Education / Re: If The Earth Should Rotate 30times Faster What Will Happen? by Vilgax: 9:06pm On Jul 26, 2022 |
ummmm let's see. on average the Earth spins at 460m/s let's round that up to 1000m/h. if it speeds up 30x that will bring its speed to a whopping 30000m/h. at such speeds, the centrifugal force that'll be generated (especially at equitorial regions such as Nigeria) would be sufficient enough to cancel out the effects of gravity. essentially, everybody go just fly off the oceans would submerge coastal regions and massively increased wind speed will flatten out the entire landscape. and of course the length of day and night would drastically be different. in summary, most of humanity will be wiped out in the first few days. 24 Likes |

if you think that two genders can accurately define members of a specie as diverse as human beings, you're wrong. if you're pissed off by this news, keep calm; it simply means you're a virtuous person... but that's the issue with virtuous people, they don't like people going around creating virtue that's different from theirs. ohhhh you hate it cause it's "sinful"? funny how you don't seem to mind the "sinful" society you currently find yourself in... anyhow we move! |

Science/Technology / Re: Why Do Caribbean Lizards Look Better Looking Than African Lizards by Vilgax: 10:12pm On Jun 28, 2022 |
the term lizard is used to describe over 7000 species of medium to small sized reptiles. different species are spread across different geographical locations. agama africana (our normal lizard) is far different from an iguana, or monitor lizard. I'm pretty sure people in the Carribean would be fascinated by our humble agama. 43 Likes 1 Share |
Education / Re: Hello, Does Anyone Know How To Prolong The High From Weed? by Vilgax: 10:54am On Jun 28, 2022 |
agela1223: convert your weed to edibles. for best results, incorporate them into a dish that has a significant amount of oil in it due to the fact that THC (the psychoactive constituent of marijuana) is not water soluble but easily fixes itself to oil molecules. your body will be able to efficiently extract the THC via your intenstines in this form. 2 Likes |

democracy. at least the Nigerian version of it. it's funny how some people really think electing one man in 2023 will fix problems that have been on ground since 1914. democracy makes people think that they have a voice in choosing their leaders. we are slaves who get to choose a new master every 4 years. but then again, I'm no Communist so... yay for democracy... ummmm what else... the concept of happiness being tied to financial success. this one here is a real kicker. money is great, like really great. but as far as happiness and self fulfillment goes... you realise it's just paper. anything else. ohhhh okay, the entire wedding industry. think about it. do you really need the government's permission to select a committed partner? 7 Likes 1 Share |

somewhere in the Western World, I bet people are killing themselves over the existence of Olodumare vs the existence of Chineke. I bet they burn down churches and mosques because they are fetish and erect grand buildings to reverence the Orishas. I bet when they close their eyes in prayer, they visualise a God with dreadlocks and tribal marks. I bet they abandoned their savage and local languages in pursuit of speaking Oba's Yoruba. 9 Likes |

centuries of religious indoctrination has made us believe in the sacred nature of life. ffs, any random couple can bring forth life from a 3 minute romp. heck, we can even grow babies in freaking test tubes now! if the sacred nature of life is your only argument for supporting this law, you basically have no basis for justification. 4 Likes 1 Share |

OurTruth: nice delivery so far. just wanted to point out that most of the world maps we were taught in our foreign based curriculum mostly uses Mercator's projection which greatly exaggerates the size of the Northern Hemisphere. most people end up thinking Greenland is almost the same size as Africa. just wanted to use this opportunity to correct that; this is what the continent's actually look like in terms of proportion. 17 Likes 3 Shares

Health / Re: How Weed Addiction Almost Ruined My Life back in University Days by Vilgax: 8:57pm On May 20, 2022 |
different strokes for different folks I guess. out of all the mind altering substances Nigerians take on a daily basis, weed is by far the lesser evil. marijuana in Nigeria is crap tbh. even the "premium" stuff you think you're smoking, it's just high end brick weed. but las las we have to make do with what we get. tips for safer smoking; - always use a filter or crutch while rolling, (helps with the dark lips part) - please take out time to pick out the stems and seeds!!! you could always use them to make CBD tea, but as far as smoking goes, they're a no no - if the weed wen you dey buy too dry, do not smoke it. you could always use it and make edibles or you can place it in an airtight container with a piece of orange peel or a little lettuce for an hour or two to allow it rehydrate. (don't leave it for too long, or your weed will get moldy and become unsafe from consumption) - when you're high, endeavour to always stay hydrated; preferably with water. marijuana is a plant. that's just it. all it does is breaks down the societal walls we've been forced to live within, that's why most new users experience a "personality change". some people are overwhelmed by this level of mental freedom it provides and cannot handle it. some people see themselves for what they really are and refuse to accept this objective view of themselves. some people come to realise the futility of existence and fall into a state of existential dread (depression). while a small proportion of people that are genetically predisposed to schizophrenia can trigger it's manifestation with the use of marijuana. as a result of one or a combination of these factors, some individuals become paranoid or depressed after marijuana use. but note, this represents only a minute portion of users. it has been used by cultures around the world for centuries to aid in the spiritual awakening of the mind. it's really hard for governments to control a population of awakened minds with propaganda and lies. hence the years of demonization of the plant by mainstream media. marijuana is not for everybody. I'm not here to glorify it. I'm not here to condemn it. to each his own. it's just a plant. 48 Likes 11 Shares |

SEGLIZ: glacial erosion abi? it goes like this. let's explain the two terms. erosion- small small wearing away of a rock (in this context) by agents of denudation. glacier - this one na basically river wen done freeze turn ice block and e dey usually flow from place wen high come downhill. following? let's continue. you don put soft drink or wine inside freezer before, leave am for some time, come back and realise say e don burst? this is called anomalous expansion of water. this one basically mean say when water don cooold, it normally expands. if you've climbed a rock before you can testify that some usually have cracks in them. now imagine water getting into these cracks, and freezing. when frozen, they expand inside, gradually disintegrating the rock from the inside. this is a common form of glacial erosion. now back to the Pulpit Rock, it's located in Norway abi? Norway is located near the North Pole. North Pole cold abi? Let's go back in time during the last Ice Age (this na period when global temperatures dey low) the temperature was so cold that the entire region of what we call Norway was covered in ice and glaciers. it was around this time that this cliff (Pulpit Rock) and it's underlying fjord were formed by the erosive action of an ancient glacier. normal river erosion is a bit different, but in tropical regions like Nigeria, instead of having fjords and cliffs, we have deltas and sandy beaches. it's basic geography. i know you might still have extra questions and i know you might not want to hear this, but "Google is your friend" I hope I've been able to offer a little help. If you feel it sounds like jargons and make-believe, I won't be surprised. Reality is actually crazier than fiction. E go be. 2 Likes |

Kosoco: 1. science is not an entity to attribute anything to; it's a process of understanding. 2. you have the right to believe in whatsoever you wish to believe. 3. the process of glacial erosion that formed the cliff and the underlying fjord offers a more in-depth explanation to those who actually thirst for understanding. if you're comfortable with believing your God said; "let there be sharp rock", and there was sharp rock, that's fine as well. 7 Likes |
