sammysmiles:OBSERVATION: from fossil records as well as archeological findings, evolutionary biologist were able to create an evolutionary time-frame including migratory patterns of man. From observing these fossils, they were at least 9 species of humans. Modern humans (homo sapiens) survived this long die to our incredibly enlarged and complex brains while other species such as Homo erectus and the Neanderthals which relied on brute strength died off from environmental factors and/or were wiped out by Homo sapiens (which is still carried out by modern humans in the form of genocide). also, observe your appendix and coccyx (tailbone). what are their functions? next to nothing! why? cause they're vestigial organs that are no longer needed. our ancestors ate a lot of uncooked plant based meals, the appendix was used to break down cellulose. but over time we started cooking food and consuming more meat (more protein lead to bigger brains, you see how everything is connected?) and as such the appendix lost its primary use. skin colour is a result of evolution also, over time the human body adjusted to it's environment. Africans were constantly bombarded with UV rays hence we developed skins with enough melanin to protect us. Caucasians didn't really need this so they have less melanin. They're lots of observable examples, you just have to open your eyes and see ![]() EXPERIMENT: if I start with this one ehnnnn, na me go tire . kindly look up Darwin's experiments on the Galapagos Islands.it's true that it's a theory. but due to the massive amount of time between these events (evolution no be one week something) it's sometimes hard to fill in these gaps. All the same science isn't stagnant and as such people are always going to try and fill up those grey areas with new findings. it's just human nature. |
sammysmiles:The Big Bang Theory is one of the most famous theory of the origin of the universe (although, they are others; Time's Arrow, The Immense Bulk, Steady States, etc). The Big Bang Theory in its simplest explanation basically assumes that the universe was in a really dense and hot state before it started rapidly expanding in all directions (the suggested reasons for this are wayyy to complex to simplify abeg ).this theory seems to hold water due to observable changes between different galaxies (which points to the expanding nature of the universe) and also, the observable slowing down of this expansion (due to the effects of gravity). there's still loads of things I skipped in this (extremely summarised) narration of the Big Bang Theory. concerning the second question, "the whole man descended from apes" is a misinterpretation of the evolutionary process. a more apt statement is "man as well as apes are descended from the same ancestor". to answer your question, yes; it's clear as day that man shares some similarities with apes, but you should be aware that the biological branch of apes and humans are still far apart on the evolutionary tree. the modern human is the last of his species; the Homo. (not homosexual o abeg )I could keep on typing but I'll never be able to break it down into easier parts. it's a very complicated topic. trust me I know. if you really want to know more you could read up on the subject. you don't necessarily have to believe it or anything. it's just nice to have a working knowledge of the subject. it'll be easier for you to discredit it thoroughly when you know more about it. ![]() have fun |
kingxsamz:like my guy you get?? it just doesn't follow. the solution to the proverbial "African Mentality" we dey see hasn't been found o .but I can definitely say that it isn't changing the name of our collective colour |
sammysmiles: ![]() sorry bro, i'm not falling for this ![]() you definitely know I'm going to give you a rundown on the whole evolutionary process and whatnot ![]() but the truth is you're a staunch believer of Creationism (the whole 7 days stuff abi?) and as such no matter how I try and simplify man's evolutionary journey to you, you are still going to criticize some points. you stick to your Creationism. I'll stick to my evolution. just stop oversimplifying how Man came to be. loamy soil?? reason am na, e sweet for your mouth? |
sammysmiles:did you pay attention in biology class my nigga? skin cells die all the time and are left on the skin surface, the skin also secretes sebum (skin oil, incase you aren't familiar with the term). over time (let's say a day) this mixture of dead cells and sebum builds up on the skin. if you use a white handkerchief or paper towel to clean it off it'll appear like dirt (normally it comprises of dirt, but due to your scenario of being inside all day I removed that from the mix). it's easy to think this is dirt as in loamy soil but in reality it's not.quote me if you have anymore ![]() |
poiunt:good point sir. i hope you're right. |
sammysmiles:do you expect dust not to settle on your skin ![]() abi you be ghost? |
poiunt: ![]() i get your point, but do not dismiss the question. is changing the way we refer to ourselves going to change anything? |
specimen23:so going by his logic, if we change the way we refer to ourselves (i.e., as black people) to a more appropriate term (people of colour, coloured people, etc.) we would witness a drastic change in our developmental pattern? now answer this like a living thing; is that a logical train of thought? |
kunkelhanspeter:don't forget the relaxed hair. this nigga must really hate being black. |

if you aren't joining the protest today, you've lost the right to complain. |
femi4:but you find Creationism logical? |
wow, that's cool. but honestly, they're numerous mountain lakes (also known as tarns) scattered throughout the world. i don't even think the term "suspended lake" is an actual thing ![]() only two "suspended lakes"?? na wa ![]() |
VickyRotex:or better yet, his alter ego; Agent Micheal Scarn.

Felix180:lol yeah. twas a really nice book. |
ethicallyright:lol nice one, those who don't get it don't get it. never, ever, explain satire. - elnatahan John |
FeliciaOja:i'm aware they belong to same class. i only had an issue with you inferring that cuttlefishes are a type of octopus. be cautious of the terminologies you use to present your research; one wrong term can invalidate your whole theory. Happy Researching ![]() |
FeliciaOja:a cuttlefish is entirely different from an octopus. a cuttlefish is not a type of octopus. |
that's her biological son ffs. it's obvious that kid is biracial. Photo 1: Anja and her son. Photo 2: The kid she saved.

the man in the second and third post is Paul Karson. his blue skin was as a result of Argyria which is a condition caused by excessive exposure to chemical compounds of the element silver, or to silver dust. Colloidal silver was a major part of his lifestyle due to it's unverified "medical properties". hence his blue skin. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Argyria |
TheGodlessGod:The University of South Africa has over 400,000 students and I doubt any of it's various campuses is as big as UNIBEN. The landmass of a university doesn't necessarily equate to the number of students it can support. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/University_of_South_Africa |
Freddie Gibbs and The Alchemist have done it again!!
|
purplecoco:Warner Chapelle huh? they mostly deal with music publishing so technically he's independent in the songwriting process... so i kinda get your point. anyhoo, music publishers and record labels are both sides of the same coin to me that's why I feel he sold out and ceased being independent. |
The Coloring Book - Chance the Rapper. probably Chance's magnum opus...
|
purplecoco:I don't think Frank is all that independent , but you're right about Kendrick. |
purplecoco:don't even get me started on Kendrick and Frank Ocean; those guys don't believe we exist anymore. |
it's been almost 5 years since RiRi dropped anything; are we a joke to her??

na you sue pass ... suleman |
