Christianity Etc › Re: Pastor E.A Adeboye's Resignation As G.O by vikyno(m): 4:01pm On Jan 23, 2025 |
Mysteriousworld: You do not understand your Bible very well, if you're expecting Another General Overseer after Pastor E.A Adeboye. It is the end of the world people. You're expecting the next G.O, when you should be expecting Christ's return! Don't you see the signs around Wake up Church! Wake up people of the Lord!!
*If there's anything I wish to add here, is that all churches should prepare for the next Pandemic and lockdown.... Get your members psychologically prepared... Remember people felt reluctant going to Church after covid, let's plan ahead. Keep deceiving yourself. Greater men of God has come and gone... You better wake from your slumber and face your God and not mortal men. |

jesusjnr2020: I don't think she even deserves to be a church leader from all I've heard from her despite being a popular figure, but if God is the one who chose her to lead His flock, who am I to object?
I can only air my views, but it's only up to God not men to chose whichever vessel He wants to lead His sheep, whether male or female as proven with the instance Deborah in the Bible days among others.
God is not a respecter of persons, gender, colour, but only those who truly fear Him and walk righteously before Him, and only looks at the heart when it comes to choosing leaders for His people.
God bless.
Modified:
That's why many Christians will keep being left behind what God is doing because they can decide for God who to choose for His work. That's how they were busy judging Kathryn Kulman on the basis of gender, when God was using her to do much more than most men of her generation were able to do, drawing many souls into the kingdom of God and raising some of the most influential preachers like Benny Hinn to continue from where she left off and raise other men. If you like don't learn but continue holding fast to the ideas, doctrines, and traditions of men that has nothing to do with God, it's your business. As for me, i want to be a part of what God is using women to do in these last days and not left out. God bless. What's clearly written in the bible has now become the tradition of men because it doesn't suit you. |

sparko1: How many types of apples do we have?
Just because it's not exactly what we call apple now doesn't make it figurative, and BTW, if you are implying they had sex, (did) that doesn't sound ominous, God created male can and female, the grand plan was obviously for them to procreate.
The Bible is not some textbook, you don't need to contextualize it, everything started is a fact, it's exactly how it was started. I never meant sex as you are insinuating. Remember the BIble has been translated severally and some original text and meanings were erroneously misinterpreted. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Adam & Eve Ate Nothing In The Garden, Cigarettes Isn’t A Sin - Abel Damina(vid) by vikyno(m): 8:36am On Jan 03, 2025 |
sparko1: It's not figurative, it's real, it's different from the apple you consume but real.
The apple itself is a problem, don't listen to those saying it's not the problem, immediately after consuming it, their eyes well open, they now recognize their unclothedness and lying, pretense, blaming others, stubbornness, everything begin to show. If it is different from the Apple we consume then it is figurative. Meaning it is something else they did and that's the message the Pastor was trying to pass. |

Most people did not even bother to listen to the tape before cruxifying him. He said the truth.
I alway knew the " Apple " being reffered to in the bible that Adam and Eve ate was just figurative. |

Owing palmpay will not make them deny you access to easy buy phones. Only if you are owing Palmcredit and Newcredit which are sister companies of easy buy. Your best bet is to try Mkopa. They only sell selected Samsung, Nokia and Mkopa phones. Your credit history won't affect you.
I did the same thing and I have fully repaid the money for my samsung phone. |

I advice you to do everything possible to protect her since you knew her problems already. I was practically in your on my mums too. Except that my mother is not the lazy type.
Try and get her a close relative or house help to live with her. Mental health is a big issue. She needs all the attention she can get in order not to get depressed. I and my siblings could not get anybody to live with my mum and it costs us her life at the end. I still miss her so much till today after 3 years of her demise and i wish i could turn back the hands of time. |

lhordspy: I pity the woke and liberal forming yorubas joining these unculutured, mannerless, immoral set of headless mob without home training to bring down Yoruba heroes. Headless mob that have no repect for anyone, not their king, or their leaders.. Not even their parents; that they wake up every morning with kick.
I pity the Yoruba parent who are allowing people from 'other places' to alter, deceive, mislead their children into bringing down the Yoruba leaders.
I pity the yoruba youth; because of internet validation, likes, shares, clout, followership are conniving with 'others' to malign, insults, cancel our elders one after the others. I see some of them on twitter even supporting the motion that says Soyinka cant lace Chinua Achebe's shoes. Very funny.
I pity for the future of the southwest. We are not grooming people like MKO, Awolowo, Tinubu, Soyinka, Fela and the other symbol of Leadership anymore. Instead we are growing weaklings, soft headed, feeble hearted kids like falz, like macaroni and a whole bunch of others with the mentality of 'I am yoruba but i dont think in yoruba' .. who are conniving with 'outsiders' to desecrate our heritage and culture; Which sprang up the philosophy and cultural concept 'Omoluabi' and 'Karo ojire' ..
It is respect, it is honour, it is our pride. It is why we are yorubas, it is why we are always ahead of all of them. It is what make us different. Unique. Distinctive.
I wish these little kids can understand. I wish it wont be too late before they do. Hypocrite! You didn't pity the Yoruba when Tinubu and his media dogs on the south west unleashed numerous insult on the person of Goodluck Jonathan then. I guess you encouraged and enjoyed the frenzy back then not knowing what goes around will always come around. Omoluabi my foot! |
