Make una stop this praise singing I beg. It will be too difficult with the masses with the total removal of subsidy. Cheap fuel drives Nigerias economy. Salary has not improved. How do people cope with rise of cost of living? Tinubu should set up a committee to know the exact litters of petrol used by Nigerians daily, identify mode and means of theft including diversion. You dont throw the child and bathwater away. If the proper thing is done it will be discovered that out of the 60m litters NNPC quoted Nigerians consume daily that we consume even less than 30m. That wont be much for Government to subsidized even at half price. Can someone talk to Remi Tinubu please? She has listening ears and the ears of her husband.

it is very easy to look back now, with the benefit of hindsight and say all who protested in 2011 were wrong and dishonest, but let's just take a moment and reflect on that event.
I still maintain that while removal of fuel subsidy was economically desirable, the way the GEJ administration tried to go about it, was very insensitive. To remove fuel subsidy in the middle of the Christmas celebrations was an immoral action. We all know the expenses people incur at the end of year, how could they think that was a morally right thing to do?
Of course the opposition seized on it and lead the protests, that's what oppositions do. The ultimate responsibility for that sad event lies with GEJ and his advisors.
Just to be clear, I am in no way shape or form an APC supporter, I think they are a cancer on the Nigerian state, but that does not mean we should not tell the truth at all times
