i only know of two departments,economics and geography

yes,i agree that issues of protest,strikes many a times cripple academic activities,but i must say i appreciate the effort of the management in making sure those avoidable set backs are addressed and the student union for their support in making lasu an envy of others.admitted 2010,resumed early 2011 and graduated deb 31st 2014.(deductively,with all the challenges and distortions,i graduated at the right time)
as for the lecturers victimizing students,i believe that should have stopped.though he who seek equity must do equity

categorically speaking,having read through comments above,it therefore becomes imperative that i state the following based on a real time assessment of LASU the best state university in whole of sub-saharan Africa
1. our lecturers are the best you can ever get
2. students are ever ready to learn,some who fail out,were those who thought lasu was a walk over
3. even though majority of the students stay off campus,academics excellence is primary even above unionism
4. you get what you deserve in exams ,lecturers are more careful as you can call for your scripts and nobody will victimize

5.stable academic calendar,
6.high level of discipline
the 6 first class graduates are truely geniuses ,two of them are my friends and sincerely test them.in lasu first class no be beans even 2.1

High or low gp's,first class or pass,we are all equal,under certain conditions,well either way you decide to view it,just a necessasy condition,do not actually guarantee success.well i must confess majority of our youth fold lack the reading culture,we should also question the admission process and the whole system.*my judgement*scrappassgrade*
