That is Good development. Benue has suffered alot in the hands of senator George Akume, its high time the Benue electorate show Akume the way out of Benue politics. He is too selfish to continue as a leader...

The people of Benue state is set to decides the political fate of the senator representing Northwest(zone B) George Akume. The people who sees the senator as somebody yet to show his relevance to them, especially at their trying moment are no longer in good stance with him. He his persive as a selfish politician. They are set to throw him out of Benue politics come 2019.

The great people of Benue state are tired of Senator Akume's influence in the overall activities of the state. He has no good plans. He does not represent or defend the state in anyway. His presence in sanate is a minus for the state. He only has a selfish mind. He is too close to Hausa/Fulani's leaders. He has never make the people feel his positive side.
Even His sit in the senate will be taken away from him by the good people of Benue state come 2019.

Baseless talk from Fulani chief. He has forgotten his open rejection of the Benue Anti-open grazing law which he call on all herdsmen to come to Benue state.
We all know their plan and agenda. Some communities invaded by Fulanis in Plateau state are now being rename by the invaders.
Their actions and plan shall fail..

Come to think of it, every region in Nigeria has been occupied century ago even before colonization. The Fulanis as their own place to live, let them remain in those places and carryout their herds business. If they want to extend their business beyond their areas then they should buy land and establish ranches.
There is no way they can obtain land by killing and occupying peoples homes in this century.

2. Irrigation water can also serve ranches just like it serves farmers. Take poultry farmers for example. Their feed comes from a farm and grass for herds can be cultivated.
3. The training farmers get is applicable to herders if the grow what their liuestock eats like poultry farmers grow grains for chickens.
4. There are seeds applicable to herds feed also. It is a matter of the herders agreeing to grow what their livestock feed on.
5. Let them rent and pay for tractors like other poultry farmers who grow grains.


Conclusion - Govt can't leave poultry farmers paying tax and start planting grass for foreigners.

The herdsmen are only lazy,they dont want to work hard to earn feeding for their cattles... Let them attend nomadic schools to get knowledge..

The national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Chief Bola Tinubu has reportedly accused the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of plotting to loot the country’s treasury for 60 years.
The Punch reports that the former Lagos state governor’s allegation was contained in a goodwill message released on Saturday, June 23 after the party’s convention.

Tinubu said many people were against the formation of the APC and did all they could to stop the merger.
He alleged that the doubters forged different tactics to prevent the APC’s formation.
He said: “The doubters who gave APC no chance of existence or of continued survival have gotten their reply in full. Their envious prayers and complaints have been answered in reverse.
“They wanted to see the end of us and our pursuit of good governance for Nigeria. You should not forget, as I shall never forget, the strong efforts they made to stop us in the courts.
“There were twelve cases brought trying to stop us from merging, from registering the new party, then attempting to bar our candidate from the election.
“Lacking the courage to face the democratic will of the people, they tried to misuse the courts as a weapon against democracy.
“We thank the judiciary for following the letter and spirit of the constitution by dismissing this dirty dozen of malicious cases filed against us.
“With their schemes foiled, those who tried to destroy us must bear witness to the destruction of their edifice of corrupt governance and their dreams of unjust domination of our nation.
“While they planned a lifetime of greedy enrichment by looting the people’s resources and the public treasury for 60 years, we moved to reform the economy to bring development and aid to the poor. ”
“When they hoisted the standard of bias, we raised the flag of justice and the chevron of fairness.”
Meanwhile, Tinubu pledged his support for President Muhammadu Buhari's second term bid, saying that the president deserved a second term in office.

Tinubu, who made the comments in Abuja on Tuesday, June 12, at the investiture of Moshood Abiola in Abuja, said that he would work for Buhari's victory in the 2019 presidential election, Punch reports.
NAIJ.com notes that Tinubu claimed that Nigerians are no longer paying for darkness, giving an indication that electricity supply has become stable under the administration of Buhari.
