I dont knw where exactly to post dis, but i have to say my mind. It pains me when i see these things happening. D level of gullibility being displayed on facebook is quite alarming. Hw can commentin play on a post make a video play? Hw can typing amen save u frm accident, hw can typing help save a child sufferring from hunger?. D bible said pray in Jesus name, nt on facebook! Celebrities post dumb tins and get millions of d same comments (how exciting can dat be?). Pastors do dis and get millions of amen(and d situation remains d same). If u want to help a child, dont type help, send relieve materials that can do all d help he/she needs instead of a million help typed. All dis dont add up. Is technology making us smarter or dumber? Are we so consumed by our religion dat believin in typing Amen change a tin? Pls celebreties, pastors, governors and pages, stop posting dumb post. If u dont have anytin reasonable to say, keep quiet, stop bugging us wit irrelevant materials. Dnt tell me a story and expect me to believe dat if i type help d story would change, instead tell me hw i can make dat story nt to happen again! Having said dat, now i can have rest of mind. Yours in the struggle me. |
The post said sanusi gave a party N1BN to open nation wide offices.. Hope it is nt d party am tinkin it is? |
Well here is a poem i wrote on democracy day. I wanted to summit it for a competition but later didnt. I tink odas shuld see it too.. So am going to post it here. Would appreciate ur criticism. Tanks. DEMOCRACY: OUR DEMOCRACY There are no more birds in our skies for they have all migrated to foreign lands. No more light in our day for our days is colonized by nights. No more hope in our hearts for the air stenchof dying dreams. There are no more thiefs with guns for all have embraced the pen. No more aircraft that is safe for safety is of the lord. There are no more men for the nation is the richest in africa. There are no more wars but ethnic battle for superiority. No more elections but selection by an opportuned few. There is no more sanity for the nation has gone mad. There is no more country but factions with common interest. |
Lazy christians ar here claimin d man is d devil.. Go to ur bible and read, u would discover dat d story of adam and eva as d origin of man is nt real. Adam and eva gave birth to cain and abel, one killed d oda and d oda became a vagabond, who lata got married to a certain woman frm a certain village.. Wer did dat woman come frm? Did God created dat village seperately? Seth, adam and eva third son, wer did he pick a wife? Frm d daughter his mom gave birth to? Certainly not. D story is just lies past down frm century to century.. It truth hurts though! |

Let me predict. 2015 would be like chess games. Lots of politicians would be sacrificed for d king. D truth is, we already knw d king for pdp.. But apc? D king is only being speculated. It would be an interestin game, so grab a seat, a cup of pop corn and one cold coca cola drink. |
U guys ar busy tryin to knw wen d project started and wen it ended. Cryin over whether he is APC or PDP. Its d same person! a politician would be himself whether APC or PDP. D gud ones would remain good, why d evil ones would remain evil. I dont care whether u belong to d progressive or regressive, all i want is for u to deliver on ur mandate! #partypoliticsucks |
Y ar der no governors frm south east.. Dos guys are clueless, except d governor of anambra state.. I was expectin one governor frm abia, imo or enugu state governors. Dos guys ar just busy doin nawtin y igbos are busy condemnin southwestern governors.. Am Igbo though and am very concerned abt igboland. |

Before going on strike this year, nigerian students were the main individuals that felt the pains. I could remember vividly of how we would read preparing for our examination, show up in d exam hall but only to hear that the exam would not hold and that we should keep reading. During the strike, we the student did nothing but wish and hoped the strike would be called off. Now its all over, the strike i mean. But certainly the pains and tension on the students is not over. Just read my school facebook page, only to find out that am going to write 10 papers in one week! Can u imagine? Information reaching us is dat exams starts on jan 6th and all would be written in one week! I have abt ten courses, how am i suppose to cover all of them in one week? Just imagine someone who had a carry over, there is a very high probability that the course he failed would be going on while he is writing his present papers. I knw a friend who had four carry over in his year two and now have to write abt 14 papers in one week. How is dat possible? Pls nairaland, education minister or whoever should please tell my school not to rush us. Time dat is lost is already lost. This is our future and they shuldnt rush us at all. My university is Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka. Dont rush me please i dont want a carry over. We need time to prepare for each paper at a time. Indeed the students have no right, no say, nothing. We just go where ever they push us to go. NANS has failed us, our SUG has failed us, but the onus is more on us not to fail ourselves. Happy post ASUU strike to all Nigerian student. |
A new city wit ability for near limitedless growth. Dis is d real deal! |
Wow... @50calibre.. Lets assume dat dis guy is ur broda or dis girl is ur sister, will being gay make d person less related to u? |
I see ur stand on d mata @ eduson33. Well every1 is different and ur opinion is ur entitlement. So my advice is that u shuld go arund beating gay ppl and see if dat would change dem. Truth is d more u beat dem d stronger they get. |
If an individual chooses to disclose their sexual orientation or gender identity to you it is important that you take some time to review your own feelings, prejudices, and heterocentric ideals. The coming out process can be difficult for surrounding individuals in a similar way as it is to the actual individual. Below are some things to keep in mind when an individual chooses to come out to you: Scared, Shocked, Disbelief, Uncomfortable, Not sure what to say or do, Concern for them, Supportive Feelings, Flattered, Honored, Angry, Disgusted, Feeling that they are coming on to you? Remember that the person has not changed. They are still the same person who you knew before; you just have more information about them than you previously had. *. If you are shocked, don't let the shock lead you to view the person as suddenly different. *. Don't ask questions that would have been considered rude within the relationship you had before they disclosed their sexual orientation or gender identity. *. Recognize that everyone's experience is unique and don't assume you know what a LGBT individual is going through. *. Remember that they may not want or need you to do anything. Often it is simply affirming for the individual to disclose this personal information. *. Consider it an honor that they have trusted you with this very personal information. Thank them for trusting you. *. Clarify with them what level of confidentiality they expect from you. You never want to share this personal information with others without their consent. *. If you don't understand something or have questions, remember that persons who are LGBTQ are often willing to help you understand more. But remember they are not experts of ALL LGBTQ people. If you want to learn more utilize your resources not these students. *. If you find yourself reacting negatively, remember that your feelings may change. Try to leave the door open for further communication. *. Remember that you too are never alone and that there is a network of Safe Zone Allies here to support both you and your students. *. If you would like more information, ask in an honest and respectful way. If you show genuine and respectful interest in their life, they will most likely appreciate it. Some good questions are: How long have you been aware that you were LGBTQ? Has it been difficult for you? Is there some way I can help you? http://case.edu/lgbt/safezone/comingout.html |

World leaders have lauded Nigeria for helping to facilitate the first ever global trade reform agreement, which has the potential to add $1tn to the global economy. The world’s trade ministers agreed that the ‘helpful’ leadership of the Nigerian Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Mr. Olusegun Aganga (who chaired the MC8), drew the path for success at the just-concluded ninth ministerial conference, a statement by ministry on Sunday, said. “The fact that Minister Aganga, who is the past chair, is well versed and experienced in global issues, helped a great deal to reach a consensus. It is a good thing that the positive conclusion today started from MC8, the Rwandan Minister of Trade and Investment, Francois Kanimba, said. On her part, the Minister for Trade and Industry for Botswana, Dorcas Makgato-Malesu, said one of the important outcomes of the MC8 was the courage to focus on key deliverables after over 10 years of negotiating the Doha issues. “Minister Aganga, who chaired the MC8, is one of the key people helping Nigeria, and Africa as a whole, on all fronts. He has been instrumental in trying to bring together divergent views to achieve convergence in a way that everybody’s interest is protected with permissible flexibilities,” she said. The entire 159 member countries of the WTO came to Bali for the MC9, knowing well that it was either a deal was struck regarding the three packages on the table or the WTO lost its integrity. Ministers therefore worked very hard with Nigeria, in particular, mediating to ensure that key areas constituting major imbalances in the multilateral trading system were ironed out. “For the first time in our history, the WTO has truly delivered. This time, the entire membership came together. We have put the ‘world’ back in the World Trade Organisation,” the Director-General, WTO, Roberto Azevedo, told exhausted ministers after the long but fruitful talks. Try to fix ur mess and in 2014, who knws ASUU might sing ur name in appreciation. |
