Good evening everyone here. I'm really learning from great minds and I pray God blessings be unto everyone that has really helped all of us out here. Please, I have an HND and I have just 1m with me and I really want to come down to Germany(infact I'm desperate). I don't have the €8640 to pay into a block account for student visa. Please, is there any other way one could come down to Germany? Or can one do any short courses and still remain in Germany after the course? Which other way can I travel to Germany since I'm not buoyant enough to fund my block account? Help a brother here please.

Talking about short courses as long as you are gonna stay up to a year in DE the minimum of €8640 is required.

That's how one guy was disgraced by Mr Paulinus last year when he was asked about his visa fee, and he boldly said his agent has sorted it out. Come here, we go put you for our nursery school (page 1), before three weeks all things being equal, you go don dey register for your waec and jamb (page 105), and before you go know, you go don graduate for university (porting into Germany proper)

We get very good teachers and experienced lecturers plus old professors (veterans ie our chairmen wey dey germo) weh go make sure say you sabi the theory and the practical wella.

NB: Registration form na free, as long as you don get log in and password.

Thats stuff is mostly for those with german high school cert but for international students they will tell you 'or its examination equivalence' which points to waec/neco for students from west africa/nigeria

Nop the BA covers it but it takes some time to activate the blocked account so you need money to live on be4 then including the accommodation if you have to pay before they start releasing your blocked money

I heard BA is released in parts every month. Will some money be released for me immediately I enter Germany to use and buy some necessary things for my settlement or do I need to enter with cash at hand in addition to BA.

I want to know so that I know how much I have now and how much needed.

Flight is not static Coz some do fly on student discount and moreover two aero companies might have different prices and it might differ from city to city
Then for accomodation what you like is what you pay for. It differs too

If all the schools i am applying to are through UniAssist, can i have my school send my official transcript directly to them as it can be quite challenging trying to get hold of it myself.

Yea they can send it directly but it's better you collect it and send it yourself there are tips here on how to get the official copy or get the student copy some people have used it to pull

Generally, you can change school in Germany easily within your first 3 semesters but you might need to have a short interview with the alien office if you want to change your school from the 4th semester and above. So, it means that it is totally possible. As a matter of fact, if you are in school A and the whole thing is turning South, do not wait till you get into exam regulation troubles before you port to another course or school. Shalom

When I first heard about Germany opportunities from my brother Berliner, I read a comment by Justwise that stuck in my heart before I decided to follow suit, he said "if you know you don't have any relative that will give you SL and your family or sponsors are not capable of raising 3.5million for you, then you don't have any business applying to Germany".
I was set back by his statement but it helped me, so that I won't be wasting my time. My initial budget to travel out was within 1.5-2mil, but I decided to get my sponsors backing for 3.6mil first, before applying for last year winter that I didn't get
Am writing this, cos I have noticed a lot of comments on proof of sustenance and I feel we need to do the first things first. As much as I believe in the existence of miracles and Grace, the truth is that God does will we live by Grace or Miracles alone, but following the principles. I know of some people that have been getting admission and have not traveled because of same money talk, one sef this winter will be his 3rd attempt and I pray he sails through.
Am not saying we should give up say 3.6mil no d account but be honest and realistic, if e no de, plan am to another time and start saving and hustling towards it than giving yourself too much pressure
Germany will still be here till God knows when, some that won't even go will have their children go on their behalf, let's take it jeje before we loose even our 1 mil for SL runs. All i did was read and from reading you could decipher between good and better. I always had one thing on my Mind and it was BA. People have travelled on bought SL tho but they should be kind enough to tell others what coping without BA for a newbie in Germany is like. I dont know maybe people think when they pay for SL on arrival to DE the 1mill or so will be refunded to them or something biko its gone already. At least you will need cash for your semester fee, sometimes 3months of rent upfront. By the end of the day Nigga fit done spend over 500k and this is compulsory for a newbie. Of course the guy you bought this SL from won't be the one making the expenses for you which rubbishes the main idea behind SL.
Am not trying to spoil business for scammers around here oo am just trying to give sense to some fellows

I just want to add that at TUM one can enroll without being in Germany. I’m yet to apply for student visa but I did my enrollment after paying the required semester fee. During application, I sent documents for admission and enrollment at the same time. After admission (was admitted without interview) I was only required to pay semester fee to complete my enrollment.

Yeah that was why I mentioned someone who enrolled in proxy here

I assume your appointment is for visa interview and based on my assumption

1. School registration?.. You ain't paying be4 interview unless in some cases where you ve to pay full or part of you school fees for tuition-ed Universities.. Your enrollment is when you get to Germany tho someone said sometime here that he did in proxy

2. Booking for accommodations no concern the interview or embassy tho sometimes the v.o might just ask you 'what preparations have you made for a hitch-Free beginning in DE' it rarely comes tho.. So it's not mandatory you pay for any accommodation be4 going for interview

In the case of applying to multiple schools via uni assist. I understood that sending one set of documents will do. But i will have different motivation letters unique to the various schools I'm applying to. Can i include them and how do i indicate this to uni assist?

I think motivation letters should be different especially when you are applying for different courses.. Put all'em in your application set

Some people are applying for language courses, on the immigration policies, they are required to travel back to their home country afterwards to apply for whatever subsequent visa they want to but some people will abuse the process citing the "per head" clause. I hope people don't abuse the process in the name of God. Go for church services and you'd see people with passports praying earnestly for visas, most travelled to the US & Canada on tourist visas and never came back now the chances of getting a (B1/B2) tourist visa in these countries is next to nothing because of abuse and people feel it was God that granted it for them. Requirements should be followed, and if there are divergent cases, I'm quite certain they aren't as much as your making it sound. God is for everybody, and not for a certain set of people.

Encourage people to get the requirements as much as they can and when they can't, they can make an earnest case with God and man. There's a guy currently chatting me up on whatsapp, he applied to 5 schools last year, they all shenked him. HTW-berlin sent him a mail that they'll take proficiency letter; they still rejected him based on that and when he cited the email to enquire why he was rejected based on proficiency since they assured him he'd be fairly considered with a letter of proficiency, they refused to reply!.

I am a believer of God and Grace.

I believe God factor or no God factors there are still laid down rules to whatever we do concerning Germany migration. Okay check this Coz of God factor someone will just wake up one day without complete certs and apply for a German University Coz it worked for his friend? Or because of self fulfillment someone will wake up one day and apply because he has complete documents without considering the impact of grace?.. Either ways the two persons might or may not still get admitted... (no be only you Waka come) I am a strong believer of being on a safer side.. Now look at the guy that got approved without SL or BA it wasn't his plans of course he talked about his sponsor's predicament now grace located him assuming he had the money but didn't block it or was chilling with cold zobo waiting for God to use grace and rig his case out... He might not get it

MY point? : in as much as there is grace and God we still have to follow instructions bumper to bumper right?.. Dont waste your resources Coz you hope on God's factor when there are other places simple obedience would bag you admissions and break throughs

You should be expecting your approval mail this week by his grace.. You can write your school for extension of enrollment date if you can't meet up and see what they can offer you

@bolded is your school's method of saying first class or just pass but in numbers schools in Nigeria have their maximum grading to be 5.00 And minimum 1.00 hope you now understand the bolded for generating it like someone said it's usually found in your transcript. You can adopt the page for submission

I started my application as every other person, I was admitted last winter but was unable to pursue it because my sponsor asked me to wait a little while. After my second admission this summer, I booked for an interview . I'm sorry I didn't post my transcript ,u will understand why later on. My interview was scheduled on the 9th January, a few days to that I called my sponsor for my blocking only for him to tell me that he lost a huge amount of money,God so kind he didn't say I shouldn't go. I traveled to Lagos on the 06/01/2019.
I got to the embassy around 6am. Unknowingly to me, I didn't duplicate the Block account opening confirmation which made Mr. Paulinus to send me back.
After the duplication, I never knew that I ought to have duplicated my SOP, when Mr paulinus noticed I didn't Photocopy my SOP the man nearly send me packing, on reaching to the VO,she asked for the same thing.
My interview was an informal conversation, It looked as if we knew each other before( na fun I swear). Na the VO later photocopy the SOP.
On my way back, I slightly escape a fatal accident that took a man's life on the spot.
About 4 weeks later, I got my AM requesting that I sent
1: Passport
2: 6 months travel insurance

After sending my passport on the 06/03/2019( I was scared bcs no evidence of funding)
I got a mail from the embassy, asking me why did I choose 14/04/2019 as my travelling date knowing fully well that my semester starts on 01/04/2019.
I quickly replied to them that it's an error, that I meant March not April. The next day I got a second mail from the embassy requesting for a valid 6 month Health Insurance starting from 14 March 2019. I subscribed that with Faith and I forwarded it via email on the 12 March 2019.
That same night, I read a post here were a person that had similar case was later asked to present “Evidence of funding” that post alone nearly killed me. I lost hope.
On 18/03/2019 I got a call from a courier service that they have my parcel.
19 /04/2019 I picked my parcel Lo and behold my Visum was approved.

This was approved without BA or SL

I strongly believe that with God all things are possible. He specializes in things that are impossible. I believe he will do the same to you. Amen. Thank God for my friends who never ceased sounding faith to me.

My own advice: as they approved your visum without proof of financial okayness please make sure you have something to live on so you dont get stranded in Germany
