the dude isn't a breeder nor an expert.
he just trolls every page and you're begging him for advice and giving him attention.
ignore the account whenever you come across it.
he doesn't even know what a boerbel is and you're asking him for advice?, he doesn't even have a dog to start with he screenshots other peoples dogs and lies that they belong to him
Lols I laughed when he was seeking advice from him ignoring what other people have to say

Ginaz:
Last month when she got ill. They gave her all necessary multivitamins and all. Please help me o. I’m tired of her character.
Multivitamins should be given on regular basis not monthly.

Get fried fish, mix it with boiled chicken thereby making it to produce a kinda aroma which no dog can resist. All dogs love freshly fried fish

Store these things in your fridge and you warm when about to serve her, never serve it cold to her. Do these and her appetite should be restored in no time

If you're kinda confused check this thread, it'll put you through

OKOATA:
Why don't you give her the normal dog food, that one is better instead of all this stress. I think it's 3k or so.. It's like groundnut but it has all the ingredients in it. Have forgotten the name. That's what I gave my Boar Bull
She said her dog doesn't eat eba and soup, chicken, processed dog food and all that so what makes you think it'll eat the groundnut stuff? Not all dogs like it after all.

Ginaz when last did you administered multivitamins and deworm on her?

IamAnderson:
how much do you get the pork spine and is it as soft as goat spine?
I've only tried goat and cow spines and cow spines are so strong and useless so I stuck with the goat spines.
I'll like to try pork spines too sometime
I actually got these ones for N350 and yea it's nice. But not made of cartilage at all just bone marrows ( soft and nice)

I haven't fed goat spines before tho, how does it look like?
PetsRe: Murphy the Boerboel and Gustaf the German shepherd by vincentjk(op): 6:44pm On Oct 25, 2019
As I prepare Augusto's dinner i also prepare mine as well.

the main reason why i prefer mixing, cooking and preparing my boys meal often instead of serving kibbles and canned foods then go my way is because I actually like cooking, it's my hubby smiley

They dine well, I do as well. Can't come and kill myself

PetsRe: Murphy the Boerboel and Gustaf the German shepherd by vincentjk(op): 3:35pm On Oct 25, 2019
Got some pork spines for Augusto on Sunday. This spinal cord is made up of 80% bone marrows and 20 meat.

Since Augusto is still a 2months old pup and unable to crush the bone marrows into finished stage in order to swallow. i used cutlass to break them into smaller pieces, boiled and pounded it little by little then stored inside the fridge for mixing his breakfast.

Since spices ain't the best for a dog's system, i boil without adding anything to it, the aroma oozing outta the pot alone assured me he'd love it. I usually combine it with his kibbles as breakfast and he loves the combination, I can tell from the way he finishes the finishes everything within 1-2minutes or so (but he doesn't rush his food, he never does). I make the quantity moderate not too much but nutritious and enticing.

Serving a dog too much food at a time isn't good isn't a good thing, it doesn't make a dog grow more than the person serving moderately but balanced feeding rather i think leaving food in a dog's plate always is a bad habit

IamAnderson:
yeah I just wanted to point out that your dog can add a lot of mass after 1yr, in fact the dog's full mass comes out after one year.
some dogs esp large/giant breeds don't get thick or muscular until after 1yr so if you feel like because your dog isn't as thick as the one's you see online at 1yr then you shouldn't really bother just feed and exercise and the mass will come when it's right smiley
what he said was absolutely correct tho, I just wanted to explain it more, no worries wink
Noted.

you know his dog is a boerbel right?
she'll stop growing at about 2-3 years not one.
at 1 yr she isn't at her full mass or height, she'll still add more although not as fast as her puppy growth.
dogs that grow on an average over 100lbs don't apply to that 1yr rule, they grow till 3yrs although slower with time.
dogs under 100lbs stop growth at around 1yr plus while dogs smaller than 30lbs stop growing even sooner.
it's not the same rule with every breed especially if it's a male dog

e g this is vastelin a Caucasian shepherd at 14 months
second pic at 2yrs
third pic at 3yrs back at his home town
you see the difference right?.
the bigger the breed the slower it grows wink
I think he didn't mean the dog would stop growing at a year old rather he's telling kay to do more work on his girl during her first year of age, that's the best time to bulk a dog up before getting to two years

is it the food or the people that is the problem ?
The both. Food probably contains lots of bones without you knowing, food remains that maybe be containing contents from hand-washing and all that. The morning fresh and soap used in washing and sanitizing hands are chemical and shouldn't be consumed

Btw how's your dog

lmao he feeds the dogs how he likes and he doesn't want to believe it's affecting them no matter how you advise, I'm tired of warning him let him do what he wants.
that's how he buys dogs every time, the breeder he uses even knows him for that and he's a usual customer, that's were I got Roscoe from sef lol.
he also believes this stupid thing that people do that they put alcohol in their dog's eyes and give them to drink at night to make them "aggressive"
I pity the dogs but I'm tired of arguing with him let him do what he wants since he's an expert
Lols, I used to buy foetus before but i stopped on my own after realizing it isn't the best for a dog. People get remains from restaurants because it's cheap but it isn't just best for dogs ( remains from people you don't even know) huh

I don't blame them because i understand that feeding a dog isn't an easy task but we should do things right sometimes

that's how I prepared the soup for my dog the few times I've fed him soup.
people just like to argue with what vets advise like they studied veterinary medicine, because their dog didn't drop dead in front of them.
I know someone that has never had a dog that lived past 7yrs irrespective of the breed and he keeps plenty dogs at a time.
they always die from strange illnesses or sometimes he'll just come out one morning and see them dead. one of them choked on a chicken bone in front of him and died there
he was even arguing with me one day that dogs don't live past 7yrs cheesy
he keeps saying it's because of the breed, but he has tried different breeds and they still don't last long in his hand.
he feeds his dogs stupid things and when I complain he'll say he has been keeping dogs longer than I have and I'll just back off and let him do his thing.
the guy feeds his dogs rubbish, from strong bones to tea with Milo and even coco pops or peppersoup and fast food waste
now he's complaining that current gsd of about 4yrs is constantly drinking water and urinating frequently and upon that, he doesn't want to hear that he should watch what he feeds the dogs, now he wants to try out rottweiler cheesy
I don't get why people find it hard to listen to instructions about all these dog related warnings, they always want to argue with no credibility or tangible proof so they'll feel like experts and say "you don't even know anything about dogs".
Lols your write up made me laugh really hard @someone feeding milk, tea and hard bones lmao

well it's fine let everybody just feed their dog how they want sha

Yesterday's dinner for Augusto. I noticed the excess protein content on these food so i used rice as filler and to also dilute it a bit to avoid purging again.

These are;

An egg
A head of fried fish
Dallas canned food
Awara (made from soya)

Misconception!

My pet amazed me at 3 months when I gave it okro. for the next few meals... She refused to eat her food (husse Valp dry food)... I tried native soup... It relished it again. So what I did from 4 months was that it ate dry food in the mornings and at night was surprise time. Mashed yam, mashed potatoes, noodles, eba with draw soup...etc

I complained to the vet that this was weird.. 2 vets confirmed that this is normal for mastiffs

Palm oil, salt and Maggi is not good for any dog? :oMehn I really doubt you know things about dogs grin
IamAnderson is right. Salt, Maggie, onion and most ingredients aren't good for dogs.

Sometimes i serve meat raw or boil with a little water without adding any ingredient to it, they'll eat it

For the draw soup I use chicken broth and dry fish but add a little Maggie and salt to make it tasty since i got no options

There is no special way... Just ur regular draw soup... Preferably okro. Try it once and see if she likes it.
Every dog likes draw soup and semo so far the soup is prepared well

i know that he is not full....
Some one scammed me of 50k showing me a fake parent pic........ But i have no other choice than to him like that
Some dogs no matter what you feed them they will remain that way. This dog in picture doesn't look pure to me, the tin bones, head shape, size and all that aren't just adding up.

Feeding could do wonders though, hopefully

To an extent. (depending on who approaches her and how you approach her) Though i am not expecting much from a six month dog. She is still a pup, her guard instinct will surely surface with time, cos the parent are ok with that.
Soon the their drives would kick in, Infact I'm being optimistic on my pup already because I can read the handwriting on the wall
