Come to think of it, the resources to thrive academically are here, I and my other naija guy here got very good jobs, grades and everything we wished for. I won't go further in listing all.

Please gurus in the house, I applied to another university last night and I made a mistake.

They asked for my first name and I wrote my full name, they asked for my surname and I also wrote my full name.

Example.
First Name: Okonkwo Gbenga
Family name : Okonkwo Gbenga

Thereby making my Name to be repeatedly displayed as Okonkwo Gbenga Okonkwo Gbenga.
Before I discovered the mistake, I had already submitted the application.
Please is that mistake enough to deny one Admission?
Is there anything I can do to salvage that situation?
All my documents are correct and names written properly

My question is what easy course can someone study offer there, (by easy course, I mean a course that's very easy to undertake .. Just like library science in Nigeria, I hope someone gets what I mean)

Getting out of the country is the issue and honestly, I'm really not very interested in the degree, just want to get out of this country and can't find any faster means than student visa that's why I'm opting for it

Guys, thank you all for your efforts. It has been an enlightening read.

I have three questions:

1. First with the trivial: What is the "AM" or "Angel Merkel" everyone keep referring to. I haven't figured what they mean by that.

2. I have a 2:1 in Economics (Bachelors), an MSc in Information Technology from the UK. I want to apply for courses in the computer and natural science in Germany. The schools I have checked (TUM, Ulm, RWTHAachen) seem to place great emphasis on your bachelors to be related to the proposed MSc. I assume that corner cases like mine should have a shot at being admitted. Anyone with experience on such a case? Or advice?

3. My third question is related to the second. I applied for the Informatics course at TUM. One of the documents I am supposed to submit is a curriculum analysis (attached). I have no idea how to convert credit load for my BSc courses to ECTS. I have scoured the internet. Anyone with information on how to do this?

I have waited endlessly for A.M to arrive. I funded long before the interview.
I contacted the foreign office in Weingarten, which is city am heading to. They keep saying they have not received my application by post or electronically . I emailed the embassy to notify them, but as usual no replies. I called customer care, as expected no good response. She was just saying send mail(that never get replied). Infact the foreign office have now contacted the embassy themselves to send the application. Any useful advice will be appreciated as my enrollment deadline is sooo close.

I feel bad that I just got to know a lot today. Uniassit said one should give at least 8weeks and the course I want to apply ends May 1st I haven't done anything.

Hi all, good pm. Weldone for the good job you guys are doing here. Newbie, read some post but not all. I want to apply for Msc in radiation biology at TUM, plz my questions are;
1. Do I need to notarized my documents b4 applying digitally? Cod I have gone thru d dock.ent I am to provide via online app, I didn't see where they asked me to upload my credentials with the exception of my CV, MOTIVATIONAL LETTER, ENGLISH PROF. AND passport. So do I wait until I notarized my documents b4 applying digitally?

2. Please what is VPD. I saw that I was asked to upload that just immediately after the English prof stuff.

3. How do I get my health insurance for submission and do I need health insurance certificate b4 applying online?

4. I read a post here directing us on where to notarized our documents like high court etc. In high court is it not a lawyer that will notarized it? Cos I saw a note they put on that page of my application that ' on no account will they accept a notarization from a lawyer etc.

5. Does it mean that if i apply today and deadline is on May 1st, then I send my credentials and it doesn't get to d school b4 d deadline ie May 1st, it means I won't be given admission?

Am sorry for the long post plz.
