Since the return to democracy in 1999, Nigeria has been grappling with diverse security challenges, chief among them are insurgency, election violence, kidnapping and most recently, the herder-farmer conflicts among others. The north central states of Benue, Plateau and Nasarawa and other states have experienced conflicts that led to thousands of deaths and displacements as a result of clashes between pastoralists (herders) and local farmers in several communities. In January 2018 alone, Amnesty International reports indicate that 168 people were killed as a result of herdsmen-farmer clashes.1

Struggle over grazing land and scarce resources have over the years resulted in perennial and growing violent conflicts in terms of frequency, intensity and geographic scope. Underpinning the escalation in frequency of conflicts in Nigeria is a confluence of environmental and demographic forces, especially desertification caused by climate change and population explosion. Expectedly, with the depletion of arable land for subsistence farming largely as a result of increasing urbanisation and the adverse effect of climate change, especially along the Lake Chad basin, there is increased struggle between herdsmen and farmers – leading to violent confrontations and conflicts, deaths and forced displacement, as well as the destruction of agriculture and livestock.

Firstly, it's wrong to insult other people's religion especially if it is a religion that is constitutionally accommodated. So that man should be apprehended for his sacrilege.

Secondly, those uttering insults above should be banned for their religiois intolerance. If we check now, they're from "religion of love". Religion of love indeed when they're the ones that go about insulting otger people's religion. But if their "lord, saviour and messiah" is called gay now they'll be kicking (bucket).

This is the next chapter i was hoping you'd one day begin to hammer on for every one tp hear and concern your brilliant self with some domestic issues involving extramarital affairs that will never cease to exist for as long as everyone keep practicing the societal-damaging Abrahamic that are so un-African. As for Islam, kudos to it. Islam still remained honest as it specifiy the name of the idol they chose to be the national God of the arab people, whether Allah was elevated from a female moon idol of the pre-islamic Arabia by Mohammed Salah or not, is another topic. Immediately I left Nigeria, they started dating. So when they told me, I was shocked because I didn’t see how they got there but didn’t say anything. Well they dated. He is someone I have known since childhood and apparently he had liked for me or a very long time but I never saw it because he has that bestie’s feeling.
When I got back for a while, I realized he was different. I didn’t see him as the guy my parents knew as best friends but as a man. Do you know how bad I messed up? One day I told my friend, his ex, I didn’t realize he was this hot. I already said it before I realized I shouldn’t have. So when we both realized our feelings were mutual, we agreed to phase it out because of her but I couldn’t.

I told her if I was going to act on it, I’ll tell her. To cut the story short, my friend and I are no longer talking and in my justification then, I used to say it’s not like he met me through her. We were friends longer. I am going to weigh my options today and see if it’s worth going on so I end it now. I would not like wahala later. omokoginimi

When I was still based in Nigeria, there was this guy that was my friend, he came to visit me one day and met a female friend of mine. In less than two months sis, I heard they were going out. I was just surprised but knew they wouldn't last long but I kept my reservations.
Left Nigeria and lost my contacts, last year I found the guy again on ig, told me he rushed into the relationship with my friend and all that and sis he said we should start something. Said no, not just because I've a boyfriend, but lol because he dated my friend whom I still talk with, I said it can't happen lol. I don't know but I can't do it.

The only problem with this policy is that it does not cover the whole state thereby creating a sort of apartheid.


Okada work in Lagos state cannot be a solution for national unemployment

I would suggest that in those places where okada remains there should be a timetable to a total ban across the state
Also there should be a fixed quota of total number of riders for each local government area who cannot only operate with a permit licence.
This should be reserved ONLY for people who can pass an interview conducted in Yoruba language

I am sorry but using London has reference to your point was a bit I won’t say dumb. Is the Lagos state government willingly to get buses in this route? You talked about buses and taxis. How about the ones that can afford to take taxis? Like someone said up there, Lagos should stop using first world template. We are still a third world country.
