two of my new staffs are beginning to violate the company policy on attendance, one left for 2 days authorized leave and added a 9 days unauthorized leave claiming to be sick but was unable to present any medical report and the other left for exam for one month and 15 days unauthorized leave. i will only say that the people that work in our company are not enlightened in the sense that they tend to misbehave at will. i resumed and met them uncultured but most of them have been disciplined and they now behave like normal being. however this two tend to act otherwise. My people kindly suggest the best disciplinary measure for this two persons.

they are not first offenders anyways,just that the staffs i have over here are equivalent to wild animals. The days absent was 45 days and 7 days respectively. one went for exams without getting approval and the other was given a two days leave and he extended it to 9 days without putting a call through

Well, if you have internet data, I will advice you to go to youtube.com and type in the name Armin Trost in the search box. He is a world renowned German professor in Human Resource Management. Check on the list of his videos. There, you'll see about 21 videos/lectures on HRM. That is a good start! I intend going for CIPM later, but don't have the funds. So I am using his videos to ground myself in the subject before aiming for the required certifications. Hope that helps?
