A recent post by an online community has stirred panic, as the message suggests that the Iranian military might be planning an assault on Nigeria, in revenge for the Shiites who were killed in Zaria, Kaduna state.

Bill Cosby has fired back against some of the dozens of women who've accused him of sexual assault.
He countersued seven out of the forty women who'd sued him for defamation, saying they actually defamed him.
By saying he sexually assaulted them, the women hurt his reputation so much that plans for a new family comedy on NBC were derailed, the counterclaim said.His lawyer Monique Pressley said in a statement..

The women made "malicious, opportunistic, and false and defamatory accusations of sexual misconduct against" Cosby, . They made the accusations to hurt Cosby's reputation and to obtain financial gain.Cosby is seeking unspecified damages and public retractions from the seven women: Tamara Green, Therese Serignese, Linda Traitz, Louisa Moritz, Barbara Bowman, Joan Tarshis and Angela Leslie.
Cosby also denied he had sexually assaulted any of the seven women. He has not been charged with any crime.

It may look all shiny and new, but your smartphone is probably one of the filthiest things you own. The amount of bacteria and germs it carries is disgustingly huge, which is probably why a Japanese company is targeting germaphobes with the world’s first washable phone.
The Snapdragon 410 processor, 5-inch android phone, called Digno Rafre, is all set to be released in Japan by tech company Kyocera Telecom this week. It’s USP is that it’s waterproof and soap resistant, so it can be thoroughly washed under running water. There’s no risk of water entering the device because it’s entirely sealed to keep water and bubbles from getting in. It doesn’t even have a speaker, relying instead on a Smart Sonic receiver that transmits sound through vibrations on the phone’s screen. The built-in 13MP camera is also waterproof.
Apart from being washable, the phone is also ideal for kids, for people who are clumsy and keep dropping their phones everywhere, or like to take bathtub selfies. It even comes with a special rubber duck-shaped floating stand. To wash the phone, the company suggests gently rubbing soap foam all over it before thoroughly rinsing it with plain water. And, as an added bonus, there’s no danger of scratching the phone, because its plastic back cover is supposed to be self-healing.
Digno Rafre, which comes with 16GB storage, 2GB RAM, and a 2MP front camera is priced at ¥57,420 (about $467), but it isn’t available for purchase outside of Japan. The company has announced no plans of releasing the gadget in foreign markets, but if interest is high enough, who knows?

A man and woman who clinched the title of 'world's oldest couple' are celebrating their 90th wedding anniversary.
110-yr-old Karam Chand and his wife, 103-yr-old Kartari Chand from Bradford, West Yorkshire got married December 11, 1925 in a Sikh ceremony, before India's colonization.
The elderly couple who were both born in November had a joint birthday celebration last month thrown for them by family and friends.
Kartari and Karim have eight children, 27 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren from their 90-year marriage.
They currently live with their youngest son Paul, his wife and two of their four children in Bradford where they first moved to in 1965.
"To be aged 110 and to be so healthy is a huge milestone for anyone…We are still trying to come up with names for what you would call a 90th anniversary, as it is such an achievement."
"I am also proud of the my whole for family for helping us keep my parents in such good health. It is a blessing to have them still around and to have them still telling me what to do," Paul said.
To celebrate their birthdays, the elderly couple opened a new shopping centre called 'The Broadway'.
Karam and Kartari also led their community in the annual Girlington Parade.

Nigeria’s Collette Nwadike last night in faraway Sao Tome & Principe won the Face of the Universe Beauty Pageant Crown.
Collete beat Miss Germany who was the first runner-up; Miss Angola the second runner-up; Miss Aruba the third runner-up and the host country participant, Miss Sao Tome & Principe, the fourth runner-up.
The top 10 finalists were USA, Brazil, Sudan, Nigeria, Germany, Cape Verde, Ghana, Angola, Aruba and Sao Tome & Principe.

The double joy of childbirth for an Austrian mother who gave birth to twins was shattered when her husband died from a heart attack at the exact moment his children were coming into the world.

The tragedy struck as Alina Markus, 30, gave birth at the AKH hospital in the Austrian capital Vienna on October 11th. Her husband Andreas Markus was at their home in Schwechat, Lower Austria, when he suddenly collapsed from a cardiac arrest in front of their 10-year-old daughter.
Alina had gone for a check-up in the AKH, and it was only at the last minute that she went into labour earlier than planned. The birth was straightforward and without complications. But in a tragic twist just moments later, Andreas, 47, collapsed and his daughter called for help. He was taken to a hospital in Baden, Lower Austria, where he died a short while later. Doctors in the AKH were forced to break the news to Alina as she lay in her hospital bed.
They said: “Your husband suffered a heart attack whilst you were giving birth, he did not survive.” The now mother-of-three has been left in a desperate state, shattered that her husband will never see or hug their babies. The Ukrainian-born Mrs Markus is under sedation. Friends are rallying but her in-laws, who never approved of her relationship with their son, have allegedly cut her off.
A local event manager, Thomas Hetlinger, is putting on a concert “Voices – One Night of Evergreen” including a performance by Greg Bannis – ex-front man of the band Hot Chocolate – in the Austrian capital with 50 percent of the proceeds going to the widow. He said: “Their apartment is too small. She has to pay the funeral costs. Alina fears for her existence.” He added: “The family urgently need things for the babies – baby food, funeral costs and rent are all things she is struggling with now.”
