. Vote wisely for someone that bring trade into your country so you can have foreign money to do your arbitrage. 5 Likes 1 Share |
