hmmm, call and find out. it seems legit... |
finally the era of flat, souless, "minimalistic design" is going away. tech companies are actually putting effort into their designs again |
if you are getting the Changan directly from China yourself; Changan dealerships won't touch it when it comes to servicing. If you're getting it from an authorized dealer in Nigeria, it's worth the money over a car made in 2014. my bias for Chinese vehicles asides, i'd recommend the Accord in terms of practicality. stay blessed |
please bring back the iPhone Mini. or make a sub 6-inch iPhone at the very least!!!! |
it's false news there is no mention of the CBN on their award list https://www.centralbanking.com/central-banking-awards/winners |
Omoawoke:My original post referred to practices in pre-colonial Africa, not to any specific cultural group, so I’m not sure why you feel targeted. That said, I agree that younger users on this forum should adopt a fact-based perspective rather than one shaped by grandiose narratives or an exaggerated view of our ancestral past that promotes past glory. That is the kind of uninformed mindset that should be avoided. Have a good day sir. |
Omoawoke:Oh Great Educated African Scholar!!! thank you for the eduka-shun ![]() pardon my ignorance, i forgot the ancestral cultural group wasn't african. funny how you didn't talk about your ancestors and their practice of Ogunwejemo amongst others, but oh well... according to you, you come from a long line of saints. Europeans openly acknowledge their past barbaric parctices uneducated Nigerians acknowledge our past barbaric practices and own the positive aspect of our lineage. But then again, a proud educated black man like yourself come from a long line of saints. ![]() |
Omoawoke:Sure.... blame the white man. cause i'm very sure they came in the pre-colonial times and taught us to kill twins, iron the chest of females, ritual killings, slavery (yes, slavery was common before the white men pulled up), face scarification (tribal marks), the caste system (osu) and so on. definately, the saintly african man couldn't have done this, it is those pesky white men that corrupted us |
chicfarmer:They can’t just cancel those contracts, they’re binding and tied to loans, so breaking them means penalties and lost trust. and lost trust will cause long term damage to the oil industry |
Godfullsam:Nigeria cannot currently divert crude to Dangote because most of its oil is already locked into long-term crude oil contracts with foreign buyers, so redirecting supply would mean breaching obligations or losing guaranteed revenue. That's why the refinery has to import instead. but still there is small wuruwuru on the side sha |
Nigeria cannot meet the refinery's demand because most of our crude is locked in export contracts |
-make a post to teach about identifying AI generated content -use a Gemini generated infograph to buttress your point ![]() let the sloppification of the Internet continue |
Afrobasic:you just summarized everything. p.s there are roughly 7 companies in the world that have a trillion $ or more market cap |
This is pretty much how the gig economy was built to work. It’s unfortunate, but it’s the reality. Platforms like Uber never really encouraged people to depend on them as their main income, and legally they’ve covered their bases. Some drivers are still out working though (I’m literally in a Bolt right now). Hopefully the strike leads to something, but the glory days of Uber as a solid income source seem to be fading. |
Difrent:population growth is a relative concept, but that's not even the point. the Titanic?? that's not just illogical, that's a low IQ statement tbh ![]() c'mon; you can't be serious? just for laughs, is this the Google search you are referring to? just take correction and be better informed. stay blessed bro.

summary: Some Nigerian girls were promised jobs and school in Russia but were tricked into making drones for war. They couldn’t tell their families, faced danger, and were shown fake “school” setups for visitors. Ads, social media, and local agents lured them. Even though they could go outside, they were trapped in a risky place. The UN says it might be human trafficking, yet recruitment still happens. the inability to read a long article and comprehend it is not something you should be proud of. if i had lied and twisted the message, you'd still believe my concise summary than the detailed article. may the universe save our attention span. |
Judolisco:it's still not justifiable the private sector of academics could care less about your PhD.
|
Difrent:This is a pretty illogical statement. China had massive casualties during World War II and the Spanish Flu, and later even went through a huge famine under Mao’s policies. Despite all that, their population still boomed afterward. Europe’s aging population wasn't really caused by those past events. It’s the result of several factors like consistently low birth rates, people living longer, and other demographic trends. But yeah, #saynotowar |
He left Meta late last year. He and Nsukkaberg had a falling out. He refused to accept unrealistic expectations that the AI industry was using to hype up AI and also being made to answer to a 29 year old Alexandr Wang that has no theoretical understanding about AI. his argument was be weary of hype culture in the AI space. remember web3 and crypto hype? yeah, he said they shouldn't bring that nonsense to AI and allow it grow organically. p.s: the AI industry is a bubble waiting to pop. |
yessssss "the Islamic Regime of Cuba is about to fall." they probably have nukes too ![]() cause we all know Trump is only going after threats to Christianity. freaking clowns |
It's actually reasonable, but in reality, the clauses will make it difficult to implement. still a quirky law though |
lol, reason has been planted. here comes the bombs |
blowjohn:strange times we live in. time will reveal all sha. |
I'm not big on conspiracies or anything. But can someone explain the "Jewish" agenda. Cause tbvh for Trump (who campaigned on an anti-war policy) to start a conflict in the Middle East without the approval of Congress... idk mehn. an agenda must be agenda-ing. |
Tenses:true sha; but having visionary leadership with strong institutions can achieve similar results at relatively equal scale. Look at the South Koreans and Singaporeans. |
fineboynl:if they plan and implement effectively, they could. let's wait and see (as a side note: Dubai has very little oil revenue, Abu Dhabi is the major producer and money maker in the UAE; so i am assuming you are using "Dubai" to refer to the UAE in general) |
Suriname discovered a shit ton of oil. Relative low population. And they are taking the Norway approach to oil money. p.s: everyone forgets Norway has bastard oil money |
troll him all you want. being broke is definitely not one of his problem!! even Asake taste soft life, my guy turn baddie one time.
|
you guys aren't getting the point, just because you've experienced 24h electricity supply doesn't mean Nigeria's electricity challenge doesn't exist!!! for Pete's sakes someone up there commented "Nigeria cannot afford to supply electricity" since 1960 ![]() the most populous black nation on Earth cannot generate electricity ![]() ![]() and y'all are acting like it's normal ![]() we should all have collective shame as a race if that's the case! "ohhhhh whites are jealous of us" "ohhhhh civilisation started in Africa" "we wuz kingssss and shiii" freaking clowns!!!!! electricity is not rocket science!!!!!! abeg, there is no excuse for power failure in 2026 other than institutionalised corruption. |
Prices of everything is about to increase |
"they are just hating cause they are lazy" shebi that's our new excuse? besides, Ghana might have a more powerful passport, but at least we have the better jollof rice; cause at the end of the day; that is what truly matters. |
politics asides. this is a really smart move. processed shea products have a wayyy significant higher export price than the raw nuts. if they extend this to cocoa as well, it'd be good. |
