1. Don't change your area of discipline because it may raise a red flag. 2. Go for MSc.Nursing because it'll make d TRV easier to get... 3. Pls, do not keep it in ur mind that you'll single-handedly complete your tuition as soon u get to Canny(reasons: it's a foreign land whch must take u some time to adapt. U can't start workin immediately until after about 2-6mnths. By this time, ur 1st semester is gone and u must pay for ur 2nd semester). Finally, b4 u start the application process, ask ur mom to start early workin on her bank SoA. In addition, read through the thread to help urself. Guruz, pls corroborate or refute my write-up. When I went to the Federal High Court in Abuja today to look for a Notary Public, I ran into Olisa Metuh along side the media and the judges...court room,3rd floor. It was a nice experience,though... Finally, I got what I wanted. MY QUESTION: for online app, do I need to merge my sponsor's SOA with mine in a pdf before upload? Thanks @all!

i gained admission in conestoga college ontario. to study nursing degree.
i submitted my application on 12nov did biometrics on 13nov, submitted alot of documents like:
my waec result. finished in 2012
letter of intent
my birth certificate and of all my siblings and my mum
death cert of my dad
admission letter from conestoga.
receipt of part payment of 7000 CAD
employment status of all my siblings.
US previous denial letter with admission letter from troy uni and UCO

sponsor documents.
sponsor is my uncle who is a medical doctor in US (US citizen)
sponsor bank statement with closing balance of 33000 USD.
sponsor's tax clearance documents.
sponsor's US passport.
sponsor's business documents.
sponsor's payslips
sponsor's letter of sponsorship.
sponsor's. company registration documents
sponsor's birth certificate.

CIC sent me a mail stating that my application was denied with the following reasons:
travel history
purpose of visit
ties in canada and country of residence
personal assets and financial status
that i have not satisfied them that i will return after studies.

my school has already since 5th of january.
please i need your advice. thank you

Brother, there is still hope for you; just believe! Get the right documents and refire; this time, you need a cogent SOP regarding your US refusals. MY OBSERVATION: 1. Your sponsor is not residing in Nigeria as you are. MY OPINION: get an affidavit of return, get a Nigerian based sponsor and above all, get a Nigerian academic admission while you chase your dream land(it'll add to your application and gives you an edge...). Guruz,what's your take on this?

Hi guyz, just think i should say this very quickly.... i have been reading this trend say like 2months now. i figure Canada refuse rate after medical is very high now i mean since like the last 3months they have refuse quite large numbers of applicant even after passing their medical.
i have some friends who are Travel Agent...am not here to promote agents, am just saying i have lots of them who are very good!!! they do let me know that its always a bad time to apply for TRV towards the end of the year(Oct,Nov and Dec) Reason: cos every embassy/consular has the number of visas to be issue within the year time frame. so basically if CA is to issue 10,000 visas to applicant from Nigeria for the year 2015. and by Sept they have already issue 9,800. guess what happen to Hundreds of applicant who is applying by Oct to Dec, the denial rate will be very high isnt it?
This isnt my idea, it was a thought from some gurus aswell..... so am writing to encourage the ones who has been refused, to pls not give up..JAN is another best time to apply u can start pilling up ur docs for submission and am sure by God grace it will be great news for u.
also for those awaiting, i pray it comes out Good.
should anyone here think my write up is a crap and that cant be the reason for refusal, i am open for a correction and i wll be glad to learn, you know one can not know it all.

Niagara University(Mississauga,ON) is good, some others may be better(google). It takes 4 good years to obtain a BSc.N cert.with an annual tuition fee of about CAD$14,000 ( total yearly expenses of about CAD$34,000). There are easier ways to get the BSc.N like taking a PGD(speciality) course 1st... You dnt need an Eng.Lang.Exam becos ur RN language of instruction was Eng.Lang. I hope this helps? Regards! UBA is a fùcking scam bank.. Imagine they deducted #22k+ for CAD134 application fee...

You were NOT informed that's d reason it seems u're deformed. They just added 1,712 Naira interest rate and u are shouting. Canadian Dollar in the bank exchange rate is 151.41 to 1 Naira. U should be happy that it went through and make sure u're ready for the tuition and other fees. Success to all TRV hopefuls!

Welcome,my professional colleague! Pls, don't be deceived because there's no uni in Canada that does 1yr BSc.Nursing except in d UK...unless u're going for a PGDiploma(speciality). From experience... Nonetheless, change is constant; keep trying...good luck!
