European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only (Old) by viee(f): 7:42pm On Apr 05, 2007
yes i love good attacking football.
but i think it gets really boring when a particular team keep winnng all the time.
i would love to see a situation where the title race is still on even with just two games to go
the anxiety is even more fun to me!
it will even make the predictions more eventful
anyway that just viee talking, if i own a club and invest lotza cash, it is only natural to xpect them to go on and keep winning sha
same goes for fans who invest emotion and cash.

i love being 'fanless'  jo  thank you grin

we had the discussion once at work and most people said, it is better to ackwoledge the feelings but keep it quiet and afterwards try to get a job some where else.

for me, it will suurely b boring!

imagine watchn him spanked in the office!
gosh!
Career › Re: Would You Date Someone In The Same Office? by viee(op): 6:09pm On Apr 05, 2007
my feeling xcatly but what of if i start liking someone in the office, we really dnt plan to start loving pple undecided
Career › Would You Date Someone In The Same Office? by viee(op): 2:21pm On Apr 05, 2007
in my place of work, it aganist the company for any sort of intimate relationship to take place be it hetrosexual or homosexual grin
i just wonder if we are missing anything because for me i feel that if i date someone in the office i will easily get bored.
since i get to spend the better part of the day with that person in the office, they wont be much to discuss in our private moments, we may even have the same circle of friends.
wont that make the relatiionship boring?
Politics › Re: Court Rulings Are Complimentary says NBA by viee(f): 12:59pm On Apr 05, 2007
[]
@viee
Correct BUT Apeal Court did not rule on that. They rule on if INEC can disqualify a candidate or not. It was only Federal High that rule if that indictment can be used by INEC.

Federal High Court Judgement:
His judgment read in parts: "The report of the Administrative Panel of Inquiry, which the Defendant (INEC) relied on to exclude the Plaintiff, has been set aside by Akande J. of a Lagos High Court. The defendant cannot use the effect of the same report to deny the Plaintiff the right to contest.

So its clear to everyone that Atiku can contest.

so since it has been ruled that they can disqualify candidates, they might as wel go to court to and use that right, abi? undecided

Politics › Re: Court Rulings Are Complimentary says NBA by viee(f): 11:47am On Apr 05, 2007
i learnt one thing in school about associations, that they are formed to protect the intrest of the members, accord them good status in the society etc etc.
when you analyse the response Olisa Agbkoba gave, u will only ask 'what else should he have said?'
he is the incumbent president of NBA so it is incumbent on him to stoutly defend his organisation.
that said, let me also add that when you say that a particular court only looked at the circumstances in which the VP was removed and bla bla bal , i become somehow confused, INEC to my knowledge said that he was being disqualified due to the indictment. what other procedure does INEC need to follow.
since according to a particular court, INEC can disqualify candidates who are unworthy, the case is really simple;disqualify!
as i said earlier, this is just a way for NBA to indirectly maintain good image among members of the public.
in all honesty, i strongly believe that they are also embarrassed by all this melo-drama.

@ razzor,

actually, i can write perfectly well and speak quite well, in communication, we have different degrees of interaction.
i like to believe that your IQ is at least a little above average so you can decipher 'shorthand'
if i had known i was wrong, believe me, i would have spelt it out in a clearer term so even 'a kid' can easily understand.

my apologies for making such erroneous assumption!
is it called fallacy of hasty generalization?can't remember now grin

Former world number one Venus Williams came back to beat fourth seed Patty Schnyder in the second round of the Bausch & Lomb Championships in Florida.
Williams, playing just her third tournament of the year after struggling with a wrist injury, won 3-6 6-3 6-4.

The 26-year-old was a break down in the final set before fighting back to take her record against Schnyder to 9-0.

The unseeded Williams, currently ranked world number 32, will now play fellow American Meilen Tu in the third round.

just to let u all know that Venus Williams is also getn ready for french open.she is yet to meet a'very tough' opposition but so far she is holding on well.

@viee and co

you lack common sense, no one is saying OBJ is a saint , what we are saying is how come INEC cannot disqualify a person just because is called ATIKU so what , BOLLOCKS .

THANK GOD NO MORE DISTRACTIONS
oga common sense perhaps u should also add intelligence to ur list of honours cos it takes only an intelligent person to decipher what is actually happening.

[bored!]

ya, i think the guy actually allowed tears to xscape alittle cry
but then we cant really say whether other players r catchn up or not, nadal and nalbadian use to have a special number for our man roger until he was able to find a way to beat them.
all top players at one time or the oda do have boogeyman tailing them!
lets see what happens on clay, nadal of course is the king of clay, wonda if he can still keep that form
he always disappoint when u xpect lots frm him.
ya!tennis in intresting again to me jo! grin grin grin
